The answer is definitely YES! Beautiful craftsmanship, Parker! Thanks a lot for sharing
Bag looks great. Love your work bench. What plastic (?) cutting cover do you have on it? Do you have a name / brand you can send me?
Maybe this is just me not having enough experience with sewing machines, but I wouldn't have enough faith in a sewing to not screw up on a bag so expensive. Hand stitching for me all the way.
You will never grow unless you do the uncomfortable.
That's a damn fine piece of gear right there. Well done.
Thanks a lot James, appreciate that!
Your videos are so honest. I love the way you show how to correct and make adjustments. As someone learning that is so valuable. It doesn’t always go right but it’s how you adjust that matters.
It looks amazing, I can't wait to check back in in 50 years to see how it patinas. I expect an update video in a few decades on this bag, whether you keep it or give it to someone. This bag can be the test on whether a shell cordovan bag is worth it. Does it patina just as beautifully as we imagine.
Amazing! I love how you show the mess ups and the real process! Thanks for all you do for the community!
Thank you! Means alot:)
Haha, I love how brutally honest you are about your anxiety level working with that much shell….I feel the exact same way. I’ve been holding on to a (small) piece of Shell Cordovan for almost a year, definitely need to make something out of it, pronto!!
Thanks for the video Parker
I love the white thread. It pops perfectly. I was on the edge of my seat wondering if you would have enough leather. It is beyond worth it to make this bag.
When they were trying to make the new pieces they should have tested it on scrap LOL
That moment when you punched those handle holes and said: “Oh damn!” - My heart skipped a beat, not gonna lie.
Amazing work!
haha thanks dude:)
My heart literally skipped a beat 😧when that handle was too short. Wow, I was way too emotionally invested into this build 😅. That she’ll bag 💼 is gorgeous!
Most beautiful product ive ever seen on this channel just stunning
Absolutely incredible!
Awesome job Parker !
Keep up the great work !
Many blessings brother...
Wow. Beautiful.
😏I am loving this...now I know I'm not the only one that has problems with designs when working a project and I'm not as professional as you two. Thanks guys.
Edge? You were well past being comfortable.... and you sailed past it.
Excellent job young sir. Your craft is on point.
Thanks for the video...that is a beautiful bag. Shell brings sparkle to leather
Awesome job as always! Love your work!
I love your enthusiasm. I learn from every video! Thanks for sharing.
I really appreciate that! Thank you
That’s just awesome best bag I’ve seen in a while hopefully one day I get to the same level as you guys
beautiful!! It was a challenge, congratulations!!
Such a beautiful bag
Been sitting on a beautiful piece of Shell for a while now waiting for the right project to come along that I’m willing to use it on. Great video.
You're 1/3 of the way there!
Wow beautiful!! Thanks 😊!!
Good save on the handle!
I get it, I was pretty scared to start cutting into my first Nice hide (w&c bridle) a few months ago. Had only used cheap Tandy veg until that point, I kept putting the project off as long add I could lol
This is amazing. You can tell you put a lot of work into the bag. The person that gets it is going to be very lucky.
Thanks Brutha:)
My God, I want that bag!! I don't need it. I'm retired. Have no real need for it. But....I LOVE it!! You did the most amazing job on that gorgeous bag. 💞
Wow x3 great job great video🎉 that will be my dream project! Thanks for making the attempt and sharing!
Thanks for letting us follow along for this!
Wow. Just wow
That bag is 1000% gorgeous. If I need that type of bag, I’d definitely inquire about getting it!!
Thanks Jeremiah:)
Beautiful!
stunning results! Very impressive and easy on the eyes! Thanks for the entertainment!
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching and commenting:)

From tabuk city, kalinga philippines 3800!
Godbless sir!!
beautiful!
Good stuff thank you for sharing
Absolutely killed it Parker! Absolutely stunning 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Thanks Kyle! You're the man
DAMN not even me making this and my heart was pounding
Why he got it for free.
@@chicagonews1878 oh now he got it for free... I thought he was wealthy and privileged 😂
Free yes but that's a alot of leather to make a mistake on when a company is trusting you to make something that represents what they sell and showcase the quality of their leather
Nice work!
Yes! Damn fine!!
Wow, freaking beautiful!
Unique!!!!!
Loved the problem solving- you guys aced it. Fantastic video, Parker. I can’t wait to make your satchel soon!
Thanks a lot Tanner! Means a lot coming from you especially. Cheers:)
You are a great storyteller, never mind leathercrafter! Thanks for the story!
That's actually a HUGE compliment for me, means a lot! I almost get into the video/storytelling more than the craft sometimes but it's not easy haha Thanks Derek.
@@whitandpark it def. shows!
Awesome job
Great video, keep up the good work!
I want to do a workshop like the tullo is incredible, you should give him a video
In hindsight, I probably should not have been eating breakfast while watching this one ..... waaaaay too much stress!!
Well done ... beautiful job!! 🌺
This looks soooooooo cool !!!
Thanks Omar!
I bought a $80 lot of horse but leather (which is belly straps for some reason) because it tans alongside shell Cordovan for the first 45 ish days of tanning. It is like cement board, I kept breaking strap cutter blades trying to cut it. Not sure what to do with it now. It's still cool to see my tandy in your videos hope to run into one of these days. Great looking bag.
Beautiful bag!! Next time you're in Tandy, have a look at their Tandy Pro stitching pricking irons, They are WAY better than the black ones you guys grabbed.
I'd love to have a shell cordovan straight razor strop!
Yes bro that's such amazing bag.
You're the one who I follow in crafting bro. I'm new in leather craft, one day I'll meet you be friends.
It is very beautiful, Parker!!!
Thank you!!
DUDEEEE I'VE LITERALLY BEEN SO PUMPED AND YOU DID NOT DISAPPOINT
Thanks a lot George, means a lot!
This video was intense. I was like my goodness! When put holds in wrong place.
Amazing crafting, took a break from doing some last minute make up work for my class. Amazing videos like always. I’m going keep working hard and eventually get on TH-cam once I build up the courage to lol.
I look forward to seeing your videos! Thanks Jose:)
Nerve racking.... well done. Nice fix on the handle tabs. Gotta get yourself a leather stretcher. :)
That is beautiful! I would love to order one! And I have the money.!
Great work Parker! I would definitely say that it would be a made to order product as it's so expensive to make. But at the end of the day, remember, there are individuals paying tens of thousands of dollars for leather bags. Cheers buddy!
"The exploration of craft, making mistakes, trying something new…" Absolutely! That's where the endorphins kick in.
You get it;)
Awesome content and a really nice bag to boot
Thanks Blayde:)
I would have just cut out the custom pieces into paper and fit them so I wouldn't waste the shell cord. But my God this was so beautiful. If be crapping my pants if I were to make something let alone a bag with shell cord. Btw what knife are you using? Looks superb!
Amazing bag! What are you using to burnish the sides? I want some of that!
OMG man! It's so much pleasure to watch your videos. Hello from Russia!!!
Thanks so much!!
Thanks from Africa
Awww,Parker get out the chain saw and get R done....lol
That “little king goods” talking head lighting tho!
Absolutely beautiful bag! It's be super cool to collab on a sneaker build!
Great video, what is the proper skin thickness?
Exquisite
I've seen Shell Cordovan and it was a turquoise light blue that you can see down into it. It would take an Ultra HD camera to show what it looks like in person. Wasn't allowed to take it out of its special paper packaging to handle it with my bare hands and at $230 for the +2 square feet in a little circle you would be the same way if you were selling it too. The 1.5 -1.9 square foot ones sell for $199.
They sold 1"x 1" swatches for $10 so I bought one just cuz. LOL
Damn that is beautiful!!
Thanks a lot!
Wow 🤩
Helpful suggestion for your future Shell Cordovan projects.
Should you ever encounter a similar problem with a section of one of your designs while using S.C. due to part of the dimension was slightly off.
It may be financially prudent for you to instead of making a second cut with your revised dimension on the S.C., to instead, first use some of your much less expensive Veg Tan. Yes it would be understood, that this would involve an additional step, but does the “Time out weigh the Extreme Expense” of a second miscalculation of cutting up and wasting an additional piece of the S.C.?
Departing note: Beautiful case !
I suspect that anytime you are working on a prototype there will miss-steps and do-overs. If you were Boeing Aircraft Co. or Ford Motor Company your mistakes could kill people, but you're not. Your skill level and competence is high enough you should always go for it.... Enjoy the learning curve... Beautiful bag.
awesome video. how has it aged?
1.) What software do you use for designing templates and patterns? 2.) What size/weight is the stitching/embroidery thread you used?
Finally got 'er done, nice job! was wondering how you were going to address the thickness......
Thanks Jeffrey
@@whitandpark I just finished your #60 also but need to take some good photos, will tag you on IG
I really liked this video, instructive
but do I have a question?
what is the title of the music at the end of the video: D
Those thread spools should come with a warning lol
hey...u finally did it! :)
Good
What software did you use to make the patterns
I need this. I need this to live. Where can I buy it?
Handle problem. I would have did some of decoration where were handle were.
How quick did you sell it?
This is a beautiful video showing you the skill and the skill of the level maker them selves but for me the bag should be made more regularly because it looks like an executive briefcase but without all of the bullshit that goes with it!
This veteran approves.
If this were 'my' project, I'm certain I would've used the Cordovan as accent only. The material doesn't react well to getting set down on sidewalks and dragged across tile and pavement. Scratch city bro. Satchels in anyone's general use receive punishment. Better to let another veg tan take such abuse, then do repairs as needed. Shell Cordovan is one VERY expensive fix. Looking at your pattern, I'm thinking Shell on everything accept the lower half would've been more cost and time effective. Then again, I always think about the future of the item and repairs. Love the content. Keep up the good work.
Whenever I make a bag out of nice leather(to me, not $1000 nice) I put Sam brown buttons on the bottom to act as little feet.
Is it sold?
Great problem solving Parker and Micheal!! This is a great video!! This is like $75 in leather is a great line!! Good jobs guys!! Classic!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
haha thanks Tim!
