I won tickets listening to K-Rock - I had to be the 92nd caller I think after they played a certain song! It was a surreal & amazing experience, albeit slightly strange atmosphere; it was a week after Princess Diana's death, which the world was still reeling from. I even managed to get tickets to the after party in Bryant Park (I think) & found myself on a table between Marilyn Manson and Chris Rock's tables! 🤯 I think I pinched myself several times that night! Exactly, I remember seeing this video on VH1 Pop up Video, the dark liquid at the end was hydraulic fluid from one of the floor level flat dollies the crew were using to move the set around the singer, they only had one day to shoot, so they had to leave it in the final edit due to the labor intensive nature of shooting the scene.
I performed this song in a middle school talent show in '98, i had the moves and costume and all. Set the stage for my whole high school years. This song will never age.

He's got some disco and reggae influenced songs from time to time too but most of it is funky! Dude was a huge name in the UK for a long time!
