- In this episode I am starting the long trip towards Lima, so I can get out of Peru. Leaving from Lampa, it's 1275 kilometers to Lima. So on this day, we are driving to Chala, about a 660 kilometer drive. We have only limited travel hours due to the curfew and many, many checkpoints along the way.. Will we make it in time??

Exactly and I can relate her distress 100%. When I tried to get out from Indonesia at that very same time, I was so stressed with all those document's/permissions, and even they all should be fine, you're constantly thinking, when some offical will stop your journey.

I just noticed the driver is a volunteer firefighter! Awesome person to travel with. (red firefighter jacket on his seat, radio on the console, and the calm and collected personality gave it away.)

Angels are there when you need them, Noraly. There was the guest house owner, the dutch embassy, the mayor helping you deal with the prejudices against you and now driver Ramiro who took you and Dhanno safe, calm and sound through all the controls to the hotel you managed to book although hotels were closed. You are brave, tough and blessed and i can't wait to see you arrive in the Netherlands!❤🍀🐞

My comment is about Noraly and the fine people who helped her, and about how, as the Beatles put it, 'And in the end, the love you get is equal to the love you give,'. And the authorities are doing a far better job than some westernised nations (including my own country the UK) in enforcing the lockdown and controlling movement - although, from my own understanding, the reasons for being such controls is more to do with differences of available health services and other but IMHO this virus would be less "effective" if EVERYONE maintained proper social distancing and realised that some could be carrying the virus and infecting others (including family/friends) even without showing symptoms.

No, Ramiro is the James Bond, and Q and every other characters for that matter. He's doing all the problem solving. As a native Spanish speaker i can tell you there's more going on in his conversations with the authorities. A lot is being implied in his answers, he is well educated and maybe knowledgeable in law.

Hope the airline will take Dahno.This thing, the COV ID-19 pandemic is going to last for a while. This is just the first cycle/wave. There will be more than one cycle. Our only hope is that the next cycles be shorter and that the amplitude (number of cases) of each cycle be less. This thing will only die off by a lack of targets. Once those, the lucky ones, who got the disease and survived, become immune and make the majority of the population. This will last at least until the end of the year. -- From Montreal, where the weather is slowly getting warmer. We are all told to stay inside. Going out only for the essentials, food or drugs. The authorities would be very happy if we were to get out only once every two weeks. They say next two weeks are critical. Not becoming a target for this disease is priority number one. 😎

I have stop watching other TH-camrs, now I want to finish watching Itchyboots till the end. I was enjoying the beautiful scenic countryside, amazing amazing views, till now I got suspense like watching a movie. I read all the comments and found there are plenty plenty good-hearted people around the world, not to mention Mr Juan and Mr Romero. I guess we will live in peace without the politician ruin our beliefs toward other people. People love you Noraly, the way you love the animal and how you "Cute " them, it makes me feel good. You are a superwoman and I must admit, I lost to your bravery in riding the countryside alone. Now I will continue another of your episode.....

More suspense than a James Bond movie! Is she going to make it? What's going to happen to Dhanno? As a motorcyclist, and having widely travelled as a geologist, needing permits, through checkpoints, dealing with corruption, I know exactly what you are going through. All you can do is plan as much as you can, rely on a trustworthy local, and live on your wits. I've never quite been in your situation, but I know how stressful this is. I used to work for a Dutch dredging company so I have many Dutch friends. Fingers crossed you get back to Holland.

This is why the US will have a high death rate, people here couldn’t handle a curfew and checkpoints to get around, but these measures will help stop the spread

This is unbelievable. So crazy! The interesting thing is that my wife and I were traveling from the States and we were in Athens Greece at the very same time. Cut our trip short and barely made it home. Then we discovered that we had friends stuck in Peru with their family of children. Took them weeks to get home.

A friend of mine pointed me to your videos and girl can I empathize with what you are going through. I am a nomad too (an a motorcyclist but not right now), stuck in a much better situation and country (New Zealand) and I can't even imagine what I would have done facing so much irrational hostility. And it was already hard explaining to people our voluntarily homeless lifestyle, or the fact that the world was our home, but now that all the borders are closed and flights are blocked, the fact that people can't even fathom not being attached to a country or not having a permanent home to stay is really stressful. And yet, if there is one thing that this virus should teach us is that it shouldn't matter which country your were born or where you live right now: this is a human virus, we are affected as a species, and one of the reasons why it hits us so badly is precisely because we are divided and inconsistent in our response to it. Anyway, good luck on your journey to the Netherlands, I hope your bike is going to make it to the other side. I am going to go watch your other videos now. I'm sending you all the good vibes.
