I am from the USA and married to a Peruvian. I am blessed to have experienced many of these wonderful treats Peru has to offer. We return to Peru twice a year and try to experience the food of a different region on each trip. Gordon thank you for showing the world a bit of my second country-Rick and David
What I like about Gordon is that he's a good actor. He acts tough on shows that require toughness, and gentle on shows where his normal energy suffices. He's also very good with kids. This is why he can appear on any show and leave a mark.
Having spent some time travelling Peru recently, I can tell you their food is extremely unique, hearty and beyond delicious. The organic and freshness that country enjoys and how they utilize what they have available to them is jaw dropping. Thanks for the video, the views and triggering some great memories!

It would have been amazing to see them make strawberry wine! I love fruits and will now have to add Peru to my list of countries to visit! Beautiful country!
I've done over 1200 half marathons around the world and Mr Gordon has given it a tremendous try. It's very difficult at different sea levels, I myself have only finished 3 of those 1200 half marathons because I didn't understand the altitude and because most of those I ran the wrong way and ended up finishing at the start line. It takes a lot of training and i'm proud of mr gorden.
As I grew up in the mountains of Nepal, I can say that the main flavors come from the wood fire and those mud-stone ovens. And, of course, all the ingredients from the high altitudes grow very slowly. It’s always the slow process that gives the better taste.
