Mentally Beauty comes off as mature as Bagheera. She is so self assured but she is great with others, and excellent with the youngsters. She is worth every penny
Arlo is steady, comfortable, easy going. He is smart, but he keeps it to himself. He never wants to be the obvious lead, not the last out. He just wants to fit in. He makes a great companion for humans and other younger horses. Both the fillies are comfortable with him. He is a “smooth operator”. 😅 Arlo is steadfast, beautiful, kind and good in the show ring too. I love Arlo. 👍🥰♥️
Mushu is an all round sweet, playful, curious, willing and affectionate young horse. He is growing into a marvelous asset for FSE, picking up new skills and wanting lots of praise. He has a great character. He is easy to love and love back! 👍🥰♥️
I completely agree!!! I’d LOVE to see this trainers methods!!! Or at least other horses trained by them. The previous trainer (and Shae, obviously!!) deserve some SERIOUS recognition.
I LOVE it that you believe in riding without a bridle. You need to be riding a horse with whom you have a close connection, but when it clicks it's wonderful.

Arlo is such a dream horse to me. A horse that doesnt spook or buck, that is as safe as a horse will get, is called "aunt horse" or "old lady horse" here in Sweden. Arlo sure is an Auntie ❤️

I told her to find a Gypsy cob to ride while over there. She was super excited after watching your videos. She really loves his “hairy legs” I explained they’re called feather. Beauty was aptly named.She's beautiful & moves beautifully too. It made me feel so happy when you sbowed her at auction, & then were able to buy her. ❤️ And today I noticed how intelligent & gentle Arlo's eyes are. Watching him in slo-mo shows how fluid & beautiful he is in motion, and his tail looks great too, the way he holds it up just a bit, showing off his elegant tail.
I am 66 now. Riding and training of horses has changed alot in the last 50 or so years. I used to ride my horse bareback alot with a neck rope and bridle. One day I went to fetch him at the bottom of our land so I could feed him early. All I took was a halter with a short rope. I decided that I would get on him because I was too lazy to lead him all the way back to the stables. Well I got on him and with one big buck I was straight off. He galloped off and it took me awhile to get back to the stable where he was looking at me as though to say "what took you so long!"
You are such an exceptional rider. Today was such a joy to watch! I know your mission but I'd never be able to stick to it like you do. Good for you..I'm impressed. Thank you!

Hi Shae, it’s so inspiring to see you ride bridleless and the tender way you train and take care of your horses. I’ve seen shocking videos of cruel dressage training and competing with such tight reins that pull the horses heads too far down and cause pain and nerve damage. I don’t understand how people can treat their horses that way and how the international dressage community accepts and even rewards it. I haven’t ridden since I was a child but I love horses and your channel. Keep up the joyful work🎉🎉
Beauty honestly ASTOUNDS me. I have never seen a four year old this well adjusted, responsive and kind. She isn't just trained very well, she is what I call a Guardian horse (I only ever rode two of those myself) because she isn't just in tune with her rider, you can tell she's trying really hard to make sure you're safe and happy on her back. When you opened your arms like that...an old memory of doing the same on my heart horse Tara many years ago came back to me and it felt just like flying...like tasting freedom. Idk if I'm making sense but I want to thank you for bringing back that memory for me. Bless you, dear Shae, and all sharing your roof, be it in the house or your barn.
A wonderful session with 3 wonderful horses! The instruction for bridleless riding is so informative and flowed from start to finish with each horse. It was an important caveat to remind the rider there is an inherent danger to riding bridleless and must be done with great consideration of both the skills and knowledge of horse and rider. In this skill trust of each participant is a must. Thank you for bringing this lesson today with 3 different horses and different skill comfort. All the horses were amazing, bc the rider knew the skill inside and out and has tremendous trust with all these 3 horses. The trust with Beauty is so encouraging bc she is a new horse in the stable. But it goes to show how well Shae knows horses and her instincts are incredibly sharp too. One nice note regarding this session to add is; how lovely to see the ease and comfort Arlo and Kyle show between them. There is a definite connection there! 🥰🥰♥️♥️

I don’t understand how people can treat their horses that way and how the international dressage community accepts and even rewards it. Beauty honestly ASTOUNDS me. I have never seen a four year old this well adjusted, responsive and kind. She isn't just trained very well, she is what I call a Guardian horse (I only ever rode two of those myself) because she isn't just in tune with her rider, you can tell she's trying really hard to make sure you're safe and happy on her back. When you opened your arms like that...an old memory of doing the same on my heart horse Tara many years ago came back to me and it felt just like flying...like tasting freedom. Idk if I'm making sense but I want to thank you for bringing back that memory for me. Bless you, dear Shae, and all sharing your roof, be it in the house or your barn.

A wonderful session with 3 wonderful horses! The instruction for bridleless riding is so informative and flowed from start to finish with each horse. It was an important caveat to remind the rider there is an inherent danger to riding bridleless and must be done with great consideration of both the skills and knowledge of horse and rider. In this skill trust of each participant is a must. Thank you for bringing this lesson today with 3 different horses and different skill comfort. All the horses were amazing, bc the rider knew the skill inside and out and has tremendous trust with all these 3 horses. The trust with Beauty is so encouraging bc she is a new horse in the stable. But it goes to show how well Shae knows horses and her instincts are incredibly sharp too.
One nice note regarding this session to add is; how lovely to see the ease and comfort Arlo and Kyle show between them. There is a definite connection there! 🥰🥰♥️♥️

You use a lot of love and positive reinforcement in your training. And you take really good care of the horses. You stand out from the many equestrian channels out there as one of the best.
