Thanks P6. The 1st motorcade wasn't Walz, Vance or the VP. The Gov is in Macon, GA. Vance is in Pittsburgh, PA & the VP is in Lansing, MI. It's the mystery motorcade. Your bowl looked delicious and the pizza looked devine. President Biden is going in & out twice today. trump as well. Your pics were great. Hope they get picked up. I notice that the vice president's motorcade used to have an ambulance, but recently they seem to have taken it away. Now that security is being increased, did she get the ambulance back?
The VP usually doesn't have an ambulance, but she does usually have a HAMMER unit (the black ambulance looking vehicle). However, there are only so many HAMMER teams and they are spread a bit thin so sometimes you see her motorcade without one. Trump now has a HAMMER team in his motorcades as well. (HAMMER is HAZMAT/EMT/SWAT team)
That's one thing I've always hated about living in D.C. all my life, is being in the wrong place at the wrong time, which is when and wherever the President is moving! I'm talking about having to sit in traffic for longer than 30 minutes in advance before the motorcade even passes, lol! I always tell people that's one way to know if it's gonna be the President before he even passes, by if the road is blocked, even though they will do it for certain ither people, too. After that, you can tell by the particular vehicles that are in the motorcade. Nonetheless, that Presidential traffic sucks, especially for Suitland Parkway. It's only worthwhile when it's a President that you actually like. For me, that'll be Trump!

Staff, press, friends, etc. With Trump's motorcade the campaign arranges most of the private vehicles and Secret Service handles Trump himself and security teams. With the formal POTUS and VP motorcade the Secret Service arranges the motorcades so you only see US government vehicles.
The trump speech didn’t interest me. But it was a great learning experience to see these events through your lens. I cannot imagine what Inauguration Day will be like.
