I started to straighten my hair at a really young age 'cause I didn't know how to take care of it and all my friends had straight hair. It has been 5 years that I've embraced my natural hair and I was so pleasantly surprise by how beautiful my hair is now 💕
Same!❤️ my mom and gran always said that girls look better with straight hair, so I straightened it my entire childhood. And I’m talking EVERYDAY! Now, I haven’t touched my hair with any heat for over 3 years and I’ve just learnt the curly girl method and I’m loving it 😍😍
Gorgeousss and that length suits her!! My hair isnt as curly but its thin and frizzy and i obsessively straighten it- i'm living for her curly transformation 😍
When my hair was straight (chemical or heat) it lacked a lot of volume. Once I started wearing my hair curly (straight once every 12-16 weeks), it now has tons of volume. I shampoo (gentle sulfate or a non-sulfate) and deep condition my hair every week and it's in the best condition ever! I also apply a leave in every day even if its just a light mist so my hair isn't weighed down. Frizz is your hair's way of saying that it's too dry and it's swelling up to grab any moisture in the air from humidity. If you live in a desert area, there would be less frizz because there is very little humidity and moisture in the air.
your hair is probably wavy! try mousse and the curly girl method. i do the “squish to condish” technique (you can do it upside down or upright) and scrunch in the mousse. let it dry completely and then scrunch/fluff to break the cast. boom! waves
Thank you for this... Finally someone who was real in her transformation! This was a real routine that someone can follow and not just styled hair that look got but later people don't know how to manage
I’ve been straightening and putting a lot of heat my hair/ doing braids since I was really young. And over quarantine I started wearing my hair natural. I’m really happy and I love my curls so much. I’m still learning and I do have damage but it’s going well so far
I’m so jealous that the stylists hair is only in half ponytails and they’re that thick 😂 those two mini ponies would be like if I put all my hair in two ponies
Rebecca Ard for me personally I just did a big chop twice and my hair got super curly. Idk about a curly cut I feel like those are expensive. But hey she was happy and that’s all that matters! She’s embracing something that many of us curly heads have been ashamed of because of society.
Her curls definitely show signs of damage from her previous styles and hair care but I guarantee with some curly products she’ll get them back! Love to see it!😍
@@selinasesshy yeah exactly. Heat and chemical damage can cause thinness at the ends but not sparseness at the root like that. I would imagine this is a hormonal issue.
One of the best they’ve done! Her hair looks GREAT! She looks amazing, and the stylist was knowledgeable and skilled. just one beautifully well done naturally curly hair transformation. Great job!!!
i would love this stylist to make a video on how to treat you hair on a daily basis: how often do you have to wash it in the week, when do you have to comb your hair and how often? what hairstyle can you do if you don’t want to wear them without a scrunchie (open), just things to make sure you are treating your hair well and healthy
Love when ppl get hair transformations. A hair cut really does benefit the transformation. Good work ❤️ and I learned some tips for my own curly hair . I recently got a dry cut also. Loving it 💕

I have very wavy hair and when I got 6 inches taken off, my hair sprung up into a beautiful s curl and I was so happy to see that! Rocking the curly girl :)
It kinda looks like the model has some form of traction alopecia very mild. It may have come from the color over the years. Some follicles may just be very weak. Also her hair may be heat damage Feom the straightening. Overall the stylist did good for what it’s worth
zoot boot agree and alopecia also comes in many forms. It will literally kill the hair at the root. But hey we never know because it’s not like she will tell us lol I hope it fills back in for her once she leave the heat alone. Most high medications can take hair out like that as well.....side note I’ve been in my mothers salon way too long working with her. I’m starting to sound like her🤦🏾♀️

she clearly hair fall you can see at the roots, she should check her thyroid hormones. If she has everything check up with a doctor there are some topic drugs that work. I know that sometimes that's a cause of stuggle for a lot of women but in this case there are some options thankfully.
@@MT-zm1yb not typically. a thyroid condition typically happens because the thyroid attacks itself. i have hashimotos, a type of thyroid disease, and the only way to handle it is with medication. it also requires a lot of upkeep, i have to take medication daily and go in to get my hormones checked every 3-6 months. but it is so worth it. my hair, my skin, my body, the way that i feel, it is all so much better than a few years ago. i first found out i had a thyroid condition because i lost about 20% of my body weight in 3 months (i was already naturally skinny around 60 lbs at 12 years old), so we got it checked and yep, my hormones were out of balance. another option is just to remove the thyroid altogether, but you still have to supplement hormones even then i believe. but it's an internal condition and you can't naturally fix it (it's genetic basically)
I lost my curls due to me straighten it almost every week. So I shaved everything and 3 years later I'm rocking my natural curls and no longer straighten my hair

People who feed their fervor are amazing. I have a stylist who loves what she does and it shows.
A stylist who is both educated in CGM and sometimes wears her hear straight? We love to see it 🥰
She’s not using the CGM though.
Rebecca Ard the CGM is a choice, you don’t need to follow it to have healthy curly hair
Daria_85 no not all of it, but I wanted to correct Hannah.
CGM?
; The Tongue Of Angels curly girl method
This stylist clearly knew what she is doing. Going curly takes a lot of teaching so getting in with someone knowledgeable is sure a great route.

If you start figuring out what your hair likes and treating it well, the frizz might actually be curls!!

If she continues to take care of her hair it will get curler. I'm so happy she decided to go curly.
Yes! I wonder what would happen if she actually got a curly hair cut. This isn’t the CGM and the cut was a straight cut, not a curly cut.

Does anyone else think the client is losing her hair? Hopefully she's been to her doctor for testing. Could be her thyroid.
Yes I'm a stylist and I noticed she has very thin hair especially compared to the earlier photos she showed.
It could also be how she's treating her hair. I'd like to see it like a year from now
It looks like hormonal hair thinning to me mine is like this as well.
@@selinasesshy yeah exactly. Heat and chemical damage can cause thinness at the ends but not sparseness at the root like that. I would imagine this is a hormonal issue.
