DDP sits silent through most of the talk,
only adding to nuisances to the conversion.
He's not a showman, a whistler, but a true true friend that all of us could ever wish to have in our own lives.

Why is the camera focused on the interviewer? We want to see the wrestlers and director speaking and interacting.

I am so happy to see Jake Roberts and especially Scott Hall because of his impact on me because he was my favorite worker and I had the pleasure of meeting him when I was 16 years old in Vegas after Holloween Havoc. He had a beer in his hand, but he was very nice to me and even took a picture. These are good people, who live as a Combination of a Athlete and a Rockstar for years and I don't think anyone who has never faced addiction understands "It can happen to anyone "
I know the film is primarily about Jake, but I have to say that Scott Hall sounds 100% better than when I heard him in Snake Bitten or the 30-30 docs. He sound clear of mind and articulate. Great to see both of these guy move in the right direction. Very thankful DDP stepped in and was willing to give up so much to help Jake and Scott.

Great interview/er
I didn't think "Beyond the Mat" portrayed Jake that badly. It showed an emotional side I hadn't seen before with Jake and his real-life hurt and remose on how he treated his family. Then again I don't know the whole story and what was edited out or tweaked that upset Jake. On the other hand, I think "On the Road: Jake the Snake Roberts" (RF DVD series)", portrayed Jake in a much worse light. Although there were funny moments, it showed a washed up, very drunk and high, perverted, and at times mean Jake Roberts that I wish I didn't know about. If there is any documentary he should be embarassed and ashamed of its that one.
too bad Jake abandoned his friends who were there for him through everything.
