3:57 Is it possible to remove the seats completely and put a storage system in there? For travel it would certainly be a more efficient use of space than have empty back seats there.
Nice work mate. Keeping it simple but very useful mods that are not too expensive. Your installation was professionally done. I like to watch the full build from start to finish.
That would be awesome mate! I’m open to suggestions for sure! I don’t get notifications on comments after the first one so feel free to send me a message on Instagram or my email. @northozphotography for Insta. A meet up would be preferable for the next month or 2 with this heat 😂
Hey mate! I keep forgetting they are there when cruising now so I have to get used to them. They are good though. I’ve seen a few of your vids keep up the good work. Love the content 👍
Another great video, have you thought about putting the cost of these modifications in the video as well. The 79 is looking great, keep up the good work.
I’ll definitely do that, I didn’t think about that. I’m making a walkaround video in the next week so I’ll do that then with how much I’ve spent on it in total 👍
There is another guy in town that made a video on his red 79. Ripped out the whole interior and did full insulation, centre console and head unit. Looks like it has a six inch lift, too.
Nice! I may still do sound deadening but I’ll ask around to see if it’s worthwhile as it is quite expensive and time consuming from what I can tell. 6 inch lift is crazy!!
Once again, thank you for another great video. This may sound a bit sad but I recently went to a 4 Wheel Drive show, saw a 79 series and excitedly pointed out to my friends, how solid the door handles were 😐
I would get an GME xrx uhf and put behind the dash. A super unit. Dont waste centre consul . I keep other things like plb in centre consul easy to reach.
Hi there Marc, I hope you are doing well and I've also hope you have had a good Christmas too just gone. I have also uploaded 3 videos so far at the moment on my TH-cam channel. Later on this afternoon I will be camping at Mt Monster' South East. I will be doing a video on that as well. And hopefully by Saturday. I will then Upload it. Cheers mate from William. Good to hear bill! My Christmas was great thank you. I hope you had a good Christmas too. I’ll have a look at the channel today 👍 Enjoy your trip and enjoy the process of TH-cam. It’s a learning curve but it’s a lot of fun!
I like that you've been quite selective with your interior upgrades - I think some people go a bit over the top, but you've kept it pretty simple and focused only on a few practical things that add value 👍There's one more thing that I highly recommend and have in my 76 - the Lightforce LED interior light panel upgrade. It's only about $80, easy to install and transforms the interior lighting in the 70 series (which is very weak from factory with just a tiny incandescant bulb to light the whole interior).
Thank you for the kind words. I’ll look into that for sure. I was thinking last night how dull the bulb was in there. Especially as there is only 1 light for the whole cab 👍

It sure is and many have done it before. It’s a decent spot for a lot of equipment. People have put drawers in there too there’s that much room

Thanks mate! I appreciate that. Your comment made my day 👍
Always a great day when you upload mate!! Love the work
That just made my day 🤝
11:58 Is there also a version without the cuholder? I rate cars by how few cupholders they have😂
😂
There is one made by Touring Essentials in Brisbane .
Loving the content, how about a Cairns meet up and camp?

Mate, I ordered some One Stone armrests today also! They seem to be nice. Great vid mate. Thanks.

@NorthOz Thankyou I appreciate that hugely! I really enjoy your content aswell. Keep hustling 💪
If you put a 1/2 canopy on back behind rear seat would be perfect to place 12v system.
Good thinking Richard. I reckon you are right! Heaps of room there for a decent 12v setup 👌

@@NorthOz Have you done an off road test yet or is that something that you are looking at later on.

I sound detonated my doors on my 200 series, and the music sounds way better
Looks great
Thank you 👍
I love..."kids, whatever"...😂

Thanks mate! How good are the handles 😂
@@NorthOz I know right!

Good thinking Richard! Keep an eye out for an upcoming video. I ended up buying a xrs unit and just finished installing it last night 👍
what happened to the patrol
I ended up selling it. I restored it to a point where it was road worthied and working well 👍 Very happy with how it turned out

How much for all the Interior Mods 👍
Hi mate! I haven’t added it all up yet. I’m doing a walkaround video in the next few days so I’ll add it up and mention it then 👍
