    I just ordered the Bluetti EB3A a couple days ago from their web site after comparing to the AC2A. The EB3A is on sale almost 30% off right now (right now only $10 more than the AC2A). It has 63 more WH (more than 25% more) plus it has a light on it, and it's only 1" bigger in one direction. Only thing is, like the AC2A, if you want a 12V car charger you have to order that separately for $10, and it does charge a bit slower. But the EB3A has a 600W inverter vs. 300W in the AC2A. It also has a wireless phone charger on top, where the AC2A does not have that. But it's very similar generally speaking. So for me, it's on such super sale right now, it was the better value for my needs. But both look like great choices. 😊
    I'm hoping a great use for it is to run a 12V electric blanket from time to time at night in colder temperatures. We'll see.

    Started watching your videos about 18 months ago, just subscribed, took me so long mostly because I couldn’t figure out how to do it on my TV and that’s where I watch all my videos. Anyways, great stuff, great channel. Enjoy your videos

    Thank you for the video, very informative, I bought this one as back up, this is perfect for running a diesel heater and a few extra devices at night, the next day I just connect the solar panels to it and charge during the day, its such a great device.

    Really great points. Agree 100% that 12V cord should be included. But at that price point definitely think it's a manufacturing cost thing. Good job brother.

    The high solar input is a sweet bonus. I’m almost tempted to get one.
    By itself it’s $179 and in bundle with pv200 solar panel it $578. They want $400 for the solar panel

    Great video. Just a note: with UPS pass through, it seems like your camera batteries and things may be being charged using a modified sine wave from your gladiator instead of the pure sine wave supported from the Bluetti inverter. I could be wrong though. If you have the equip to test that, that would be useful info to pass on. Thx.

    Considering the cost of these units (most upper-end brands), it seems kinda chincy (imo) on Bluetti's part to not include a 12v adapter/charger. Good review though 👍

    Is this AC2A still working for you? I only ask because if it can take in modified sine wave and output sine wave and not degrade, it’s a perfect accessory for vehicles and generators with integrated modified sine wave inverters.

    Can you help explain how you are getting the Bluetti’s to run the HCALORY heater through startup. My heater shuts down during startup when using DC input. AC converter works fine. I noticed you get them to run fine. Not sure if it’s the cord you are using or what but I’m at a loss. Thanks!! As always thanks for your videos!

      Turbo mode. It allows it to ramp up through the 12v to a higher wattage pull. If that doesn't work, a lot of people will have the vehicle start the heater and then swap it over once it's warm

    • @OzarkOverlandAdventures
      @OzarkOverlandAdventures  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In my experience the diesel heaters are inconsistent. I have one Vevor that will run off any power station I plug it into. I have another Vevor that is very picky about what power station I run it with.
      Turbo does nothing to boost the 12v.

    Personally I use a Ecoflow River Pro 2 in my RTT because I have a CPAP. This Bluetti doesnt seem much smaller than that River Pro 2 while being super handicapped compared to that Ecoflow.

    • @ARLGD
      @ARLGD 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In my experience, having a reliable power source like the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series can really enhance your outdoor adventures. It offers massive capacity, powerful output, and fast recharging, all in a compact and rugged design. Plus, its waterproof technology and comprehensive protections ensure peace of mind in any weather condition. Definitely worth considering for your outdoor gear and backup power needs!

    • @Mrbluedude73
      @Mrbluedude73 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @user-hh6ex9md4w Ecoflow powerstations are pretty powerful and reliable in my experience. I also dont worry all that much about power like most overlanders because my Powerboost F-150 has a 7.2kw inverter that allows me to charge all of my Ecoflow powerstations at their full A/C charging potential simultaneously while I drive.
      Even my Delta Max is fully topped off after a short drive and while at camp if I have power demands greater than 500 watts I generally will start the truck in generator mode and run the load directly off the truck. I generally do all my cooking via electric grills so you can see where that invertor becomes especially useful. I also barely use fuel to run the truck in generator mode, and I have no range anxiety because my truck has a 30.6 gallon tank.
      Anyways, back to my main point, I would rather have 700 watt hours of battery power to charge my phone, iPad and any other small USB load as well as run my CPAP considering that the form factor of the River Pro 2 seems to not be much bigger than that Bluetti power station that only offers 200 watt hours.

      Now, I hesitated between the River 2 Pro and the Bluetti AC70 (1000W/768Wh) and after some comparisions, the bluetti ac70 is less expensive and more powerful than the River 2 Pro.

    • @Mrbluedude73
      @Mrbluedude73 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @louloupro88 fair enough, my main point was why go with a 200 wh powerstation if you can go with a 700+wh station for roughly the same size factor.

  • @tadnauseum
    @tadnauseum 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

    An editor's note (respectfully) : if you have money for drones and overland vehicles and $200 chargers that aren't your main charger, just something nice for inside the tent, etc then you have money to have your videos edited. Replay exactly how much of your audience's time you dedicated to plugging in your watch. Decide if they should be given back that time. Respectfully, sincerely, you provide a worthwhile service showing off overland gear. Perhaps more conscious editing will also benefit your viewers. (Be well).

      Thank you for telling me how much money I have and how to spend it (respecfully). I'm sorry you can't handle the 10 seconds I talked about my apple watch but I'm demonstrating how real people would actually use this power station and many of my viewers appreciate my level of detail. I went to your channel to find some stunning examples of editing and for some reason didn't find any. 😂 I wasted more time reading and replying to your comment than you did watching me plug in my apple watch. Perhaps more conscious editing of your comments will benefit your readers.
