@@Tom_pr Oh it's just gonna be another modern sports car. Probably bland and automatic like the A90. If it comes with a manual, then it could be awesome, but who knows in 2020.
Great video, guys! I’m in Montreal and just got a 91 Beat of my own. It’s really quite a fun car and turns heads everywhere! I did sit behind the wheel of a Cappuccino shortly before taking delivery of my car and my knees were literally pressing against the lower dash. I feel there’s quite a bit more interior space in the Beat, but perhaps had I actually driven the Cap I’d have bought that instead. I wasn’t sure it was worth the extra money though.
siver1080, how tall are you? I’m around 1.9 meter /6’3”...I’ve been looking at Beats, and I would love a cappuccino, but wonder if I would hit my knees, which sounds like it would be an issue
@@nitronixus9402 Kei-car comes from the word "keijidosha". It's not spelled "kijidosha" or "kiijidosha", so it is not pronounced like "key" in English.
5:02 "It [Suzuki] has a bigger trunk". - This is only conditionally true. If you take the two T-Top pieces out, and place them in the trunk, even without the Targa piece- the Beat then has the bigger trunk. In other words, if you ever take the top off the Capp- you've now sacrificed your entire trunk. The beat has a tiny trunk, but it's always available. FWIW~
Ive heard people say that the beat is more spacious, but tall people still have problems with their knees hitting the steering wheel, so some people get a smaller aftermarket wheel instead
It said just like the letter k... Not "key" car
My dad has a beat, bloody brilliant little thing
KAY.
Fun video though.
Your right Kei Kuruma
I wish Suzuki and Isuzu would use their engineering skills to team up with Honda build a new Mid-engined sports coupe as an S2000 successor
The S2k doesn't need a successor. Modern cars suck anyway.
Honda have made the S660 which is essentially an updated Beat
@@willwastaken S2K is coming back soon.
@@Tom_pr Really?!

Kei cars are pronounced "kay" cars in Japan, not "key" cars.

These suckers cost a fortune (for what they are) in Canada. Wonder if you could fit a LS in it? ;-)
@Daver G are there any sites that you can point me towards to import one
@@alxuria I got mine from a site called carfromjapan

I'm 6 3 185lbs would I fit better into the Beat or Cappu?? Thanks

I stopped watching after the first few seconds of him saying "Key" car. That right there automatically tells me they know nothing about "Key" cars.
I want one buts hard to which pick one
Takumis lil nightmare
Both those cars are great swapping in superbike engines making them superbike kei cars.
