I love what Be Curly does for your waves. Very beachy and soft looking. I used the line 20 years ago when I worked in Aveda salon and then the last formula just didn’t work for my hair at all, it did have silicones in it though…so not sure if that was the issue. Hmmm….might be headed to Aveda for a little review myself. ❤
Ahhh, Jolie! How cool that you worked in an Aveda salon! That explains your expertise. 💖 it’s interesting that it didn’t work for your hair type either, which I believe is looser and less coarse than my pattern.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK my hair is finer and thinner than yours, but I think I may have a bit more curl. I have everything from 2-a to 3-a on my head. Don't be too impressed, I was the receptionist and shop girl. I did know the products pretty well back then, but they have changed a lot since then.
I used the be curly line in the past. Thank you for reviewing the renewed products. I used to use the gel but it started to irritate the skin on my forehead. I always loved the fragrance ❤ I am a 3 plus 2. I’ve been intrigued by the Fenty hair line.
Interesting about the gel. Did you break out a little? I’m very sensitive to that with gels and sprays. I’ve been curious about Fenty, too. I just haven’t had a chance yet to learn more. I can add it to the list 💖💖
My hair looks quite similar to yours. I have been a 2B/2C curl girl, but lately it's as straight as sticks. Probably because it's SO long and pulling out any curl. I think I'll get a trim and then try this. Thank you.
Your hair looks fabulous! My hair is about a 3a. Would love to try these products but sooo pricey. I use the Verb line. I have their curly shampoo and conditioner, the Ghost heat protection primer cream and the foaming gel. Love all these products. In the summer months I have added a glaze over of the Quidad Climate control gel which really works well in the humidity. Great review of Aveda!
Thank you!! I’ve tried a few Verb products and liked them very much. I liked the Ghost Oil and purple toned products. Thanks for the product suggestions. 💖
I have used be curly in the past. I have hair very similar to yours. Somewhat fine textured ringlet type curls. It’s not as long or thick as yours, and it’s even lighter silver. It is also dry- I try not to wash it more than twice a week. Tough in the hot humid summer where I live. I remember a be curly styling gel, but not a cream. 🤷🏼♀️Must not have been fabulous because I stopped using it. I’m currently using the Bumble and Bumble hairdressers oil as a primer, because it has a UV protector, to help keep my hair from oxidizing (turning yellow.) I wish the new Aveda primer had this.. I would totally try it if it did. For styling I’m loving the Ouidad featherlight cream and the bi phase restore and revive spray. I don’t need as much humidity control and UV protection in the fall/winter, so I’ll come back to your links and give the styling cream a try in October! I appreciate your reviews…I wondered what you were using on your hair as it is so similar to mine.
Great comment! I don’t remember trying the Be Curly Gel but I loved B&B hairdressers oil. Thank you for reminding me of it! I’ll be in the market shortly.
Hi Beth, your hair looks beautiful 👩🏻🦳🤗 hubby and I are going to Syracuse, NY soon, would I see these products at Ulta? If not, any recommendations as to where I can find them? Thank you 🙏🏼 loved the video and looking forward to the next one 🥰 have an awesome week 🎉
Hello!! Have fun in Syracuse! I think you might find them in a salon advertising Aveda products. I bought mine at a mall with a stand alone Aveda store. Those are my best guesses-I’m not sure I’ve seen Aveda at Ulta. It’s definitely not at Sephora.
Hello! Yes, sorry for not being more clear. I was referencing Cecred, Beyoncé’s brand nice done two reviews-a review after one week of use and then a follow up with a ranking. I’ve also ordered their newly released conditioner, which I will review. Take a look at my recent videos and you’ll find the reviews. Thank you!!
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK uhhh, yeah, as far as my limited experience?! 😆 your hair has more body and fullness than mine, especially at the crown, so that's always my challenge
I’m very curious to try this. I have the same hair type as you, but dark brunette since I’m 26. My mom has similar hair as well (silver hair), and maybe this won’t be too strongly scented, I’ve been looking for good products she could use since she needs low or or no/natural fragrance in her products. Also, Did you find the gel lost definition the next day after styling? It seems many influencers have mixed results. Some say it’s great and some say it only looks good on the first day then next morning it’s lost all definition/not humidity proof.
The s ent is lovely and Aveda only uses natural ingredients so I hope it’s okay for your mom. The gel has moderate hold, but I did find it gave me soft definition in the most humid of conditions no need the primer first, tho. The gel alone isn’t enough. 💖💖
Hey Beth - Is your hair cut specifically to be worn curly (even though you also wear it straight)? I can never tell if my actual cut is working for or against my waves, and inspiration pictures of casual textured hair seem to be hard to come by.
Hi Robin! I have my hair cut by a person who also has curly hair, so we cut it to handle both. My stylist knows how to do that, but I’m not sure how to explain it. I have gotten butterfly or “C cuts” that seem to work both ways. Hope this helps 💖
Looks great! I cut some hair off above my shoulders layered I regret it Im gonna grow it back to the length it ws Basically urs I might try tht line Never used Aveeda b4 I usually use drugstore brands but maybevIll treat myself Have a great week ❤
Hi Beth, my hair is very similar in texture to yours only mine is shorter. I purchased the Aveda products for the first time last week. My hairdresser suggested invati advanced shampoo and conditioner because my hair is fine and the be curly advanced primer for the curls. These products are the best I have tried yet and yes they are pricey, but well worth it. My hair normally wants to frizz and now with Aveda my hair is very soft and the curls are not frizzy. I would highly recommend Aveda to anyone thinking of giving them a try.
@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Beth, that’s a great idea! Travel sizes are always a nice way to try something. I thought your hair looked so pretty. Have a great week.💕
The Gel is the best I have ever used - it gives me both definition and volume - could either but never both together before
Thank you for sharing your experience! I’m really loving it. 🥰
Thanks for your input....my hair is very similar to yours, colour and length and curl. Watching from Australia.
Hello! 💖 thank you for the kind comment. 😘
I looove the definition the gel gives my hair. I have 3 c and 4a curls, without the crunch
Thank you so much for sharing your experience 💖💖💖

@@InfinitegardenbyBethK Not bad for a travel size! I’m going to order these products. I really thought your hair looked beautiful!
I never understood exactly what a primer does. Is it like a leave in, is there any hold?
In this case I feel like it’s a detangler (critical step for me) and I also feel like it works as a leave-in conditioner. It’s just very light weight.
And no hold-just hydration and slip.
