is there any other option besides splitting into tables?
I would like my document to consist of two pages side by side. Completely separate pages and the document was enlarging/lengthening downwards.

Aw, should have guessed only a table can do this and not a simple button in columns..
So outdated.
Pretty sure a phone app from 2010 could do better.
