Reallly would like to know how to add pages and page numbers . This was an excellent tutorial but missed a few points for me, I am a senior and want to print out a 150 page book. So many videos and pages and yours was the best. Do you have another video that explains the Intro page, cover and adding page numbers.. I am sure i will figure it out but I was hopinng for a part 2. LOL Great job! I was even able to write down some steps. TY

Setting the page layout to Book Fold is okay for a brochure with only a few pages, that's going to be printed, folded, and stapled together. It doesn't work for actual books. To format for a book, choose Mirror Margins.
The problem I encountered was when I printed both sides is that while you can format page one to start on the right side so when you flip page 2 & 3 are on the opposite side, the problem occurs when printing is that page 4 would need to be on the left side of page 1. Same goes for subsequent pages If I print pages 5 & 6 on one side then pages 7 & 8 will appear on the other and that doesn't work when page 8 is at the back of page 5. How would you format it so this wouldn't happen?
Okay, but what about printing multiple pages per sheet of paper (ie a pocket sized book)? I can’t figure this out for the life of me. Every time I go through this I end up with vertical columns (pages), and changing to landscape just rotated this layout 90° (so the columns/pages are still really long, just horizontally so).
I wite pamplets in 4 X 6 size, facing pages. I want to create booklets to self print on my HP ColorLaser Jet printer. I try and do this in Affinity Publisher When I try to get the booklet to create I get a print workflow error. Any ideas there. I also want to learn how to setup ebooks. Any help appreciated. This is for my congregation use not trying to make my first Million, Hi.

How do you insert page numbers?
Go to "Insert", then above "Header & Footer", click "Page Number" and I think you can do the rest yourself :)
