And at that time it was struggle for power all over india. So between 1707 to 1853 , marathas ruled india. The mughals rule was over. But it was the same story Babur was invited to India, to defeat lodhis Likewise abdali was invited to India to defeat the marathas. The three battles of panipat never went in favor of India especially hindus. Bad luck prevailed throughout. And the invaders never missed the opportunity.

In my response, the first comment I would like to make here is that due to my upbringing and education, English is my strongest language. Does that somehow make English the language of North Indian Hindus (and Jains) and Muslims, if some of them can speak and comprehend English better? If Zubin Mehta becomes more proficient at speaking English than Gujarati, does that make English the language of his people? If Arab Muslims and Arab Christians from Israel are proficient in Hebrew, does that make it their language? The answer to the question about whether Urdu is a Muslim language or not is proven by some simple facts. It is often argued and said by the likes of Javed Akhtar that languages belong to regions, not to religions. This point is true most of the time. Indeed, Spanish belongs to Spain, French belongs to France, Japanese belongs to Japan etc. but the case of Urdu is different. The original native speaking regions of Urdu and Hindi are both exactly the same. Two people growing up in the same town, who speak to each other normally but one is Hindu and the other Muslim identify their languages as Hindi and Urdu respectively. 99%+ of those who identify Urdu as their language on the census are Muslim. In North India, wherever there is a low population of Muslims, the number of Urdu speakers is low. As the population of Muslims increases in various districts, the number of claimed Urdu speakers rise proportionately. In cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad, the number of Urdu speakers is almost identical to the Muslim population. This is despite the fact that the “Urdu” spoken in Bangalore is nothing like the Urdu you would actually consider to be Urdu and yet they identify their language as Urdu, albeit as Deccani Urdu. Now, with any language, of course people who are outside of the culture/nationality to whom the language belongs can learn. I can learn how to speak Spanish. Someone could learn how to speak Chinese. Similarly, Hindus who do not ordinarily know Urdu can also learn how to speak, read and write Urdu. Urdu is an Indian language with a good literary history. However, in your video, you named many people who were non-Muslims who wrote in Urdu. But the names you have taken prove the arguments I have made here. Here are just a few. There are many more: Premchand - Hindi speaker who learned Urdu from maulvis and he wrote in Hindi later in his life after Hindi reading gained popularity Jagannath Azad - Punjabi Hindu who learned Urdu from the education system (and his father who also learned it from the education system) Gulzar - Punjabi Sikh who learned Urdu from the education system of the day Sunil Dutt - Punjabi Hindu who learned Urdu from the education system of the day Rajinder Singh Bedi - Punjabi Sikh who learned Urdu from the education system of the day Krishan Chander - Punjabi Hindu who learned Urdu from the education system of the day Ram Prasad Bismil - UP Hindu who grew up in the same place as Ashfaqulla Khan yet learned Urdu from maulvis, not his home. Daya Shankar Kaul - Kashmiri Pandit, whose language was Kashmiri and not Urdu. It is also worth mentioning that a large number of non-Muslims who were writers of Urdu took up pen names in Persian and Arabic, which would ordinarily be seen as Muslim by common folk, including by Muslims themselves. If we even take the examples of Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Muhammad Iqbal, were their mother tongues Urdu? Furthermore, Iqbal was a better writer of Persian than he was of Urdu, he preferred Persian. So does that make Persian his language? You mentioned Lata Mangeshkar in your video. She is mentioned in the video as having improved her Urdu pronunciation for her songs. She was a Marathi speaker (of a Konkani background) firstly and secondly, she learned Urdu pronunciation from a maulvi, not from a pandit. Why? If she wanted to improve her Hindi pronunciation, would she have also gone to the maulvi? As an aside, I would also mention that the word Hindi is more inclusive than the word Urdu. You would appreciate that the word Hindi means “of or belonging to India”. Even Iqbal referred to the people of India as Hindi when he said “Hindi hai hum, watan hai Hindustan hamara”. The word Hindi has been used by Iqbal in his Persian writing to refer to Urdu as well. He wrote, “garchi Hindi dar uzūbat shakkar ast, tarz-i guftar-i Dari shirin tar ast”. Ironically, he’s saying here that writing in Persian is sweeter. In any case, the word Hindi is older than the word Urdu because Hindi is simply a Perso-Arabic word referring to something being “of or belonging to India”. Urdu on the other hand is a late 18th century invention meaning the “language of the camp or hordes”. This implies that it is the language of hordes, soldiers or even marauders. Ghalib referred to Mir Taqi Mir’s competency in Urdu but he called the language Rekhta. It is uncertain as to when some people decided to call the language as a whole “Hindustani”. I will note that in the Caribbean, the indentured workers who went there refer to their language as Caribbean Hindustani, but upon close inspection, it is more similar to Awadhi and Bhojpuri (because these regions are where the labourers came from) but very much understandable. All in all, while I believe that your intentions are noble and you seem to want to bring the countries to closer by contending that Urdu is also a language for all, not just Muslims. This is actually not necessary. North Indian Hindus understand a decent amount of Urdu and appreciate its poetry and adab. I do too. India and Pakistan are close and should be good friends on account of the same history and DNA, Urdu doesn’t have much to do with it, and in fact, it can be argued that Urdu has played a toxic role in aggravating divisions. Urdu does not originate from the land that Pakistan is on. The native languages of Pakistan are Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, Balochi etc. Even today, the term “Urdu-speaking” is code for saying that someone’s family does not originally belong to Pakistani soil (a Muhajir). Therefore, India and Pakistan’s commonality are based in much more than Urdu or Hindi.

Urdu is no language it is all Hindi/Sanskrit. Even Word URDU does not match with the language what you spoke. Moreover Pakistanis does not know the meaning of words and how it construct. The mughals rule was over.

Likewise abdali was invited to India to defeat the marathas.
The three battles of panipat never went in favor of India especially hindus.

Urdu is not linked with Muslims even Muslims started this himself first. The majority of Muslims linked Urdu with Arabic but it's not true.
Fact is that Muslims also confused with their identity. Sometimes they linked himself with Arab and sometimes with Turk but forgot that entire Asian Muslims are converted to Muslims ( some of them converted himself and majority of them converted by mughal on Taalwar)

The question over whether Urdu is a Muslim language or not is a matter of a de facto reality rather than some esoteric philosophical debate over whether a language can belong to a religion. In my response, the first comment I would like to make here is that due to my upbringing and education, English is my strongest language. Does that somehow make English the language of North Indian Hindus (and Jains) and Muslims, if some of them can speak and comprehend English better? If Zubin Mehta becomes more proficient at speaking English than Gujarati, does that make English the language of his people? If Arab Muslims and Arab Christians from Israel are proficient in Hebrew, does that make it their language?
The answer to the question about whether Urdu is a Muslim language or not is proven by some simple facts. It is often argued and said by the likes of Javed Akhtar that languages belong to regions, not to religions. This point is true most of the time. Indeed, Spanish belongs to Spain, French belongs to France, Japanese belongs to Japan etc. but the case of Urdu is different. The original native speaking regions of Urdu and Hindi are both exactly the same. Two people growing up in the same town, who speak to each other normally but one is Hindu and the other Muslim identify their languages as Hindi and Urdu respectively. 99%+ of those who identify Urdu as their language on the census are Muslim. In North India, wherever there is a low population of Muslims, the number of Urdu speakers is low. As the population of Muslims increases in various districts, the number of claimed Urdu speakers rise proportionately. In cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad, the number of Urdu speakers is almost identical to the Muslim population. This is despite the fact that the “Urdu” spoken in Bangalore is nothing like the Urdu you would actually consider to be Urdu and yet they identify their language as Urdu, albeit as Deccani Urdu.
Now, with any language, of course people who are outside of the culture/nationality to whom the language belongs can learn. I can learn how to speak Spanish. Someone could learn how to speak Chinese. Similarly, Hindus who do not ordinarily know Urdu can also learn how to speak, read and write Urdu. Urdu is an Indian language with a good literary history. However, in your video, you named many people who were non-Muslims who wrote in Urdu. But the names you have taken prove the arguments I have made here. Here are just a few. There are many more:
Premchand - Hindi speaker who learned Urdu from maulvis and he wrote in Hindi later in his life after Hindi reading gained popularity
Jagannath Azad - Punjabi Hindu who learned Urdu from the education system (and his father who also learned it from the education system)
Gulzar - Punjabi Sikh who learned Urdu from the education system of the day
Sunil Dutt - Punjabi Hindu who learned Urdu from the education system of the day
Rajinder Singh Bedi - Punjabi Sikh who learned Urdu from the education system of the day
Krishan Chander - Punjabi Hindu who learned Urdu from the education system of the day
Ram Prasad Bismil - UP Hindu who grew up in the same place as Ashfaqulla Khan yet learned Urdu from maulvis, not his home.
Daya Shankar Kaul - Kashmiri Pandit, whose language was Kashmiri and not Urdu.
It is also worth mentioning that a large number of non-Muslims who were writers of Urdu took up pen names in Persian and Arabic, which would ordinarily be seen as Muslim by common folk, including by Muslims themselves.
If we even take the examples of Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Muhammad Iqbal, were their mother tongues Urdu? Furthermore, Iqbal was a better writer of Persian than he was of Urdu, he preferred Persian. So does that make Persian his language?
You mentioned Lata Mangeshkar in your video. She is mentioned in the video as having improved her Urdu pronunciation for her songs. She was a Marathi speaker (of a Konkani background) firstly and secondly, she learned Urdu pronunciation from a maulvi, not from a pandit. Why? If she wanted to improve her Hindi pronunciation, would she have also gone to the maulvi?
As an aside, I would also mention that the word Hindi is more inclusive than the word Urdu. You would appreciate that the word Hindi means “of or belonging to India”. Even Iqbal referred to the people of India as Hindi when he said “Hindi hai hum, watan hai Hindustan hamara”. The word Hindi has been used by Iqbal in his Persian writing to refer to Urdu as well. He wrote, “garchi Hindi dar uzūbat shakkar ast, tarz-i guftar-i Dari shirin tar ast”. Ironically, he’s saying here that writing in Persian is sweeter. In any case, the word Hindi is older than the word Urdu because Hindi is simply a Perso-Arabic word referring to something being “of or belonging to India”. Urdu on the other hand is a late 18th century invention meaning the “language of the camp or hordes”. This implies that it is the language of hordes, soldiers or even marauders. Ghalib referred to Mir Taqi Mir’s competency in Urdu but he called the language Rekhta. It is uncertain as to when some people decided to call the language as a whole “Hindustani”. I will note that in the Caribbean, the indentured workers who went there refer to their language as Caribbean Hindustani, but upon close inspection, it is more similar to Awadhi and Bhojpuri (because these regions are where the labourers came from) but very much understandable.
All in all, while I believe that your intentions are noble and you seem to want to bring the countries to closer by contending that Urdu is also a language for all, not just Muslims. This is actually not necessary. North Indian Hindus understand a decent amount of Urdu and appreciate its poetry and adab. I do too. India and Pakistan are close and should be good friends on account of the same history and DNA, Urdu doesn’t have much to do with it, and in fact, it can be argued that Urdu has played a toxic role in aggravating divisions. Urdu does not originate from the land that Pakistan is on. The native languages of Pakistan are Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, Balochi etc. Even today, the term “Urdu-speaking” is code for saying that someone’s family does not originally belong to Pakistani soil (a Muhajir). Therefore, India and Pakistan’s commonality are based in much more than Urdu or Hindi.
