    Just purchased these exact lights for my 2020 Willys JLU and cannot wait to hook them up!
    Appreciate the concise content and tape measure tip. 😀👍

    Nice! The JL A-pillar Light mounts I’ve seen to date are too bulky for my taste, but these are pleasantly minimalistic and also place the lights at the “right” location in relation to the windshield. Thanks for sharing!

    What's the wind noise like when you're going down the highway with those new lights?
    I really like your channel. Once you gain some traction youre really going to blow up.
    Your bumper install video help me get my bumper installed as the instructions were garbage.

    • @FROSTBITEOFFROAD
      @FROSTBITEOFFROAD  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Josh G thanks man, yeah I didn’t like the bumper instructions. The lights don’t make any additional noise as far as I can tell, I really like them so far! Thanks for watching the videos, I’m glad there helping people out! Happy trails.

    Dude the tape measure trick
    was awesome! Just installed mine and they are bright.. one question though. Where did you cut the harness to get ride of the extra wire? I am running mine of aux 4.

    • @FROSTBITEOFFROAD
      @FROSTBITEOFFROAD  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that trick definitely helps, I ended up cutting off what I didn't need for the switches and rolled up the excess power and ground wires. I wasn't sure if I might move them to the bumper eventually. Thanks for watching Michael!

    Why did you choose to go with the spot pattern as opposed to the driving light pattern? I am thinking getting the spot pattern but placing them low in front.

    • @FROSTBITEOFFROAD
      @FROSTBITEOFFROAD  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Onward 4x4 Spot pattern is what I’ve had before and what the manufacturers recommend. You get a lot of glare off the hood with a wider beam pattern. If they weren’t on the A-pillar I’m sure a driving pattern would be nice. I’m really happy with mine, works great for what I need them for and doesn’t blind me off the hood.

    • @Onward4x4
      @Onward4x4 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FROSTBITEOFFROAD It makes sense. I didn't think about the glare over the hood which likely is a lot more with the driving light pattern.

    what size wire splice did you use? and what size heat shrink tubing did you use? Thank You. (No problem if you can't remember)

    • @FROSTBITEOFFROAD
      @FROSTBITEOFFROAD  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      joebee1 if I recall it was the 18-20 gauge for the wire connectors and the medium size heat shrink that’s big enough to just slide over the connector. Hope this helps!

    • @joebee1866
      @joebee1866 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FROSTBITEOFFROAD Thank You, I ordered based on color of what you used from video, very light blue marine grade on amazon, which is 14-16 gauge, but no big deal, I'll order 18-20 gauge just to be safe. I want to let you know i have used your videos and tips to install many of same items you have, front drive shaft, metalcloak lift, now same KC Lights and I have a Smitty built HD Tire Carrier, similar to Rugged Ridge. All these install video's have helped me out immensely, I really appreciate the time you take to make them. Thanks. Keep up the great work you do.

    • @FROSTBITEOFFROAD
      @FROSTBITEOFFROAD  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      joebee1 you may be right about the size, I did use the light blue ones. I’m really glad the videos have helped you build up your Jeep! It’s really cool to hear people are benefiting from watching them, it’s definitely motivating! Thank you for watching and let me know if you have any more questions.
