Having worked a small (18 ton) crane taking trees down in tight and historic places- its imperative for the operator and the tree climber to have excellent comms and trust.. the crane guy knows what he can handle.. the climber knows what stuff weighs.. and the better climbers always guessed light... better to take 2 or three more lifts than to think " it'll handle it"

I've never seen a 'bird's eye view' of tree work, quite like this before. I can tell you that I never took my eyes off the screen for the whole video.
I was pleased when you and Dustin were back on earth, manly because if I go up over 12 feet on a thirty foot ladder ( or some such height ) my nerves start to leave me :).

Pure gold. Lots of questionable safety decisions, but that's what makes it so fun!

Awesome work! That wind brought back memories of climbing from 40 years ago!

That’s quite a thing..being hung by a crane cable. I’d be real nervous about it for sure. I’ve climbed radio towers to work with them, but can’t now because of a back injury.
Take care and stay safe bud! God bless!🙏✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

You should consider hooking up with Reon Rounds. He also has a top of the line professional tree service. That would make an awesome collaboration video. Love these kinds of videos. Very educational. Thanks 👍👍👍

Go Pro and DJI have put out the Hero 11 and Action 3 respectively recently, so I guess it is a case of waiting till these cameras have some market maturity and refinement?

I was thinking the same thing with those loose pins. Guess that's one of the reasons Reon made those rope slings just for this type of work.

Interesting stuff. It's dangerous cutting if limb swings wrong or flips up. You be safe in the trees.

A good crane operator is a must.

@@cotontop3 seems like the branches were moving much quicker after cutting than the crane jobs that I watch by August. Also, seemed a little hairy when he was pulling you up through the branches.
