    i hate how these videos with steven are SO SLEPT ON. as someone with issues with food/eating - these videos are so F*ING COMFORTING FOR ME AND OTHERS. steven and co. deserve the same viewership as the other Watcher series’s 😭😭😭

    • @redeye1016

      They may not relate to other people, in the same way they do for you. It’s ok. Chill

    • @MintySomething
      @MintySomething ปีที่แล้ว +8

      i get the sentiment but honestly, if there's less interest for food content then that's just that, it has nothing to do with "deserving" or people sleeping on it. also comfort doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. to be very honest, personally, when im eating instant ramen for the third night in a row because that's what i can afford that week, watching some guy fly across the planet to stuff himself with food until he feels sick is pretty much the opposite of comfort for me

    • @faeraindrops
      @faeraindrops ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Istg you can say apples are great and you'll get people under your comment section going "SO YOU HATE PINEAPPLES". OP never stated that everyone has to find comfort in these videos. THEY LITERALLY said "these videos are so fucking comforting for me and others" what is so hard about comprehending that sentence?
      Also i agree, because a lot of watcher fans were unsolved fans at one point, they mostly tune into ryan and shane. Which honestly makes me feel like people pay little to no attention to steven unless he's with them

    • @MintySomething
      @MintySomething ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@faeraindrops? what are you talking about, that's literally what we both said - "they may not relate to other people the same way they do for you" and "comfort doesn't mean the same thing to everyone". we just said that it's normal that not all content appeals to the same amount of people

    • @securityvau1t
      @securityvau1t ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@MintySomething It's completely validated that viewing someone with excess can breed discomfort; it's why people might ignore or scoff at those who seem to live in a completely alternate universe from them.
      That being said, OP seems to be dealing with an eating disorder, which is a different issue from yours. Certain eating disorders may cause one to lose their appetite and have trouble eating much at all, which is why communal eating (or in this case, a limited sense of it) can be beneficial in encouraging those affected to eat in an environment free of guilt.
      I don't think OP's comment should be taken too literally or personally if what faeraindrops said is right about the Unsolved crowd. (Worth It has and still is a very popular series too, though.)
      Misunderstandings from you and fae aside, both your and OP's reasoning is valid. It is curious that you'd watch something uncomfortable, but I guess we're free to view whatever content we'd like. Thanks to both of you for sharing your insight.

    Steven is awesome. I'm so happy he's made it all the way to where he is now. I remember his first Worth it episode where he got made fun of by Keith for just being his bubbly-self! Happy he didn't change and kept his way. See, he's extremelly successful, got his own TH-cam Channel and living his best life through food. Love that guy! Any thumbnail I see with his face, I click as quick as I can lol

    Pig's feet are also a staple in german cuisine! They're usually served with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut.

    Too bad Eric Nam couldn't join you holding a bottle of soju and introduce you to a Korean version of the Waffle House...which is just a guk bap without the fights.

    There is a Korean spelling mistake with the word Appa which is after Steven ate the free sample skate. It should be 아빠 not 아파. 아파 means hurt lol

    강정(gang-jeong) actually is type of traditional snack in Korea, and 닭강정(dak-gang-jeong) is named after that snack, because it's prepared kinda similar.
    Also 걸쭉하다/진하다 would fit more as thick in that context. 두껍다 sure means thick but like thick, as in meat is thick or something like that.

      and 20:06 that oil thing she talking about is malt. I think she is confused because in Korean it's called 엿기름(yeot-gee-reum), 엿 is taffy like rice syrup candy and 기름 is oil. Idk why it's called that but anyway.
