I just got my hair done this way and I love it. The most time consuming part was pulling my hair through the needle to hide it. Other than that it was easy peasy!!
Thank you 🙏🏾. Girl, I was about to say forget this hairstyle. But, when you said take your time and go little by little. Now, I have a head full of beautiful butterfly locs.
@@chamilleleonne Hi! Nobody knows but the signs speak for themselves, along with the Bible. But of course if you don't believe I can't convince you, this "work" is of the Spirit of God. God bless you🙏
Can you do it with regular black and gold kanekelon hair? My hair is thin I had to ass dreadlock hair to the base of my rubber band plats it’s my first time 😩😩
Hi nice style but I honestly think this butter fly locs or distressed locs is hard to put the single braid in between . Because of the butterfly pattern in it . And it’s like bunching I did twice to two clients and the stress . But when it’s nu locs is easier.
I don't know if you resolved the issue or not im using freetress butterfly loc 12" I found that in order to pull the hair in yours through the loop you have too pull the hair down from the loop it will look like your destroying it essentially but allows the loop to become bigger once you have pulled both your hair and the loc through you can simply pull the hair back up to the base of the loop
This is very pretty but the goal in crochet locks is that it should take less work and time. This looked like a lot of work if someone were trying to DIY .
There’s an easier method. This looks too much when you can just connect the individual braids to the next and keep braiding it through . Then the muffle you can just do cornrows .

Did it hurt at all? Because I'm extremely tender headed.

Thank you! This is the best tutorial I've seen for how to pull the braid through the loc.

Thank you so much! I'm about to do this tomorrow. Haven't done this method in years and doing it on growing twa.. So 🤞🏾
You should wrap the hair with spring twist hair to cover it up cause you can still see the braid in the loc

If that's the case then it WASN'T done Correctly...lol
I did this method on a client. Most annoying thing ever. Much easier and less stress to wrap.
Why was it annoying..cuz now I don’t want to do my head 😭😭🥺🥺
@@dyamon12 pulling the hair through the loc. Sometimes it would go through and sometimes it would get stuck🤦🏽♀️
Wrapping is wayy too hard when you have to do them on yourself😩😩
@@camillemells279 I am not able to do any hairstyle on myself. And I am a licensed stylist. I need to do better🤣
@@tiffanyhalley6621 have no shame it’s a whole arm workout 😭😭
Everyone has been talking about this hair. I have it in my cart. I have to do mine by myself.
❤thank you so very much I’m going to do my hair tomorrow
That is beautiful but crazy labor intensive!! I’ve seen much quicker methods by connecting the individual braids in rows so they are like cornrows,
I tried the individual braid method and cornrow them. It still didnt look right 😩
Like the individual looks better not heavy when it’s French braided it’s heavy that my next hairstyle
Yes beautiful
The pull through always kills me lol but this gives me confidence!!
About to finish the front of my daughters hair with this! Thank you!!
How do you take it out?
How many plats/braids are there?

She is so pretty
This is gorgeous!! I may do this next!
This was SO helpful!
Yesssss🎉
I keep messing up, I was trying to pull the whole braid through im one go
So cute how many packs did you use
This is very stressful and time consuming. Well done
How do you take this down tho? Look like it would be hard to separate the braid from the loc
It's actually easy to separate the braid out of the twist
@@jayaye2118 how? Can you do a video?
This is amazing, but take down looks like it would be a madness. Do you have a takedown video? Thank you
Exactly my thoughts.
You make it look easy
@justrandom75 I would prefer the butterfly locs being done in cornrows pattern - crochet style then the singles .
How many parts
How many sections would u said you did
Very helpful thank you ❤️
How much time it takes?
How you take that out if the client hair is in there?
Love the look,but to complicated!
Beautiful
Thank you :)
how many packs of hair ?
how many packs of hair did you use?
1pk can do your entire head.
About how long did it take you?
Do you have to wash the locs first?
How do you remove the locks
Never tried this method..always had it cornrowed. Soooo, is the take down a nightmare???
Did your hair pop out of the locs at all? That’s my biggest problem and why I want to switch to cornrows but I hate that way lol
I think her method is time consuming ... seems cornrows would work a whole lot better. Did yours work out?
@@ImDemanding yea cornrows work great
Great video
How many locs do you have in?
Love this, how long did it take ?
Maybe a few hours, I'm doing mine now
@@yanaaugust1434did it turn out well lol?? It’s been a week

Pretty hair but you can in fact tell that it was crochet in…

I am trying this look on tomorrow... but I am doing cornrows, do you have experience installing on cornrows?
I can't cornrow & i prefer the individual method. YOU can cornrow tho
