Please don't mind I'm not trying to be rude but I'm an experienced bunny owner
The quantity of food you are feeding your bunny is too much they doesn't eat that much it's totally unfine for them
80% of rabbits diet is hay (dried grass) or green grass
Your rabbits are totally overweight because you are over feeding them!!
Bunnies should not be kept in such an small cage that's cruelty!!!
If you can't give them space or can't expense on their cage then don't buy a rabbit!
Hay should be available with them 24 hours and veggies should be fed once in a day!!
Give them atleast 2 to 3 of free roam!!!!

My pet bunny is 100% cage free .She roams around freely at home and is litter trained completely. When the bunnies are litter trained you do not need a cage. You can buy a small bunny bed from Amazon for them. For litter training you should keep timothy or oat hay in litter box and they would only go in the litter box when they would want to do their business. Also, please use litter spray (You can get it in a pet shop) to keep the area clean.Anyway, nice video.

This comment got too long, but do read cuz it's really, really important. 😅
      ________________________
Does he/she really eat all these all the time? Or even consume these things?
I'm so sorry, dear, but it's an extremely wrong diet.
💖 Rabbit should NEVER eat any human food, it's unsuitable for them. You do need to eliminate biscuit and puffed rice and any other human food out of her diet. He/she may have bear that for a while but no rabbit can live their full life span by eating human food. If this is confusing you, you can even Google about it, as rabbits shouldn't eat any human food.
💖 Now, as for spinach, rabbits can sure eat it, but only as treats or in small amounts or what's better than this is~ to completely avoid spinach. Spinach is high in oxalates which bind calcium, magnesium, and other minerals together, thus make them insoluble. Therefore, it reduces the possibility of using them in the bone structure. The calcium content might get stuck in the bladder and cause bladder stones. There're other safer veggies that one can use. But vegetables are only 10% part of their diet.
💖 As for carrots, I do understand that at first we all believe that carrots are what they should be eating, right? I used to think so too. But carrots and rabbits are a myth. I k that it's a popular belief that rabbits love carrots, it's their main diet blah blah blah, but all these beliefs are fake, just a myth. Actually, carrots are root vegetable/fruit, to begin with this isn't even natural for them. It's quite high in sugar, and can cause dental issues, obesity, and other problems. Fruits, including carrots, only make 5% part of their diet. Wel, carrots are indeed delicious for rabbits, they love them, but it should be fed in limited amounts, only as a rare treat, not as part of their main diet. In fact, no more than 4-5 inches a week does them good.
💖 So~ their main diet is hay! Hay should be accessible to them 24×7 aka all the time. Fibre is what rabbits need most in their diet and hay is what provides it. I k how astonishing it sounds at first that rabbits need hay, not carrots. But that's just what's best for them. Hay helps in keeping guts moving and teeth trimmed. Rabbits need to always have hay, that's why I asked you about hay to begin with. (^^) But it's alright, cuz it's not a widely fact. Hay is available on Amazon, but if you want then I can help you with other cheap sources. But unfortunately, it's unavailable die to corona crisis. TT
💖 This is basically an adult rabbit's diet after 3 months of age~
      🖤80% hay
      🖤10% vegetables
      🖤5% fruits
      🖤5 pellets
💖 Some safe and healthy vegetables are corriander (hari dhaniya), dill (soa/soya), methi (fenugreek), mint (pudina), basil (tulsi), cucumber (khira), but cucumber should be fed in small amounts compared to others and not even on daily basis, as it's a gassy vegetable.
💖 Fruits are only treats and not main diet and feeding 4-5 inches a week is usually quite enough.
💖 In India ,the only safe pellets are~ Zupreem Timothy hay pellets, rest of the pellets that are advertised for rabbits contain harmful fillers, so it's better to completely avoid pellets rather than to feed harmful pellets, as hay is their main diet.

      __________________________
Now, as unfortunately, due to the ongoing situation, hay isn't available on Amazon, so until hy is available again and you're able to buy it~
Here's a temporary solution, but do remember that this is temporary solution and hay is always better and healthier and more nutritious.
Hay can be replaced by only one thing and that's bermuda grass, which is often called "dhoob ghas" in Hindi. It's usually available in pooja shops or at florists. So these are our of options cuz of corona.
The third place this bermuda grass can be found is parks or gardens~
♥️ Do make sure that the grass is free of fertilizers and other harmful chemicals. Grass that's been covered with these shouldn't be fed to rabbits.
♥️ It's better if cats and dogs can't access that grass as their poop and pee is quite harmful for rabbits.
♥️ Use either scissors or hands to cut the grass as grass shavings from landmower should never be fed cuz the cutting process and heat generated makes grass susceptible to festering, and according to House Rabbit Society such grass can leave a rabbit with a poor tummy.
♥️ Dirty grass can cause worms and moreover it's always better to clean grass instead of taking risks.
♥️ Thoroughly wash the grass over and over and over again. Pee and poop of other animals, dust, and exposure to other dangerous things make grass unsuitable, that's why they need to be properly washed. This is one of the reasons, why hay is a better choice! But grass would be ready to be eaten once it's carefully washed. 🐰❤️
      ______________________
      IMPORTANT~
👉 A rabbit's diet should never be changed all of a sudden.
👉 Sudden changes in diet can send them into shock and cause G.I stasis.
👉 Transaction to correct diet should be slow and steady and careful.
👉 Slow change in diet is the key.
👉What you can do now is~
      🐰 Add grass 24×7.
🐰 Don't feed biscuits and puffed rice and any other human food.
🐰 Slowly reduce the quantity of carrots and spinach and ultimately stop those. But don't stop feeding those at once. If you want you can continue spinach as a treat but spinach can never belong to either 80% hay diet and 10% vegetable diet. Carrots can also be treated as an occasional treat.
🐰 This reduction should be followed by introduction of some healthy herb such as corriander or dill~ and slowly increase their quantity. Maybe, you can begin with one stem of these. But don't introduce a huge amount of such herbs at once.
🐰 Do keep a check on poops~ a healthy poop is round and dry and odourless and golden-brown and easily breakable and should have chewed pieces of hay or grass when broken.
      ___________________
Btw are you on any rabbit group or forum? If not, then I must add that those places are super helpful. You can try joining these two rabbit centred Indian groups~ Nom Nom India Bunny Rabbit Caregiver Network and India Rabbit Owners United on FB. However, there are international or foreign groups also, which are bunderful places. These can be great for your buns. Xx
      ______________________
Reason for the diet I mentioned~
🖤 A pet rabbit's diet is copied from wild rabbits cuz what was healthy for their ancestors is healthy for them.
🖤 In wild, rabbits have 24×7 access to unlimited grass that's why domesticated rabbits are should be provided with hay all the time aka 24×7.
🖤 Vegetables can be rarely found by them that's why it only makes up 10% of their diet.
🖤 Fruits are quite a lot rare for them that's why these are just used as treats.
🖤 Pellets were used for the first time by breeders to fatten up the meat rabbits and contained harmful ingredients. Later, some peeps made healthy pellets completely out of hay without any added fillers. Some experts advice against them and to stick to a natural diet of hay and veggies but some favour these as they can be quite useful for under-weight buns. All in all these aren't necessary and can be avoided as hay is the main thing that's required to keep guts moving and teeth trimmed.

Rabbit shouldn't be in the cage even for a second, let alone night. Moreover, they are crepuscular animals, they don't sleep at night. They need bare minimum floor space of 6×2×2 feet. And the cage that he's using is terrible! -_-

Lovely! It is always better to have atleast two bunnies so that they won't feel depressed. We have two snow white rabbits, they are able to maintain their whiteness just by cleaning themselves. I heard that we shouldn't bath rabbits as they don't like it and bathing may harm them.

For some reason Lalu and Kali like to be in a congested area, so even when they are out open in house for about 16 hrs a day, they always find a very small congested corner in house and spend 2-3 hrs at stretch getting squeezed there ! I dont know if other rabbits do that. May be its just that Lalu and Kali are different ! :)
They only spend 7-8 hrs of sleep time in cage anyway !

There are so many mistakes. Rabbit should eat 80% of hay, 20% of green stuff. This is not healthy for them at all. They should have unlimited source of hay, because they eat up to 70 times per day. Also - this cage is too small and argument, that they are here only in night is so wrong. Rabbits are the most active during night! Where they have something for chew? And you should not use newspapers, because they have toxic paint in them. You probably did like no research and I am really suprised, that they live for so long. In litterbox there should be also some material, not just empty box. Please, do more research when you get yourself a pet. People, do not take this as inspiration.

hello i am from australia and i have 3 rabbits, just giving you some advice rabbits do not belong in cages, they should never be in a wired bottom cage because rabbits do not have padding under there foot like dogs or cats do so their feet will get sours and they hurt alot.
Feeding them should only be green veggies such as aspurugus, kale, spinach, baisley, parsley.

It's great that they get hay always, as it's such a necessity and most people tend to forget that and abuse in the sense of not providing main diet in an unintentional manner, of you know what I mean. ^^
But there's tad bits of mistake in your bun's diet~
Lettuce~ if it's romaine lettuce then yay! But if it's iceberg lettuce that's equal to eating cardboard as both have no nutrition.
Carrots~ contrary to the popular belief, carrots belong to the 5% fruits part of the diet and should be fed in limited quantity. Though I g that you must already be taking care of this, but I felt like mentioning cuz you included it in veggies inside of fruits. Carrots and any fruits shouldn't be fed more than 4-5 inches a week.
Spinach~ it sure can be used as a treat but there are better, healthier options. Spinach is high in oxalates, which binds calcium, magnesium, and other things in a way that can't be absorbed by bones and other purposes, so it collects in their bladder, which causes stones in rabbits. It's best to avoid this veggie.
Peas~ now this is a serious mistake. Some sites may mention it as a treat, but it's not safe nor is it in HRS' safe veggies list, it's always better to be safe than sorry. Peas are rather an unhealthy option.
Cucumber~ it's great for rabbits as long as it's fed in small quantities as it's a gassy veggie and can't be fed on daily basis.
Corriander~ it's a herb and herbs are always the healthiest. Besides corriander, some other great herbs are dill, parsley, basil, mint, bok choy. ^^
Broccoli~ tbh it's excessive gassy and avoiding it is the best bet.
As far as I think cucumber and broccoli and other gassy veggies fed on one same day can be damaging and even fed on different be unhealthy. When there're healthy options available, there's no harm avoiding unhealthy ones. Right?
I g that you already know about this~ as it's quite clear from your comment that you've done your research on rabbits~ but just to be on the safer side~
Changes in diet need slow transactions. Slowly reduce the amount of peas, spinach, broccolis and then completely stop. Slowly introduce healthy herbs and watch out for poops and well gradually increase their quantity.
A handful of veggies twice a day is usually more than enough. ^_^
      _______________________
Cardboard boxes must work as bunderful hide-outs, I also use them as no sensible hidey-house is available in India either. Btw another thing that you can provide them with is~ apple and guava sticks, they work as marvelous chew toys.
I've heard that baby keys and stacking cubes also make wonderful toys, though my bun didn't like it and never plays with it. TT try those at your own risk. XD
      _____________________
I seriously am wondering what's the size of the cage.
Why don't you try an X-playpen in its place? With a pen of minimum 6×2×2 feet and 4-5 hours of exercise is quite great ad well as enough for them. So, having a playpen instead of a cage is all that's required to solve your problems.
Btw, I relate so much with how parents don't understand that rabbits also need to free roam, I totally feel you. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 My parents also used to like that, so whenever they were out at work I used let my rabbit free roam. lol. I was such a good liar. However, they let me free roam her in my own room, or perhaps I just did it, I dr. 😅 But there was always a force to keep her caged at night, even though I tried explaining that they don't sleep t night. 🤷 I used to explain about their needs and how they need to be indoors and myths associated with cages, I even told them how the culture of cage began with breeding rabbits for meat and to fatten them up and everything else. After all for some amount of times, my mom let me take her to roam in the hall as long as I accompany her. And with all this slowly and steadily, free roaming her turned into a success. She got litter trained and I covered wires with cord protector and there was no excuse left for them to have any problem with her free roaming. Now she's a free roam bunbun except for one prohibited room. 💜🐰💜🐰💜🐰💜🐰💜
So, I kr it's easy for me to comment from the easy-peasy position I'm in, but trying to educate your parents about rabbits is your best bet, tell them about bare minimum requirement, send them vids of rabbits in playpens and free roaming, tell them about how rabbits were domesticated, how cages were a thing of Victorian times and it's 21 st century, how they need space to stretch and flop and binky, how lonely they may feel, how 4 hours isn't enough. It doesn't usually work at first, at least explaining all this didn't work for me. My parents usually have excuses for keeping her confined yet I didn't stop saying facts about rabbits and space requirements for no reason, there're so many myths associated with rabbits that cages have become normalized which isn't okay.
      And yas, good luck!
As well as another last advice~ try joining some rabbit groups or forums, I also made an almost similar mistake with vegetables, which I didn't realize until I joined some rabbit groups. 🙃 Whatever you have mentioned sounds like what I used to do. 😂
      And yas, good luck!
      XOXO

Another thing, not spaying won't kill them at once.
All rabbit TH-camrs aren't lying. I'm so sorry to se that you're looking at it that way.
Vaccinating is one of the best things one can do, but those vaccines aren't even available in America, let alone in Pakistan and India. So there's no need for that.
I won't recommend you getting fixed cuz I am unaware of facilities available for rabbits in Pakistan, but in India neuter ISA fairly simple and so many people have got their buns neutered, it isn't only about expanding life span but also about prevent unwanted pregnancies, certain cancers, and destructive behaviour. It, as well, helps in litter training. Moreover, unneutered rabbits never bond. But there isn't much facilities for spay operation here, though a few buns have successfully gone through that, it even prevents false pregnancies and stress associated with it. Yet over all it can be a risky one.
      So I g you already k what I'm overall saying. ^^

Around 800rs per month but this cost is only of veggies. Other than that the things you need to purchase in couple of months are pee pads, litter, pellets, hay, toys etc
