$200 dollars is on a budget ? New to the boot world but that tells me other boots are wayyyy more 😭

Just received my pair of Captain today! Before it arrived, I was a bit scared they wouldn't fit, but I was worried for nothing because they fit! My feet are really wide, 5E in size 10,5, so it's a hassle for me to buy boots and shoes and If Thursday boots didn't change their Last, the boots wouldn't have fit my feet. So I'm glad they changed their last.
I have my Tobacco Captain with stormking soles, and they've been awesome for the last 18 months of ownership.

two things, get some leather conditioner (preferably saphir) to protect them, and be careful about salt on the roads man, that shit will ruin the leather.

Thursday boots are vary good boots. They surpass doc Martin by a mile doc martins are vary cheaply made compared to Thursday boots. Also the type of color also is how resilient the leather is the rugged and resilient line of colors are obviously the most resilient compared to all the others which are pretty much the same.
How much sound do they make when you walk on hard floor? Do you get people’s attention when you are walking by?

Nah, I haven’t had any issues with them yet, they are just becoming more broken in the more I wear them
Contact them, they will send you a new pair. The sole shouldn’t separate.

I just got my Thursday Vanguards 11.5 yesterday. I love them but they really are pretty big. I have a B width and I went down a half size from my Brannock devise which is a 12, sneakers are also 12. Perhaps because I have a narrow somewhat flat foot I'm wondering if the 11 might be better. Do you have narrow or flat feet?

Their leather sneakers were way too narrow, I could not even stand in them, much less walk in them for a break-in as their customer support suggested. My findings are a common problem of their sneakers, google the internet.
They have a couple of style sneakers in different sizes of wide. I bought the black leather in a wide and love them.
@@bmccook14 unfortunately I did not find white leather in gum sole and wide, not a good company strategy for the company known for narrow sized shoes. Must be targeted more for South America feet.
I’ve ordered a few pairs of shoes/boots. The boots were incredibly uncomfortable, even after using shoe stretchers. I’m probably done ordering their products.

is it true that Thursday boots dont last more than 2 month? can anyone tell me their experiences with them?
I've had mine for over three years. I liked them so much that i got them re-soled when the original soles wore down. The upper is still holding strong. Definitely not a work boot, but good and comfortable for general daily use.
They last much longer than 2 months. Every negative review is one of two things: 1) comparing them to work boots in durability (they aren’t work boots, don’t treat them that way) or 2) comparing them to $300+ boots like red wings (gotta keep price in mind here). For most people for casual use, they are great!

A Very weak boot, meant for SOY BOYS with skinny jeans. And are too over priced.
You can get Nice 10 year boots from RED WING for that price and can still go casual.
Many of the Celebs do. QUALITY should be first for that price.

@@danm1511 I own a pair of the low top sneakers, you need to go a size up from the US size, so if you're a size 10 UK order a size 11 US. You need to do this with all Thursday boots and their sneakers.

Me too. The footbed took about a week but the Tobacco leather and heel counter closer to 3 weeks. That is more or less daily wear at 8-10 hours minus the first few days of wearing them just around the house. That isn't to say they were painful, just stiff. I've never met a leather boot that didn't have some sort of break in including Thorogoods which people swear don't. New leather, even if soft, is still not molded to my feet, lol. @@AntonioSanson
