    Poor girl looks just like the dad!
    I just find it very odd that not one of the family members asked that gross man details of the accident! It’s just weird!
    I also don’t get how the relationship was perfect with a dude that acted like that, he’d drive me nuts just hearing his voice! Unless the mom was just as annoying as him and didn’t know any better?!!

      Family members of, at least the victim,I believe, have the right to be in the courtroom for testimony. Also, if the witness is done testifying and has been released from their subpoena, they are allowed to stay in the courtroom.

    I don't think I can think of any trial I've seen that has either attorney put their own employees on the stand for a client. This to my mind is desperation for testimony. Doesn't look good for any client. Just wow.. Maybe the defense is doing a terrible job in hopes it'll give him a chance to ask for a second trial due to ineffective representation.

    Heart breaking to watch the daughter testify.
    I understand, how you can't believe, your own father killed your mother in spite of overwhelming evidence, that he did.
    I hope, the defendant understands the consequenses of his actions, not only to his poor wife but also to his whole family. I doubt, he does though.
    To him his image is more important than being truthfull and give his family a chance of getting some kind of closure in time.

But that's all speculative. Attorney Bednerek "How was it growing up with your Mom & Dad" , witness: "They got us a pool and they allowed us to have friends over" .......... can you imagine how strict it all must have been?

    I do think he beat her to death, for sure BUT I do have reasonable doubt that he intended her to die.
    His defense should have admitted to the beating in a fit of rage but made clear he did not intend for her to die.
    Not dure how the law works in this state, can the jury find guilt of a lesser offense even if it has not been the charge or is it you find them guilty or not period? If so,I get why the state stuck with the murder. The jury would know he beat her to death but even if they did not think he meant for her to die, finding him not guilty of murder would let him off completely, so what is the right decision? May as well find him guilty, he did kill her.

    • @peggystoutemorin4529
      @peggystoutemorin4529 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Doesn't matter if he INTENDED for her to die. She died. If he beat her so badly that she died, then he was in a demonic rage. All that lovey-dovey BS was just covering up this weasels rage.

    • @djr6876
      @djr6876 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The state also determined that he failed to get her help in spite of his claims that he did, he then attempts to cover the crime by staging a fake accident. In light of those two things ,it may be hard disprove that it wasn’t in fact a premeditated murder.

    • @josephdale69
      @josephdale69 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I completely agree with the original comment. If he would have just told the truth, he would have been in jail for 5 years for manslaughter. He was roughed up too. Obviously a fight where she died.
      He’s one of the only people in history who lied his way into a first degree murder charge.
