I have a grandson that will be a sophomore in college, a grandson starting college, a granddaughter that will be a senior (she likes to crochet animals) and one that will be a junior. So fun to watch them explore their interests. I have several pairs of snips, in project bags and by sewing machine, love my Kai scissors for fabric! Once in a while I will throw in a pair or two of snips with FQS order.
Nice to have three generations sharing about their crafty endeavors! ♥️ ♥️♥️ My favorite genre of books are mysteries. I’ve gone more to audiobooks so I can stitch and ‘read’ at the same time. ✂️ I love scissors! ✂️ Scissors of all types and sizes. Sentimentally I love Stork scissors as I’m a neonatal/perinatal nurse. Years ago my Mom saw a boxed set of Gingher Scissors and got them for me for Christmas. She knew that I’d love it! When I opened the box and there was a beautiful wooden box with Gingher on the top I thought it was a storage box but was surprised that it held every size and style of scissor they made. I was almost in tears. I still treasure that gift! Now I more often use Kai or Karen K Buckley scissors with the micro serrated blades for quilting and appliqué. I have embroidery scissors with my cross stitch but got a couple of the inexpensive little bright colored scissors as they work well and fit in with projects so easily. Since it’s back to school shopping time I always get a new pair of Fiskars school scissors even though they were up to $1.50 this year! ✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️
I have lots of scissors! Some are on the pricey side; some are inexpensive. In my defense I sew, quilt, cross stitch, paper craft, and I was a teacher, which all require special scissors! I’d love a bookmark! My favorite genres are historical fiction, fantasy, and beach reads. It took me a while to find where I could watch the Olympics, but I’m watching now!
So happy you had a nice time in Massachusetts! I'm from Lowell so glad you had a nice visit. Love the video and yes Celine Dion's performance was magnificent like she is.
Love to see all the fun things that you gals are stitching on. Always enjoy your videos. I would love to have one of the princess bookmarks. I think they’re beautiful. My favorite genre is mysteries and romance and for your question with the scissors I have found that I have recently been collecting little small scissors that I put with all my whips And they have fun designs on them. I have one that has ice cream cones and one that has spooky kitties. Both are very cute and fun. Looking forward to your next video.
Carol, Jen, and Jenna!! Greetings from Dallas!! I have to say that I really enjoy your flosstube and just adore you!! Scissors! I’m not a big collector. I have my snips that I inherited from my mother and a pair of pinking shears I inherited from my grandmother. Those mean a lot to me. Then just a pair of Fiskars I use for sewing and another pair for the kitchen. It was great seeing Jenna! She’s such a well spoken young lady. I, too, graduated in Drama with a concentration in tech design. I stage managed at a semi professional theatre for many years as a side hustle when I was younger. Now I enjoy just being on the audience side of the curtain but I do miss the backstage sometimes. I also diamond painted for several years before I went back to cross stitching. Have a great time at your retreat!! Thanks so much!!!
Another great flosstube, ladies. It was so nice to see your daughter (granddaughter) and see her lovely crafting, she's doing such a wonderful job of everything that she is making. I'm not a big scissor collector because of the expense, but I do like a good sharp pair. I've been using some more inexpensive Wescott embroidery scissors and they're very good and available at Michaels.
Wow! I love the quilt behind you and all of your projects. I think I need to start the cowl too! The diamond painting coasters and bookmarks are beautiful! I loved hearing about the crochet toys and banners! My favorite book genre is murder mysteries but I love historical fiction too. Scissors! I have many different kinds for cross stitch, sewing and quilting, and paper crafts. I just inherited many Ginghor scissors from my mother. She loved to sew and collected many over the years. She hid them so I never realized how many she had. 😂 Thank you for another fun episode!!
Great progress gals! Beautiful projects. As far as scissors, for my quilting I have mainly Gingher. I’ve bought those for years, on sale, at JoAnns. Love them. My cross stitch are a mix of different kinds including Karen Kay Buckley which I really like. However I don’t “collect” scissors like some do. Jenna is a great speaker with the camera. Her coasters and bookmark are so pretty! I love books and usually read books that are fiction centered around the 1940’s or 1950’s.
I really enjoyed seeing all your wips and finishes. I didn't start out to collect scissors, but I noticed I have quite a few. I have household scissors throughout the house, my craft and quilt scissors are in my projects.
Hi ladies, Always love your videos and what you are stitching. I am not a scissor collector. I just buy cheap scissors and ones I recceive at retreats. I do however have one for each of my projects.
Love your show as always. My favorite genre is Thrillers. Bookmark. I love that all of you are very creative on your own ways. It brings a great blend of creativity to your show. I own one pair of stitchy scissors. Not cheap and not expensive. They just move from project to project for me.
I'm someone who just doesn't get the scissors obsession 😂. I've only got 2-3 tiny little sharp snips that get the job done just fine. Carol, your cardinal sampler is looking lovely, and Jenn, I really like how your Dureen Jones Christmas sampler is stitching up. The crystal reindeer look great too! Jenna, my son's girlfriend gave me one of those crochet kits of a little bunny a few months ago. I've really been wanting to try it, and now seeing your little animals, I am going to try to make that happen sooner rather than later. Enjoy the rest of your summer, girls!
Bookmark. I read Bible studies, mostly. Quilt books, knitting and crafting books, and how-tos. I bought a punch of snips to put into my project bags, have lots of cheapies, and a few of my mom's nice ones. I have a lot of them, but never seem to have a pair when I need them. Lol. Such a fun, busy time you're having. 😊that Christmas piece knocked my socks off! Need more time to stitch all the things you show!
Wonderful video! Always love when your daughter is able to pop on. My granddaughter (13 yo) also loves crocheting the Woobles. I did not realize they had skill levels! Oops! She never complains! LOL Bookmark-murder mysteries. I am not a scissor collector. I’d rather spend the money on stitching supplies. I use some old Gingher embroidery scissors I’ve had for probably 30 years and those little colorful snips you get at Amazon or at shops with the sheaths that are attached. Happy stitching!
Hi all. Thank you for the update. Congrats on all your lovely finishes! Enjoy your retreat and the Olympics! Hope the play is a smash hit! I like having scissors in each project bag. I have a mix, maybe 10? bought or gifted to me over the past 10-20 years, but occasionally buy mid-range ones when I see them. They must be pointed and cut to the tip. I'm culling the ones that don't cut well. I use silicon point protectors if the scissors don't come with a sheath. I finally found perfect tiny travel scissors that beat the tough Australian airline security rules and love them. ⚘️
Another great video- so nice to see the “princess”😊 I would love a bookmark- I read a wide variety of genres but mysteries are my favorite if I had to choose. I just pick scissors that will cut😂😂 I would rather spend $ on charts and threads than on expensive scissors. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching with us.
What a great video. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful projects - finished or in process. How wonderful to see the Princess again - she’s a lovely girl and it’s great that she’s crafting. We have called my eldest granddaughter Princess. She is 3 and last month her baby sister arrived so I suppose I now have 2 princesses! I have lots of scissors but no really good ones. I have a basket next to my stitchy spot where a few of them live but I don’t have them in each project - I wonder why! My reading is mainly done on kindle so I have no use of a b…….k but my genre would be a good murder mystery. Happy crafting to you all and thanks again. I’m also stitching, and watching, the Olympics.
Wonderful Flosstube Ladies awesome finishes. Very packed full of great conversation. The Princess did a beautiful job on her crafts she’s very talented . I’m not a big collector but I have the little ones in each project for some reason😂 the small ones you can get through the airport. Bookmark I love quilt fiction books. Take care
Beautiful projects! I love those Robin Pikens pieces. Scissors- I'm not a collector. I have a couple of the yarn tree pink and purple "cotton candy" scissors and I haven't found anything that cuts as well or that the blades slide over each other as smoothly. I want to try a dinky dyes scissors because they are cute and maybe a fancier looking yarn tree pair of scissors. Jenna, my favorite genre is historical romance.
I have lots of scissors. I have ginger embroidery scissors, I have stork scissors from years ago when my girls were young. I have Karen Kay Buckley assorted sizes scissors and Kai scissors and snips and others.
I love the bookmark, so colorful. Quilting fiction! I have a handful of scissors. Some cheap and some a little more expensive. Sometimes those cheap ones are 😂 pretty good
Hi Ladies - I am not a scissor collector. I have a pair of Gingher dress making shears that I have had for over 48 years. They are still super sharp. I also have two pairs of Gingher embroidery scissors that I use when I am doing any type of hand stitching including cross stitching. I also have Gingher duckbill scissors and pinking shears. Take Care
I read everything (including toothpaste tubes) and I guess lately historical fiction has been my genre of choice. I scatter scissors on every surface, toss them in every project bag, and still go looking for them sometimes. I have a couple of pairs of Cohanas that I love best of all for stitching. My Green Bell shears are the best dressmakers I’ve ever had, and I love Ginghers, too.
Enjoy you channel! A friend of mine just gave my daughter lots of diamond painting supplies yesterday and she is enjoying it! Love your coasters princess super cute! Thanks for the heads up on how to seal them. The bookmark is a great idea. I enjoy fiction 😊
Oh lordy did you ask the right question. Scissors? Do I love scissors? So glad you asked. I’m obsessed with smallish and very pointy scissors. If they have colored or decorative handles I love them even more. Each new pair becomes my favorite. I don’t have a lot of WIPs, but each one has a small bag that holds a small screwdriver (for my wooden Nurge hoops), a pair of tweezers and a pair of scissors, so I definitely use them. Visits to needle shops are rare as there is a dearth of ones near me, but I’ve started buying scissors at each shop as a remembrance. And now I want to buy a pair of (reasonably priced) scissors. ✂️ my price range is $10-$30.
Sew Sweet Shop is mostly a quilt shop, but also sells cross stitch. Great place to visit. Quilter’s Station is in Lee’s Summit, Mo. She’s also mostly quilting, but now carries a lot of cross stitch!! Since I am only 10 minutes away from Quilter’s Station I spend a lot of time and money there.😂 Love your videos.
Lovely video as usual. It was nice seeing the Princess she looks so grown up now. You’re such a beautiful family. I love Sci-Fi and Murder Mystery’s books to read. As for your scissors question I like to keep inexpensive scissors in every project. My favorite brand of quality scissors are KAI. ❤
No scissor collector here. I just have a few inexpensive pairs tucked here or there. I love murder mysteries and historical romance. Love your bookmark
I always enjoy your surveys. I always forget to add my choices. I would have chosen Shepherd's Bush. We visited them on a trip last summer and those ladies are jewels. I lamented the fact that all of the gazillion samples on their walls were so beautiful and too small counts for me. I'm 82 and pretty much have to use 14 count Aida. She sweetly told me she had a project just for me. She gave me fabric (I'm not sure the size, but it's big.} It kind of looks like gunny sack fabric. She even gave me a large needle. She showed me their lovely Prairie Schooler Santa pillows they make with this fabric. They use a variety of the Santas. so I could choose my favorite pattern. It was so kind of her. I don't even need my magnifiers to stitch it. They also encouraged our chatty, chatty fifteen year old telling her about a pioneer trek she was about to go on. These are popular activity in among we Mormons and the lady found a cute little project for her to make to take on Trek. We're planning another Utah trip the middle of the month so I'm going to show them my progress. As to the survey, I bought a lot of scissors when I first got back into stitching during Covid. I have scissors in all price ranges, I think, but the ones I use the most are an old pair of stainless steel fold-ups that I bought years ago. I've made myself quit buying scissors since I probably have enough to gift to all my granddaughters! Thanks for a fun post.
I just tuned to your channel and really enjoyed it. I'm not a big scissors collector, I just like them to be sharp. I am currently using a curved pair I got from Hobby Lobby and they're really nice.
I like all scissors, I will splurge on scissors for quilting, but rounded tip Fiskars for my project bags is just fine! I have repurposed old scissors from my girl's elementary days!
What fun you ladies are. Thanks for talking about House of Seven Gables. I did not know that there was a tourist location for that, I love the story and also Vincent Price did a horror movie. It was great. My scissors are not terribly expensive but not cheap. I have 1 for each WIP and then a extra pair by my stitching spot just in case. Also I have maybe 3 extra so I can switch out to better match them to the project I am working on. I prefer smaller scissors 3 inch size but have a few that are 5 or 6 inch. ✂️
This is the first of your videos I’ve watched, and I’ll definitely be adding your channel to my must-watch list. (I live in Newfoundland, Canada, and loved the project bag!☺️) I so enjoyed the life and crafting updates and info, and the review of the crochet kits was really great. I’m a pretty good knitter, but have never been able to catch on to crochet. I really love so many of the projects for crochet, so the kits you talked about might just be the thing! Thank you so much for all of the sharing!
Love all of the projects! I have a few pairs of scissors including 1 pair of DOVO scissors but ironically the pair I use the most is my cheapest pair. I love the bookmarks! My favorite genre of book is murder mystery/suspense - bookmark
Not a scissor collector. My go to is an inexpensive pair of “stork” scissors I got as a gift with subscription to a cross stitch magazine over 30 years ago.
Great to see all 3 of you!!:) When you recapped your vacation Jen, I am the one on instagram who reached out that my daughter lives in Newburyport, and yes, Plum Island has those horrible green head flies. I was just in Boston and met my daughter and mentioned your comment, and of course she had two bites to share with me. Love your House of the Seven Gables ornament...I have a trivet from there that is probably close to 40 years old, and a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments from our travels. I have a lot of magnets too on my refrigerator...have not had to spread out to the front door yet!! Love all that you share ladies. I am not a scissor collector at all. I have a few pair reserved for sewing and quilting, and a few for cross stitching, and mostly smaller ones that I can carry on an airplane. Enjoy August and Go U.S.A.!!
Love your flosstubes! Your daughter is adorable. My daughter has a degree in theatre and is the stage manager for the Missouri Reparatory Theatre in Kansas City Mo. She loves her job. Bookmark --historical fiction.
I will add a pair of cute scissors to round out a 123stitch order so I have a collection of about a dozen pairs which I keep in current dip bags. My favorite book genre is historical fiction.
Bookmark - Historical Fiction. I do like to collect scissors, but not to an extreme. I have about 20 pairs of embroidery scissors mostly Gingher designer scissors. I do have a few inexpensive scissors that I bought only because they were pretty, but they are not very sharp and I do not use them. Great video today.
I got a birthday present of kai scissors which I use mainly for pompoms and cutting out fabric shapes where a wheel doesn't work, and lots of quite sharp, 12 for £10 scissors and some pretty tiny scissors for threads. No one else touches the kai ones! Mainly because I fear for their fingers, they are sharp!
I’m so happy to have found your channel! Jen, I met you at Stitch-Con. I sat directly behind you at the Texan table and admired all of your stitching projects. I am not a scissor collector yet. My favorite pair are Omnigrips. Bookmark-Mystery.
I always enjoy your videos! I hope to catch some Olympics. I love to read and love a good Bookmark. My fav genre is usually fiction, just a good story. I will veer to murder mysteries, some Stephen King, occasionally. And I enjoy reading through cookbooks!
Beautiful projects ladies. Bookmark - Murder mysteries! Scissors - I just have a couple pair of small scissors from a big box store. I usually have only one or 2 projects in process at any time.
Karol, I am like you, I can not see blood. I faint, one time I even hit my head on the floor, it is not funny. Stitchy Fence is adorable!!! I do not collect scissors. It was nice to see the princess, she is a copy of Jennifer. Her diamond painting is so beautiful.
I love scissors! They don’t have to be expensive. If I think they’re cute, then I need them. I also have my mother’s scissors, and my grandmother’s. These are precious to me. My book genre is Scottish highlanders, as in Outlanders. Don’t know if that’s a genre or not, but it’s what I like.
First of all your daughter/princess is adorable and sweet. Bookmark-genre is murder mystery or romance. I’m a collector of scissors as well, I won’t buy Cohana scissors but I love cute, great quality scissors. As always. It’s always fun to see you two.
On the subject of scissors, when you’re talking, Crosstitch, I pretty much have one pair of scissors that I use all the time and move from one thing to the next and one pair of travel scissors in a little plastic covered tiny things. Now if you’re gonna talk quilting and sewing scissors, that’s a whole different ball game.
great projects thanks for sharing. Scissors collector OMG another new thing to collect :) - no I don't (currently collect scissors) I really like inexpensive small ones that come three in a pack (love the pink ones) from Amazon. While I only read digitally thought I would share my preferred genre - I call it beach reading - easy reads preferably with a bit of a mystery/crime basis. Enjoy the Olympic stitching.
Bookmark. I am a big Robert Galbraith fan (J.K. Rowling is the actual author). She writes a series of books that are murder mysteries so I would have to say murder mysteries are my favorite. Best wishes to The Princess and the Prince in their academic endeavors!
The most expensive pair of scissors I have is Gingher. I love scissors, but I can’t see spending a large amount of money on a pair. I have cheap scissors off of Amazon that are functional enough for me. I love crime fiction ie John Sandford or Lee Child. One can always use a good bookmark.
Carol, Jennifer and Jenna...good to see you all...lovely bookmarker..I love to read all types of books...I have several types of small scissors..my husband collects Dollar Tree scissors because my kids were always using my good ones to cut paper and open chips bag's...Dying to Stitch is located in Virginia Beach and produce R & R fabrics...best wishes and happy Olympic watching❤
No, I'm not a scissors collector. I have about 30 😂 If I see a pair of embroidery scissors that I find cute or pretty, I will buy it...but I don't buy the very expensive ones. I tend to not pay more than $10-14. The only exception is the one I got engraved with my old nickname "Danish Stitcher" 😊 I'm also doing Stitchthesummerolympics...and my new start on Day 1 is because of Carol. You once showed the Winter Silhouette pattern, and I had to buy it 😅 I recently finished making it Pattern Keeper-compatible so I could start it. Take care. KR Esther
I have a pair of embroidery scissors that were in a subscription box from Fat Quarter Shop. That's it for crafting. Bookmark. Science Fiction (Deathlands series) and true crime.
Celine Dion was magnificent! I had goose bumps listening to her. Bookmark- Historical Non-Fiction. Scissors- I like my Kai. Not a collector. Love the quilt, Carol. Love your videos, Ladies!
What a treat to have The Princess join y'all on the video today! I ❤ to read fiction and biography mostly. I don't really have any fancy scissors but if someone gifted me some I would enjoy them. Lol Bookmark
Cute bookmark, lately I've only read Cookbooks!! I have a decent collection of embroidery scissors, my favorites are by Gingher w/sheaths. I think my oldest Gingher pair is so lightweight, pewter in color, they are well over 30+ years old & I use them every day. And one that was called lift & snip, has a notched blade, great for frogging. I have some others, but nothing too expensive. I've seen Scissors at my LNS from $80 & Up, no thanks, I'd rather buy more charts & fabrics with that money. I have the Fiskar travel scissors in the orange & lilac colors, a few from Yarn tree, Dinky Dyes, and 1 of those mini ones with the matching cover, in Pink. It would be nice to have 1 for each WIP :) Thanks for having your daughter on, fun video.
Love you guys!!! You always have it together!! I’d love to stitch for summer Olympics. I know you are fans…. me…. Not so much🤷♀️ I’m not sure why tho🤷♀️
Thank you for your kind words about our Canadian icon, Celine Dion. She's not had an easy life but has carried on with grace and her voice continues to thrill us all.
Oh scissors … I can’t justify those fancy expensive scissors just to cut thread. I have Gingher and Fiskars for sewing, and various scissors for cross stitch, cute ones, cheap ones, teeny ones. It all cuts the floss.
Enjoyed our visit today. I love to read cozy mysteries and historical fiction and always have a bookmark for each one. I have a variety of scissors for different sewing and crafting. I have Ginghers and Kai and lots of the little colorful ones that you find at the counter in the LNS or LQS. I love the little bags from Shepherds Bush that Carol showed. You enabled me and I am currently working on Stitching calms the soul.
Always enjoy your visits. I love reading historical fiction and nonfiction. I also enjoy autobiographies and biographies. Princess, it was nice to see your accomplishments. Your diamond painting is so cool. Please visit again. Loved the bookmark. I have several pairs of scissors but I use the ones that I have had for over 40 years. They are still in great shape.
Hi! Great show again ladies. I live in Ogden, Utah and Shepherd’s Bush is a treasure. A must see for any visiting cross stitcher! Lovely shop and the owners are so helpful😃
So neat to see three generations together and enjoying each other's company and interests! Scissors are a necessity in my mind not something I collect. I have two good pairs (Zwilling/Henckel & Gugenheim) that I've been using exclusively for embroidery for many years. If I'm traveling, I take a small collapsable pair for my stitching needs. Love the bookmark question. My favorite genres are historical-fiction and mysteries. I look forward to our next visit.
Lovely to see the three generations together on the channel again! Lovely projects as always, ladies. I am not a collector of scissors but have two pair of Ginghers and several other even less expensive pairs and snips.
Such a pretty quilt of the day, Carol! Thank you for sharing Jenna with us😊 So fun to see what she’s been working on! As for a bookmark, my favorite genre is historical fiction - especially when it’s rooted in true events. Scissors - I don’t collect. I do have a special pair that I always use (and actually have my 2nd pair because I wore the finish off the 1st pair). They are Gingher embroidery scissors with large finger grips. I do have several other pairs, generally tiny pairs to use when I’m away from my stitchy spot. As always, thank you for sharing!💚 See you soon!
Lovely stitching as always. The quilt of the day is gorgeous. I love the little Woobles. I'm so tempted to try one. The bookmark is beautiful. I read Mystery and SciFi/Fantasy. Happy Stitching! My current favorite scissors are Sew Mate Rainbow Thread Cutters. I have a few pairs all in purple 💜 I do have some other random ones and a few pairs of Ginghers that I hide from the family because they are only for fabric and threads
I love your princess’ discussion on her wobbles hobby. I love to bookmark in my ebook historical fiction. I could use a bookmarker for physical books. I love my small Gingher scissors for my main at home project and I use the cheaper small scissors for a random pick up and go project because I would be sad to lose my Gingher!
I enjoy romance with comedy books. I love your bookmark! I like having a pair of scissors in every project bag. All my scissors are cheap. I love the fun colors & patterns on scissors!
Nice to see the Princess and her projects. I like historical fiction best. I have a handful of scissors and have to stop myself from buying more. I have one pair of “good” scissors and approximately 12 pairs of inexpensive ones.
Great video! Being a former school librarian, you'd think I'd have lots of bookmarks, but honestly I've used the same laminated one for the last couple of years. I enjoy historical fiction and any books by my favorite authors. My favorite pair of scissors is a pair of Gingher's, which was gifted to me by a fellow stitcher. I received it after her death. I think of her each time I pick up the scissors. I also have a half dozen tiny scissors with the attached cover.
So fun to see The Princes. My favorite bookmark to read is mystery
Hi ladies, love that quilt behind you.
Lovely to see all three of you ❤
Great projects all around 🎉
I have two scissors, one in my stitching station and one for stitching on the go
Always love your videos! Love that you both are stitchers and quilters…just like me. Don’t change a thing in your videos. Perfection❣️
Thank you!

Have a great time at your retreat!! Thanks so much!!!
I have tons of scissors, the cheaper the better as long as they cut. My good ones stay home. My favorite bookmark book genre is medical mystery.
I loved
hearing about the crochet toys and banners!

Great time.. Jen love your Christmas works. I am on a mission to find them.
I'm not a collector of scissors but don't complain when they come my way. My favorite pair right now are actually from the dollar tree.
I collect a few scissors, but nothing expensive. I would love a bookmark, my favorite thing to read is historical fiction. Thanks for the video!!
Not a scissor collector, but like Premax scissors with curved tips. Love the quilt and all the projects, happy stitching!
Favorite is biographies. Thank you!
Take care
So many great projects. Love the cowl. I knitted a bunch of scarves but it never gets cold enough here to wear them. 🙄😄
Love the book marks. My favorite genre is romance with a murder mystery
I love the pumpkin Jen. I love your cowl too
I love the diamond painted bookmark. I also do diamond painting. My favorite books are murder mysteries
Sometimes those cheap ones are 😂
pretty good
Thanks for sharing ❤
I love y’all! Y’all should do another weekend for y’all’s retreat! I would love to spend time with y’all! I’m down in the Houston area💜💜
Hi ladies. I am a scissor snob and like all types and sizes.
Aww, love your story about Shepherd’s Bush - these stores are special because they appreciate all types of stitchers!
One pair, ginger snips.
Welcome and thanks so much for watching! She's had a really good time with the Woobles kits.
Love all of the projects! I have a few pairs of scissors including 1 pair of DOVO scissors but ironically the pair I use the most is my cheapest pair. I love the bookmarks! My favorite genre of book is murder mystery/suspense - bookmark
I’ve collected several from box memberships/mysteries. I prefer the mini cheap travel scissors ❤❤❤❤❤
I like scissors that are easy to find from my bobbin pile on the table. Fiskars are easy to see.
Love your flosstubes! Your daughter is adorable. My daughter has a degree in theatre and is the stage manager for the Missouri Reparatory Theatre in Kansas City Mo. She loves her job. Bookmark --historical fiction.
That’s so cool, would love to connect our daughters so mine could learn from yours!
I will add a pair of cute scissors to round out a 123stitch order so I have a collection of about a dozen pairs which I keep in current dip bags. My favorite book genre is historical fiction.
My favorite book genre is Urban Fantasy. Bookmark.
Thanks so much Lynne, it was great to meet you and look forward to staying in touch via flosstube!
I always enjoy your videos! I hope to catch some Olympics. I love to read and love a good Bookmark. My fav genre is usually fiction, just a good story. I will veer to murder mysteries, some Stephen King, occasionally. And I enjoy reading through cookbooks!
I just have a few scissors, I don't collect them. Jen glad you enjoyed your vacation in Massachusetts. My daughter lives in Salem MA.
I can't imagine how busy that city is in the fall! What a neat place to live though :)
Beautiful projects ladies. Bookmark - Murder mysteries! Scissors - I just have a couple pair of small scissors from a big box store. I usually have only one or 2 projects in process at any time.
🌻🌻🌻
I have a lot of small scissors - and like to keep one with each project. Non of them are expensive.
Love your videos. I am a cheap scissor person because I lose them all the time.
great projects thanks for sharing.
I live about 20 miles from holiday world! We have season passes!
I would too if I lived that close - it’s a great park!
No, I'm not a scissors collector. I have about 30 😂
If I see a pair of embroidery scissors that I find cute or pretty, I will buy it...but I don't buy the very expensive ones. I tend to not pay more than $10-14.
The only exception is the one I got engraved with my old nickname "Danish Stitcher" 😊
I'm also doing Stitchthesummerolympics...and my new start on Day 1 is because of Carol. You once showed the Winter Silhouette pattern, and I had to buy it 😅
I recently finished making it Pattern Keeper-compatible so I could start it.
Take care.
KR
Esther
Glad to hear you've found and started Winter Silhouette!
Always enjoy your flosstube- was another great one!
I have a pair of embroidery scissors that were in a subscription box from Fat Quarter Shop. That's it for crafting. Bookmark. Science Fiction (Deathlands series) and true crime.
Love the pine cones on Jen’s Christmas piece. Love the red cardinal piece
Great show girls! Love seeing your daughter. I don’t collect all the do-dads. I have one pair of Henkel 100 mm sizzors my mom gave me 30-35 years ago.
I enjoy romance with comedy books. I love your bookmark! I like having a pair of scissors in every project bag. All my scissors are cheap. I love the fun colors & patterns on scissors!
Bookmark favorite book cozy mysteries. Great job ladies.
Beautiful quilt! Love the guest host. You two are Olympic gold! So much fun to see you.
