To be honest, I don't remember measuring it (or even thinking about it). But in the US at least there only seem to be two standard thicknesses, and looking at the video this one looks like it's 1 3/8 rather than 1 3/4 which I would visually have more space either side of the countersunk plate. I hope that helps. I'll measure it next time I'm out at the A-frame with a tape measure and double check for you.
I don’t know what to say, I have no affiliation with Irwin. But having never installed a lock from scratch before I found this kit very easy to use, and as you can see from the video I ended up with a perfectly functioning lock install as a result. What didn’t work for you? I’m genuinely curious.
@lumberingshenanigans I had wobbly hole saws and the drill bit for hole saw was to long. Buggered up my door. I got through mine. Irwin could have done better. Glad yours turned out well for you tho!🙂
@@stevenpepka8267 the drill bit is supposed to be longer than the hole saw so you can find the centre of where you're going. are you working on a door with existing holes?
what is the thickness of the door?

I just bought and used this Irwin (irlose) install kit, worst kit ever, hope you got through it.
