- We've had quite a few requests to get an update on Mike's favorite distributed ledger project, HBAR. So today, sit back and relax as you hear about some of the amazing things happening within the Hedera (HBAR) ecosystem. You may remember Mike first mentioning Hashgraph in Episode 8 of his series 'Hidden Secrets of Money'. That was late 2017, and at that stage Hashgraph was just a white paper and a private network. HBAR has only dropped in value, a steady downhill since its inception.

@@human1513 well since its inception it was 3 cents since it was listed on coingecko in 2019, ran to 50 cents, now it’s 7 cents so I wouldn’t call it a downhill. Volatile, absolutely. I witnessed Bitcoin go from $1000 to $20k back to $3k and people said it was done, then it ran to $65k.

Mike, I recently kinda of finished your hidden secrets of money series (still missing 2 episodes), I stopped when you were talking about crypto and then I went out to look for information regarding that. After that I was doing some research regarding hash graph and then I got to this video. While I was watching that, a video just popped up in the recommeded videos section, and that was a video talking about BLACKROCK plus a few major companies choosing HBAR as it's standard crypto. And that was like, 2 hours ago. This is HUGE! Thank you so much for your help. I'm from brazil where we do not get many chances to propsperity. I don't know how to thank you enough. Just like we all did with Gold and Silver investing with you.
For decades i knew that i should´ve been investing in gold and silver, but i never knew how to do it properly, safely and all in one place... So, that is what i am proposing (begging you) here... if you could guide us through the process in simple steps to get involved with HBAR investing, just as you did

Unfortunately I just don't have the time do do this - I have two more books on the way and a new video series. Keep researching, and learn as much as you can. Brandon's channel is a great place to start.

It’s a technical swing trading course that teaches how to look at charts and understand momentum and probabilities. In it he walks through how to open an investment account and connect a broker. And what a broker is. Fair warning he’s very ADHD so he’s kinda the opposite of Maloney, all over the place but it’s simple enough.
Hedera is doing great with their Marketing this year. Last couple of years they were lagging a little despite so much potential of the technology they are bringing.

I was really sceptical, even though being excited hearing about it in the episode of HSoM, untill he started talking about micro payments, better then "Drop" and without intermediair. Great stuff, I was interested and I'm getting more interested. Probably for about 1-5% of capital.

I've noticed that some of Mike's audience are all in gold and silver investors or traders. I'd say that many are pretty hard core and consider anything or most anything outside of gold and silver to be somehow the enemy. I owned silver and gold long before the hashgraph was invented and still do. I feel fortunate that there is room in my mind and my portfolio to learn about and invest in both precious metals and Hbars. Because I am always learning and after reading the two free chapters, I am looking forward to reading Mike's entire new book. Great interview Mike and Brandon !

Help me understand. …1. when the on and off ramps get closed or blocked or frozen or controlled ? . 2. When the grid goes down or electricity gets rationed or grid has problems as we overload it.? 3. Why does your accountant have to go through and track and report every little rise and fall throughout rhe year , as I experienced. ? Please help
I do like Hedera in comparison to many other crypto.
Would be nice to walk us dinosaurs through how to actually buy something like this, including "wallets" and whatever else you need!
I should add, i know you can buy Hbar directly from Blade wallet in most currencies. But may cost a little bit more than going directly with an exchange.

Hibar already exists. They make precision pumps, controls and batteries. They were bought by Tesla a while back for their battery technology

Gold is a infinite supply, manipulated by the miners and large corporations…Gold is I would suggest just a hedge not and increasing asset, it’s price increases over time as does the S and P, yet neither have broken away for the inflation restraints that Bitcoin does…It’s hard to store, usually a bank, which means you don’t own the gold… and the bank can lend out against it… my opinion…
Get in early, wait for suckers to buy and inflate the price, sell. Great advice for early adopters of crypto or tulip bulbs.

Excellent Interview. With all of that substance and content it makes one wonder why we would buy any crypto other than Hedera?! "Hello Future" indeed! Once the broader population understands this technology and demand for HBAR becomes mainstream the price will skyrocket and more importantly, the utility will likely touch every aspect of our daily lives.
Maybe becouse this interview prooved there is nothing Hedera could do that another hundred other crypto would not be able to. DeFi, DLT, smart contracts, tokenization, etc. will change our world that's for sure. But still... There are hundreds of cryptos that are not slower, not less secure, not less decentrlised and not more expensive than HBAR. Hedera is a great project just like many other crypto projects. Xlm, Xrp, Ada, Theta, Algo and the list goes on. This interview is just paid by Hedera IMHO.

They are both decentralized networks. Just bitcoin has no utility other than a store of value and has done that very well so far.

@@MrDingaling007 government resistant… really, as if a crypto as duck will make it through regulations. Bitcoin is equivalent to gold and every crypto is back by bitcoin. So yes Apple and oranges, but there is not such thing as decentralization when an entity can own a blockchain and manipulate it.
Hey Mike, I tried to buy Hedera online and is kind of confusing, how can I buy for a real company with a customer service team that I can talk to?
I’d suggest Coinbase or Bittrex
My advice would be buying it on Binance and then sending them to the HashPack wallet where you can stake your Hbar‘s

Yes it has ledger support, you can stake natively for 6.5% return directly from ledger. You do hold your own keys and Hedera will soon provide a solution for recovering keys. The bulk of Hbars that come onto market from here are for growing the ecosystem.

My other investment is in Bar Stock, I-Beam, Angle Iron, Round and Square Tubing. All in stainless, aluminum and steel respectively.
