Technologically, the Hashgraph represents Occam’s Razor, in that it’s mathematically impossible to improve upon its method to reach immutable consensus (the backbone of distributed ledgers) and its governance model is unique. Unlike other tech, it has Formal Proofs (it works exactly as designed)…replacement within the next 100 years is unlikely. I agree, it can never replace the real value of physical commodities/assets…that’s not its goal. Instead, it’s the fastest, fairest, cheapest, and most secure ledger to transact using Tokens of your physical assets. Hedera makes it possible for you to exchange your gold and silver for services/assets, peer to peer with other parties-no middleman and no trust needed.

Just at to stop at the 4.15 mark to say, a comment from each Brandon and Mike sum it up so very well for mine.
1. Brandon: That while people think of Hedera as an enterprise network, its not. Its about meeting those standards which then covers everyone. All us retail types get exactly the same feature at the same price that Google, IBM and so on get.
2. Mike: Hedera is a distributed ledger being built for real life use cases, not speculation. Demand from using the network will always be there. At the end of the day all networks other than Bitcoin and perhaps ETH (because for now people seem happy to pay huge transaction fees there) all others will need enough transaction to paying network incentives or they die.
The answer is BSV. Period.

But a written ledger is never the money itself, because YOUR OWN money, when held personally in your own hands, does not require anyone to keep track of it for you!!
- In the best case scenario, the sole purpose of a ledger is to track and trace ownership, but in the worst case scenario, it is to track and trace a population for total control.
- If you have a ledger written out on paper, with no underlying physical asset, then it is just a worthless piece of paper. It's a physical claim check on nothing. If it is a digital ledger, then it is just a worthless digital record, that is a claim check on nothing.

I like mike, I dabble in some hbar as it sounds like good tech, but this gave me a commercial vibe!
Question - what is the total capitalisation of all the governing council combined? Avery Dennison owns numerous large companies alone.
If we were to do a back of the envelope calculation and guesstimate that they could all be worth 2 trillion then if they choose to tokenize their assets in future what ecosystem will they be likely to use?
If Hbar is the required "gas" fee to pay to operate on these future networks then what could we expect rhe value of this to rise to?
Any indicators as to when full tokenization will take place? 3, 4 or 5 yrs time? I've only been in the Hbar space since 2021 and no other token has the adaptability, lo cost, speed as Hbar. Bar none this is the most interesting utility token. At a dime a pop it's currently a bargain. With over 35 billion in circulation with a max supply of 50 billion there will be a mid term future when all tokens are in circulation and they will be a necessity to pay network fees, however low they may be, on a global scale.
They will never tokenize more than a small fraction of their capitalization any time in the next ten years. Most have no intention of tokenizing anything. Most aren't even using the tech, for that matter. The GC membership simply means just that.... Some low executive helping govern hedera. The money and power of the GC members is NOT at Hedera's disposal.

11:11 having GC members in south africa is nice to know. However the biggest BRICS players are missing: Russia, China. If Hedera truly wishes to be decentralized I recommend seriously considering them and stop promoting or donating to Ukraine ( effectively donating to war ) as happened in the past, as a solidarity move that only damages Hedera image in the long run. Unless your token gives you the right to get your gold from a depository, I don't want it. Not to mention government meddling if this was ever to be adopted on a large scale.
I'd still do not understand what gives the Hedera token value other than the hope that someone will buy it from you for a higher price than you paid. I fully understand how cool the Hedera system is, and obviously the companies who are using it make money. But that money goes to the company, not to me as the owner of a Hedera token. I just don't get it. Can someone enlighten me on this subject?

The idea is that the transactions and fees are paid in HBAR. So if Hedera Hashgraph is successful, HBAR demand rises and its value goes up.
You can't run anything at all on hedera without buying hbar to pay the fees on the network, simple as that. When a company like Neuron will do 250k transactions per second. Or EDF. Or Dell. Than the buy pressure will be constant because they have to buy hbars on the open market.

I fell down this rabbit hole over a decade ago and have been educating myself for that entire time - this on top of educating myself in more traditional financial products as far back as the 80's. And yes, I can imagine passing up on very large gains. I could have gotten multiple bitcoin under $1, don't care. To take what I have it will take quite a bit more than a hack or a power outage.
I will stick with what is tangible, what is real. At the end of the day, if you can't hold it or live on it, you don't really own it. And Mike has also covered "The Great Taking", owning anything of an electronic nature goes directly counter to his warnings about that. ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

Disagree completely. There is a reason all these companies are building on Hedera and not other projects. Fixed fees at .001 for a transaction is one reason. It is the only ABFT secured crypto project and immune to quantum computing hack. It is growing more decentralized with every new governing council member added (who run a node), with a rollout for the expansion private nodes in the roadmap. Just do a little more research and you’ll see why this makes sense, and why Mike is covering it. The use cases are immense.
