Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago, The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

I always joke that you are my honorary dad, my advisor and guide. I have read each one of your books (looking forward to the next one) since 10 years+ and I was able to transform my life. BTW I am an African woman (former refugee) who had no one to turn to and your books inspired me and helped me through the worst of situations. I wish you all good things in your life. Thank you again!

That's my favorite chapter of my favorite book. After reading it for the first time, I almost cried. Changing your attitude is life changing and what I personally needed to change the most and still need to improve each day. Like Ryan Holiday says in Ego Is The Enemy:
“My friend the philosopher and martial artist Daniele Bolelli once gave me a helpful metaphor. He explained that training was like sweeping the floor. Just because we’ve done it once, doesn’t mean the floor is clean forever. Every day the dust comes back. Every day we must sweep.”
He's talking about Ego, but I still think it applies to basically anything, including the attitude.

I appreciate this outlook, but there is a little to it that has more to it than what is said here. If you fail at a business venture, that's not a "so be it" and that's it sortof outcome. There's serious financial consequences to failing, and it's gonna take more than attitude to recover from that particular failure. It's gonna take a LOT of time AND luck.

Calling out on someone's behaviour is an absolutely perfect strategy to give people a reality check. This starts with simple statements like "I know what you're doing". Statements like "don't talk to me like that" and I won't tolerate this behaviour" are powerful statements because reputation is extremely important to narcissistic individuals. It not only discourages them but also infuriates them. Be careful it can also make them violent like a mad dog. I have implied this strategy mostly as a last resort and I have gotten mixed results. Correct me if I'm wrong

I have always been really interested in the Jungian concept of the shadow and how to integrate that more into your life. I feel often in life we are expected to appear well put together because of this we often are not aware of the deeper parts of ourselves and we ignore it or worse actively try to suppress it. How do we integrate the shadow in a way that allows us to live life well and be a full person living and breathing as we are.

This video is very confusing and it seems to be singling out one type of person. Anxiety happens in a lot of cases, if not all, from trauma. You can't think away trauma or adjust on will. What about the other types of people that could use changing? the perfectionist, the overly confident/narcissists? Judging someone's way of acting and calling it "attitude" feels like more pressure on some of us to try harder when we have already exhausted ourselved to fit in, and are finally finding ways to lower the stress and the striving. I think it's plenty ok to find our own way of being in the world. Are you anxious? Don't put yourself in situations where you will be triggered. Work on it but also know that you have a way of being (for whatever reasons this happened), and respect it. I can't stand pressure to fit in anymore. Perhaps because I am not older and wiser.

As a person of faith called to do a mission by GOD I am not at all in control of my own life. Have you written anything on Faith?
I would have many of your points more meaningful 20 years ago when I was still in control of my life. But I gave that all up to follow an idea that is bigger than my life. I made a choice to follow GOD's decisions and I have no way to back out of that decision now.
You speak a lot about what other people think and believe about an individual and how they can deal with that. But with a person like me other people's opinions are meaningless. The only opinion I worry about is GOD's opinion. The only choice I worry about is GOD's choice. These words must sound completely foreign to you.
