I feel exactly the same. Have to stop every video from him after 5 Minutes. Because he gives so much deep informations. That you first have to think about them.
You are one of the most inspiring people I have ever met, you are as real as can be and it's hard to find the words to say how much I appreciate your work. It's so wonderful and so good I love you so much
To understand this world more better,It began with clear thoughts, clear logic , right? But i am confused still world is changing we don't know divine secrete that we all deserve to know because its creates our future .
No clown suits, no political affiliation, no drama, no attention seeking, no controversies, no nervous breakdowns on screen like Jordan Peterson kind of people. Just a man with plain intention to help people navigate life better, patterns & methods. Stay blessed Mr.Robert
I am truly grateful to see my favorite author, Robert Green sharing this type of discipline with those people out there who perhaps have not mastered this super activity of the Mind, which I have been engaging for over 20 years. I can not be grateful enough to Robert Green for having taught me the art of reading people's double-dealing and their machiavellian vicious ways to screw us up through his phenomenal books, especially, Human Nature, and the 48 Laws of Powers. Thank you so much for being there and teaching us so much Divine wisdom. May you be well and blessed for all you shared and how you continue to make an effort to remain active despite your stroke. I'm keeping you in my prayers my darling.
Hello Robert, from Colombia, I have read your books, specifically the laws of Power and human nature, at least 7 or 8 times a year ago, they truly changed my life. I just want to leave you a message of deep gratitude. I hope to meet you one day.
@@bryjbry Yes, I share the exact same experiences from day to day. It really is true. When I just try to stay calm and balanced most of the time, there are days when I'm just so frustrated and angry, and I don't even know why and can't control it. I just have to get through the next day until everything is fine again.
At 57 years old - I personally found your books and you TH-cam channel- I have profoundly changed for the better - your approach should be taught in pre k all the way through for a foundation. My parents were damaged it not there fault I do not blame them- the residue of there behavior has take my life on a roller coaster that you teaching n books along with Buddhism has uplifted my quality of life so much!!! Thank You
Robert, you are worth gold for these tools we can use. It's been my thought, "This is not fixable:," It's a lifelong effort.at 66. Thank you for the tool kit.
You are one of the most inspiring people I have ever met, you are as real as can be and it's hard to find the words to say how much I appreciate your work. It's so wonderful and so good I love you so much
OMG, this could not have come at a better time! The message here really resonated deeply with me, I felt so understood and the way Robert talked about discarding one's anxieties sounds so simple but something about its expression, and the fact that it's coming from him, makes me feel more confident in not letting intrusive thoughts worry me more than they need to. Robert is like the father we all wish we had ❤.
I may not know you but I'm proud of you. I had a drug addiction. So I know how hard what you did was. So keep strong and remember that 1 drink could mean another 12345678 more uears. Just to have to start over again. It's not worth it.
people never do things once, you might have improved alot good job and respect for that .but sadly it doesn't mean it will not pop out in the future someway ..the best strategy here is to be aware of your dark behavior and patterns so that you can use them constructively
Thank you so much for these exercises. I haven't commented on the last months, but instituting each one daily has made me get to this one capable of finally not just seeing the patterns and trying to 'not' but restructuring my thought process on every level. I have gained so much, and your thoughtfulness is aspirational, I am grateful for your books and videos. I know you know this but people don't always say things. so I try to when it's really impactful and a grace.
You can let it go and let them go but don’t let yourself go. You need to be godly courageous to realize that when they never let you go you just go and let them go.
its robert greene the goat himself, if not for you I would be just another sheep. thank you for all the knowledge and insights you shared with us. we are very greatfull for it
The exercises are the perfect adding to the books. Exactly what I need in my life! Thank you for making my thinking more smooth and giving room for directing my energy better!
Robert the first time I started reading 48 laws of power I got a little bit frightened. Halfway through law #2 I had to set the book down for a while and then I started reading 1 law a month. Eventually I got so comfortable/EXCITED to read every page one after another. I gained a new sense of hope and understanding. I learned several important things but the 2 that stand out are 1. Despise the free lunch 2. DO NOT TAKE IT PERSONAL I have bought 3 of your books and I plan to buy every single one you have written Thank you Thank you Thank you!!
Robert, this is the best advice I've ever gotten from you. About a month ago I was listening to the Laws of Human Nature while driving Uber and this part about compulsive thoughts was the single most salient part. I listened to it twice. I keep a journal every day going back 11 years but never really read any of it. Now I've made a project to read all my journals and actually recognize and think about these patterns you were talking about. I subscribe to the New York Times, so why the fuck am I constantly clicking on baity headlines from MSN? It's totally compulsive. I found ways to eliminate tempting news links from my web browser and I made it more difficult for myself to access Facebook and Instagram. Anyways I'm experiencing more clarity and less stress by taking this all head on.
thank you Robert ! very interesting, i will listen to it again and again until i can apply your advices to just let go, i feel it can help to change a lot of sadness in my life. thank you so much for sharing your experience!
Eric Bernes great book Games People Play is relevant to this video, and identifies repetitive behaviour patterns ( the games ) which happen over and over and over again. These games are all about experiencing a feeling which which we have a compulsive need to feel. This might be a feeling of righteous anger we get from punishing other people, or a futile need to reexperience a feeling of rejection or shame. Challenging the patterns as RG says is really all we can do, but it is difficult to budge them , our psyche is determined to keep bringing up the issue/issues of our early life. Towards the end of the book Berne says there is a continuous battle '' to avoid falling back into the old ways'' , and in another of his books ( I forget which one ) Berne speaks of the prospect of ''putting a new show on the road.'' Keep at it is the motto I guess.
This is so true! Watch your thoughts and realize how crazy they are. Once you fully realize this your thoughts won’t carry as much weight and therefore not trigger your emotions so much. Just watch them come and go like you would in meditation.
Thank you so much. I was really needing to hear exactly this. How to break these obsessive intrusive thoughts. I even felt guilty even though I didn’t consent to them. Thank you 🙏🏻
For me, i literally pray genuinely to god universe buddha emptiness.... that truth within me "please discard this" without any sentimentality or romanticism, and i truly do let go of those thoughts. Whether it is a positive thought or negative. 😅. Since thought itself is a self centered activity. The key is not to be too romantic or sentimental in prayer. Anyway, thank you for such work Mr. Greene 😅.
I’d be curios as to how this would work/relate with people with ASD; as with ASD it’s not thoughts, but feelings in how the nervous system responds to stimuli, which can me managed but not controlled or “let go of”. Of course there’s still thoughts surrounding such things but I’d be curios to learn more in that aspect.
