Adding a character the vast majority of players will never see and will only hear rumours about from friends is a great idea. It’s clear why the game got so popular online with touches like that.

fnaf 1 has always been scary, it's just that once you know and understand the game, the scare factor kinda disappears as you say though, it's nice to see someone go through their first experience with a timeless classic like this one

@@counterfeit1148 I think it is possible, but it’s a statistical anomaly. Foxy only has a chance to move (based on his AI level) when the camera hasn’t been looked at. The chance just gets really high on the later nights, but I don’t think it’s guaranteed until 4/20 mode

It's actually amazing how the FNAF games are quite old and have been played a lot, yet there's still plenty of misinformation about certain things, like Golden Freddy's appearance in FNAF1, or Blacklisted ending in Pizza Sim.
Having Phisnom add some commentary made this video even funnier. The guy is remaking FNaF 1 so if anyone knows how this game works (besides Scott) it’d be him, which makes him watching and critiquing your gameplay so much funnier since you can just hear the agony in his voice

fun fact: when you first died on night 2, if that was uncut, that means even that was lucky because you died so fast basically from what i know freddy has a chance when you run out of power every 0.8 something seconds to move into his next phase and he has 4 or 3 phases and you died in like 5 seconds
According to the tech rules fnaf 1 decompiled vid (which is mostly correct) it has 3 phases, and the first 2 have a 50% chance to continue every second (iirc, it also caps out at 20 seconds max for both phases) and the final phase has a 2% to continue every second, so its pretty unlucky for them

I've seen golden Freddy so much on FNAF one across Xbox android a tablet and my switch so it's not that rare what seems rarer is the boot up screens wich I've only ever gotten the FNAF two withered foxy one FNAF one has been out for so long though

I calucated the props accoring how much time each night lasted from beging to the last time you check the camera 2B here are the times in seconds: 465, 450, 430, 330, 330, 525, 525, 500, 225, 65 (+70), 160, 250, 270, 125, 70, 120 (I noticed that later nights you barely never check the 2B camera, so this is reason why it is so rare after early nights.) So it took you about 3845 seconds (64 min) to encounter two golden freddies or 4910 second (82min) before you beat the night 5 So there was 4.91% change to get a golden freddy in your stream or 0.241% (one in 414) to see two golden freddies in your stream. But from the beginning there is only 3.845%*3.845% = 0.14784% (one in 676) change to get those two golden freddies that early. I am very sure that these are the most accurate numbers here in comments, but that is still very very lucky to get

Actually one factor you forgot about is this: The chances of encountering Golden Freddy go down when you remember that you don’t spend the whole game on camera 2b
For me, I have a strategy that works incredibly well for nights 3-6. It doesn't work for 20/20/20/20 more, but basically I check right light, left light, camera up and down and just repeat that the whole night until I either make it to 6 am or run out of power. The reason this doesn't work for night 7 is because of freddy. He moves around so fast that I can't catch him on any camera so I use the basic method of keeping the camera on 4b and doing that other strategy, only I close the right door if I wanna check on foxy
The best way is setting camera to east corner, and then the pattern right door, camera, left door, camera, repeat. Only checking on foxy very occasionally

As a matter of fact "only stopping him from moving while you looking at him" is pretty much how Foxy works too (though Foxy is blocked by any cam), and it undoubtedly slows Foxy down a ton. Fact of the matter is, even infrequent camera flipping is pretty likely to land on a movement interval. And outside of Custom Night, even stopping *one* otherwise successful Freddy movement can delay him by tens of seconds, meaning it's much easier to check Foxy since you don't have to have the door closed. (granted even on Night 6 Foxy probably won't attack if you use the cameras enough. but still, having Freddy farther away is never a bad thing.)

Note: I am not a statistician, just a guy with a CAS calculator. Deathless run (44min 35sec) Golden Freddy appearing once: 7.5237% GF appearing at least once: 7.8392% GF appearing twice: 0.307% GF appearing at least twice: 0.3155% GF appearing 3 times or more: 0.008521% With Deaths (~100min) Golden Freddy appearing once: 15.2473% GF appearing at least once: 16.7322% GF appearing twice: 1.3957% GF appearing at least twice: 1.4849% GF appearing 3 times or more: 0.08921% Time needed for 50% chance of GF appearing: 6.3 hours (22713 seconds) 90% chance: 20.96 hours (75449 seconds) So while still rare, it is about 10 times more likely to get double Golden Freddy than thought in the video. And considering we know that (at the very minimum) 10 million people have played fnaf, there is very likely people who have seen 4 Golden Freddys in one playthrough, which is insane to think about.

Not to mention you got more easter eggs than just that. Everytime you see pirate cove empty clicking on your west hall triggers his run.. when you see it just be prepared to close your door

The crash from golden freddy is 100 percent how the game was designed. I believe (nowhere near as familiar with 2 as 1) that there is an animatronic that will crash your game in 2 as well.

The best way is setting camera to east corner, and then the pattern right door, camera, left door, camera, repeat. Only checking on foxy very occasionally

@@personwhowatchesvideos9163 on any camera except the corner looking at him will only stop him from moving while you looking at him, not slowing him down at all unless you waste power
@@bsheepdestroyermakesstuff7222 whenever I've played and stayed on the stage camera he's never been able to move, and I usually end the night with about 5% power. Maybe I do waste more power than I should, but the strategy I use does seem to work pretty well
@@bsheepdestroyermakesstuff7222 It can slow him down quite a bit on earlier nights (which in Freddy's case is just Not-Custom-Night). As a matter of fact "only stopping him from moving while you looking at him" is pretty much how Foxy works too (though Foxy is blocked by any cam), and it undoubtedly slows Foxy down a ton.
Fact of the matter is, even infrequent camera flipping is pretty likely to land on a movement interval. And outside of Custom Night, even stopping *one* otherwise successful Freddy movement can delay him by tens of seconds, meaning it's much easier to check Foxy since you don't have to have the door closed.
(granted even on Night 6 Foxy probably won't attack if you use the cameras enough. but still, having Freddy farther away is never a bad thing.)

Not only did Backseat get 2 Golden Freddie’s, he got the ‘ITS ME’ hallucination which apparently is a 1/1000 chance (1:00) TWICE (6:55) AND Freddy ripping his head off which is more common at 1/100 chance (2:30)

Since it has been revealed by ItzTaken that Golden Freddy actually has a 1/32,768 chance of spawning, not 1/100,000 as thought (watch his video to see where that value comes from), I redid some calculations to see the actual odds of Golden Freddy appearing in a playthrough.
Note: I am not a statistician, just a guy with a CAS calculator.
Deathless run (44min 35sec)
Golden Freddy appearing once: 7.5237%
GF appearing at least once: 7.8392%
GF appearing twice: 0.307%
GF appearing at least twice: 0.3155%
GF appearing 3 times or more: 0.008521%
With Deaths (~100min)
Golden Freddy appearing once: 15.2473%
GF appearing at least once: 16.7322%
GF appearing twice: 1.3957%
GF appearing at least twice: 1.4849%
GF appearing 3 times or more: 0.08921%
Time needed for 50% chance of GF appearing: 6.3 hours (22713 seconds)
90% chance: 20.96 hours (75449 seconds)
So while still rare, it is about 10 times more likely to get double Golden Freddy than thought in the video. And considering we know that (at the very minimum) 10 million people have played fnaf, there is very likely people who have seen 4 Golden Freddys in one playthrough, which is insane to think about.

I actually want to give you this cool strategy I came up with for power saving if you ever go back to FNAF one! The only three cameras you actually need to use are 1c, 2b, and 4b. Which are the corners by the office doors and pirate's cove!
This is also for people who enjoy the first game in custom night and/or those that have a hard time!
Not to mention you got more easter eggs than just that.
Everytime you see pirate cove empty clicking on your west hall triggers his run.. when you see it just be prepared to close your door

Golden Freddy is a 1/~34k because it overflows, everything after ~64k gets reset to 1 and the rest added to the counter. I’m not completely sure about the chances, but something like that

The info at 5:38 is how you deal with golden freddy in ultimate custom night, that's why the advice doesn't work in fnaf 1.
If you mean the 60% one then that makes a lot of sense because I was very confused how someone could make a 60% claim when it should be so easily disproven
The crash from golden freddy is 100 percent how the game was designed. I believe (nowhere near as familiar with 2 as 1) that there is an animatronic that will crash your game in 2 as well.
