Probably the best interview I’ve seen done with SMB and that’s saying something
After taking a break from trading, I got back into it because of reading Mike's two books. I made enough to afford joining SMB's programs and all the guys at SMB are great - willing to help understand and learn the markets up and down. Their depth and breadth of knowledge is awesome to be able to tap into. Great interview here. Thanks to all involved!

I joined learn to trade of greg secker and that program was itself a sucker. They just teach you to click on buy sell signals through their software. There is no real trading strategy learning.
"2nd time they've already implemented something ot avoid the same mistake"! That tendency I want to adopt 100%. Great talk, amazing to see all the experiences by such a big company.

Great interview. I've learned to up my edge as a trader just from watching SMB's TH-cam channel. Great insight from the guys.
Absolutely agree with the SMB team. There's an abundance of resources available online, including TH-cam and Twitter, which are invaluable for a retail trader like me. Balancing trading with other commitments means progress is gradual, but I'm confident that with sufficient time and consistent daily effort, there's a promising future ahead. The light at the end of the tunnel is certainly within reach.

The mentality of working for a prop firm is definitely more similar to working for a company compared to being independent. You are accountable to others since you are playing with their money and you will definitely have uncomfortable conversations regardless of how they sugar coat this aspect. You are only as good as your latest trade!

They don't. The employee turnover is crazy in this business. Those who succeed make a nice living but its a very hard way to make a good living. Extremely stressful too.

There are so many factors that play into one's game and risk tolerance, sometimes quite outside one's control. For certain reasons I feel I have to play it pretty close to the vest. Therefore, I see nothing wrong with several hundred G per year in profits. This year it is roughly 40%. Everyone is not always free to shoot for several M per year. Great channel, and I really enjoy it.

Wish people just be straight up transparent, say how it is. "you going to trade what we tell you and only what we tell you, out of those 10mil we give you to trade you are still taking 100K a year or less. we just need you for our business numbers."
