@@toprankinvesting5538can you please explain what you didn't like? I joined learn to trade of greg secker and that program was itself a sucker. They just teach you to click on buy sell signals through their software. There is no real trading strategy learning.

Absolutely agree with the SMB team. There's an abundance of resources available online, including TH-cam and Twitter, which are invaluable for a retail trader like me. Balancing trading with other commitments means progress is gradual, but I'm confident that with sufficient time and consistent daily effort, there's a promising future ahead. The light at the end of the tunnel is certainly within reach.
The mentality of working for a prop firm is definitely more similar to working for a company compared to being independent. You are accountable to others since you are playing with their money and you will definitely have uncomfortable conversations regardless of how they sugar coat this aspect. You are only as good as your latest trade!

They don't. The employee turnover is crazy in this business. Those who succeed make a nice living but its a very hard way to make a good living. Extremely stressful too.
Important for traders to understand concepts like risk adjusted returns and how you perform in bear and bull markets. This will determine whether you’re good or lucky, and propensity to blow up even if you had success.
I was in a SPY call while listening and might have missed important information so I’m going to watch this again from the beginning. Great video as usual from SMB
There are so many factors that play into one's game and risk tolerance, sometimes quite outside one's control. For certain reasons I feel I have to play it pretty close to the vest. Therefore, I see nothing wrong with several hundred G per year in profits. This year it is roughly 40%. Everyone is not always free to shoot for several M per year. Great channel, and I really enjoy it.
I like the management philosophy and colloaboration process. The process or overal program, appears to strike a good balance integrating risk management, staff development, and growth in a unique way. There appears to be a premium placed on relationships, knowledge sharing and accountablility. The program could be exported to other businesses perhaps as a franchise something to think about.

I don’t like these prop trading businesses, but, I do follow Mike and Jeff, SMB concept is very easy to follow, understandable, I have my young nephew watch their videos too.
Wish people just be straight up transparent, say how it is. "you going to trade what we tell you and only what we tell you, out of those 10mil we give you to trade you are still taking 100K a year or less. we just need you for our business numbers."

I've been eye balling a couple Tech stocks and APPL for a while now. I own no TECH stocks in my portfolio and I want to make that addition to my portfolio or is too late? I currently have a budget of about $1m in savings lying waste to inflation.
True, some folks employ hedging strategies or devote a portion of their portfolio to defensive assets that perform well during market downturns and such pointers are provided by engaging the services of market experts just like i did in 2019, amid rona-outbreak, and as of today, i can boost of a 45% enhancement on my $2m portfolio after acquiring assets recommended by my advisor.
Nicole Desiree Simon deserves credit as one of the finest portfolio managers in the industry. Her reputation precedes her, and I highly recommend looking her up to locate her online if you are internet-savvy>>
