Absolutely wonderful. 33:45 really helpful routine pointers!! 51:25 know your tickers in play. Sentiment, scale, news, volume and trailing breaks of prior bar highs/lows on the other side. 59:42 start with the biggest news / IPOs / moves /panics / breakouts and start your chart data base. Then crack them into themes or hipòthesis. Then write the rules those past events draw. Reverse engineer all the variables and the influence they have to fine tune the rules and hipòthesis. Risk: start testing on virtual, move into 1 share. Save firepower for when you have edge and size up slowly. Make sure you have limits at the software level. Sweet! Really great interview!!

Burnout is real! Take care of yourself fam. I'm an Aussie, so the markets don't open until 11.30pm for me. I trade from 11.30pm to around 2am every night I possibly can. I also work 12 and 24 hour shifts which can be grueling. I also have a family, as well as my own health to look after. It is incredibly difficult to juggle everything while getting enough sleep and being mentally on point for everyone's needs. I soldier on though because I just love the journey of trading.
Lance makes a great point about analyzing more details that others do not. I played poker professionally and at one point i thought maybe my skills had peaked. I then realized there was a way to do deeper analysis and consider more factors that i had overlooked. There's always a way to go deeper, and sometimes it's not obvious or it takes significant work

Build in your head recollection. 12:23 it doesnt have to be 100%. 70-80% is enough 13:26 easy trades, sizing those up. (Conviction)

it took me like a week or so to finish watching this talk as there are so many great insights to absorb in every 5-10 minutes. The part where Lance talked about his trading-changing loss really helps me get over of my stupid red day yesterday, now im able to open my trading journal - look at the chart and revisit these three painful positions. Btw who also think he's the real-life-talkative version of Ferb (from Phineas and Ferb)??
I have never heard Lance speak at length about what I would call his "philosophy of life". What I would like to say is that his philosophy of life gives me hope for our country and our planet. When I look around at the state of our country right now I feel deep concern for the generations that come after us. There seems to be an increase in random violence an a decrease in respect for every individual and their right to think and be as they are, So many haters out there, clearly fed toxic ideas, etc. So I thank Lance for giving voice to values that value and embrace all human beings. And I that Humbled Trader for who you are as well. Giving so generously of you knowledge and clearly demonstrating your humanity and encouraging your students try and try some more. You two have given me a real lift in sharing this with me. God bless you both.
Lance is amazing. Gave us so many nuggets! Everytime i am on a losing streak, i watch Lance's past interviews to remind me how i can get better and improve my trading
I wonder if highly successful traders that have done it for 10+ years, like Lance Breitstein, have retired many bread and butter strategies and have had to constantly devise new ones. I have been trading since the late 90s and it is crazy to think back about those early strategies that were so effective and realize they haven't worked since like 2003. I never would have imagined in, say, 1999 that I would totally eschew small caps and, in 25 years, focus 100% on selling option premium and trading options, futures, and index ETFs. Trading, to me, seems like a constant game of reinvention and developing niche strategies. Kudos to the folks that have been using the same strategies effectively forever, if they exist, and can scale those trades in size.
He just said, giving selflessly, and not expecting anything in return. As an old alchemist, this is the key of how to turn lead into gold. Great person! Hope if I ever do have a friend or aren't alone, I find the others like this. Just in shock how rare it is. Maybe it's where I live, or just not finding them.
These podcasts help me to become a better trader. I like that every trader on the podcast shares their ups and downs. What struggle are they going through to become successful in trade? And that is very inspiring. Common that I found that no matter how difficult is every single one of them just kept pushing and pushing until they found the right strategy for them.

After your day ends, that's when your work begins. For those of us who still have day jobs, we still have to find the time and energy to put in that extra effort after dinner.
You've definitely become my favorite you tuber. Many years I've tried to quantify the fact that we can be very humble and meek, but still very strong and even confident. (truly unconditionally loving). Of course, much debate on these words. I'm not profitable yet for many years, but have never spent 100% energy. I have to support my kids and family. (9 to 5 rat race). Lately, as a single parent, and a very helpful and loving person, I've become the most alone, isolated, seemingly unlovable, unwantable, person on Earth. If you do what you said you will lose all your money. Nearly every successful trader has a rough learning curve that lasts at least 2 years. Why? Because they don't understand they have to learn (the learning never stops) and practice by trading extremely small first. You have to find what style of trading works for you, and that takes time.

Take everything these TH-cam hacks say with a grain of salt. Without their courses, affiliate links, sponsors, and ad revenue, they cannot replicate the same results. Trading is all about psychology. Joe working a 9 - 5, risking his own capital is psychologically not the same as what these “experts” risk.
I have a counter-proposal: why not listen to the experts w an open-mind and learn what you can from me and others? Trading is not all psychology - the biggest weakness of retail traders is they lack edge. I sell no courses, nothing. All my content is free. I have helped hundreds of retail traders with free content, the same content I use to help pros level up their game.
I agree with one thing that there are a lot of hacks on here. But these 2 are definitely not. Lance and shay are the real deal it’s sad that you cannot see that but hey you do you!
@@TheOneLanceB you are naive if you think these TH-camrs can produce the same results without the additional income I mentioned. This does not make them trading experts. It makes them great marketers. Trading is indeed all about psychology. Use any strategy you like to create whatever edge you want. It won’t change the emotional difference between risking money you worked hard for in a normal job and risking money you know your viewers will help make up for you the next month. These TH-camrs and their viewers are not on the same playing-field. One clearly has a definitive advantage over the other and that’s gonna make their trading significantly easier. How do they expect their viewers to relate? The circumstances are infinitely different.
📌Thanks for your videos mate,, TA is all well and good but I find it truly baffling that all major stocks you tubers just look at pure TA and completely Ignore the bigger narrative of why stock Is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major pump at the peaks of stock.. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market...more emphasis should be put into day trading as It is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the Market..I have made over 9btc from day trading with Nathan Chui,insights and signals in less than 6 weeks, this is one of the Best mediums to backup your assets incise it goes bearish....

Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
I agree , I assumed I had a hang of the market at first, I gained $50k one year and I was super elated, not until I stumbled upon a portfolio-adviser whose been guiding me since the market's been sham after the pandemic, to my utmost surprise I netted a whooping $280K during this dip, that made it clear there's more to the market that we just don't know

If ur trading i would say pick 1 or 2 atocks and keep trading thrm on a daily basis....loke this u will be more focused and less fearful and execute smoothly with stops and targets
So many good gems for a new trader like me who likes to listen to people mistakes and learn from them, even though I STILL KNOW THEM THEN GO ON TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES. But I know it’s part of the game. Need to cut them out before I build bad habits. Great podcast.
Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.

I really do have a question. For someone with less than $5,000 to invest, how would you recommend we enter the market? I am looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What’s your take on this approach?

@ChrisTunis-yd9zl ....pick 1 stock and 1 time frame eg 5 minutes...if u do that u will know heartbeat of that stock....i trade 2 symbols only....thats make a difference
If you do what you said you will lose all your money. Nearly every successful trader has a rough learning curve that lasts at least 2 years. Why? Because they don't understand they have to learn (the learning never stops) and practice by trading extremely small first. You have to find what style of trading works for you, and that takes time.

Take everything these TH-cam hacks say with a grain of salt. Without their courses, affiliate links, sponsors, and ad revenue, they cannot replicate the same results. Trading is all about psychology. Joe working a 9 - 5, risking his own capital is psychologically not the same as what these “experts” risk.

I have a counter-proposal: why not listen to the experts w an open-mind and learn what you can from me and others? Trading is not all psychology - the biggest weakness of retail traders is they lack edge. I sell no courses, nothing. All my content is free. I have helped hundreds of retail traders with free content, the same content I use to help pros level up their game.
I agree with one thing that there are a lot of hacks on here. But these 2 are definitely not. Lance and shay are the real deal it’s sad that you cannot see that but hey you do you!

@@TheOneLanceB you are naive if you think these TH-camrs can produce the same results without the additional income I mentioned. This does not make them trading experts. It makes them great marketers. Trading is indeed all about psychology. Use any strategy you like to create whatever edge you want. It won’t change the emotional difference between risking money you worked hard for in a normal job and risking money you know your viewers will help make up for you the next month. These TH-camrs and their viewers are not on the same playing-field. One clearly has a definitive advantage over the other and that’s gonna make their trading significantly easier. How do they expect their viewers to relate? The circumstances are infinitely different.

📌Thanks for your videos mate,, TA is all well and good but I find it truly baffling that all major stocks you tubers just look at pure TA and completely Ignore the bigger narrative of why stock Is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major pump at the peaks of stock.. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market...more emphasis should be put into day trading as It is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the Market..I have made over 9btc from day trading with Nathan Chui,insights and signals in less than 6 weeks, this is one of the Best mediums to backup your assets incise it goes bearish....
