Outstanding reaction! I could see you start sort of "half" paying attention... then I could SEE you getting more and more drawn in... and ultimately you were totally mesmerized. LOVED it!!

Haley is said to have used 23 of the 9 recognized vocal techniques here.

Without an ounce of genuine feeling. Just show off, ego driven jazz cover. Excellent voice though 6/10.

Haley is by far the best vocalist to have ever performed with Postmodern Jukebox (PMJ). As before Haley arrived on the scene, all PMJever played were cheap dives and tiny venues.
Then after Haley arrived and quickly recorded several music videos with PMJ that all went viral, all of a sudden PMJ was filling coliseums and arenas. As everyone wanted to go watch and listen to Haley Reinhart.
Anyway, more must react to music videos featuring Haley Reinhart and PMJ are "Seven Nation Army", "Don't Speak", "Oops, I Did It Again", "Habits", and "All About That Bass".

Morgan James can defiantly give Haley a run for her money.

Haley is definitely my favourite, and you're right that this recording of Creep by Haley made PMJ take off. However, there are other fine singers. Morgan James is a phenomenal singer as well. I like how someone described them. Morgan was described as a Broadway stage kind of singer whereas Haley is much more a club and cabaret jazz singer. My kind of singer although I can also admire Morgan and other singers with PMJ.

Jazz & Soul : she has contributed to a number of tracks in the band Postmodern Jukebox, and scored a hit with her cover of Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling in Love.
Hayley took part in the recording of the album of jazz standards covers The Capitol Studios Sessions and has dozens of reinterpretations to her credit, ranging from Billie Holiday and Elton John to Alicia Keys, Ben E. King, Whitney Houston , The white Stripes,The Miracles....
    Great Sensual voice!

I enjoyed your reaction! Thanks! 👍 Postmodern Jukebox does 50's Doo Wop quite well, too! PMJ featuring Mykal Kilgore, covers Celine Dion's "The Heart Will Go On", which I never liked, too sad and draggy for me.
It's hard to believe, but, take the same words, and change the music and vocal style to DooWop, it somehow becomes a more hopeful, cheerful, just a happier song, that leaves me feeling good, instead of feeling bad.

Its' actually a different singer, PMJ switches up their performers, they're not all as pretty as Haley, though, but they all can sing wonderfully. One of their singers is Morgan James who can sing as good as if not better than Haley. You'll have to be the judge of her looks. @@dave-ox2eo

What you hummed to is what I call Fats Domino’s Blueberry Hill. Just listen to the brass.
Scatting is a lost art. Haley had the fortune to be trained by her father to scat since she was a baby.
Seven Nation Army and Lovefool showcase some of Haley’s scatting ability.
Haley uses the F word in her live performances of Creep.

She has been compared to Jessica Rabbit a very seductive character from the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Wondering how Radiohead likes someone else owning this song. Haley Reinhart makes Radiohead sound like a coma

A huge number of people loved Radiohead's version and it resonated with them. The hopelessness and despair in his rendition. Haley has wistfulness and sadness but also great passion and emotion, perhaps even anger. I never heard of Radiohead at that time. It was only after hearing Haley that I found the original.
In a way I agree with you. I don't like Radiohead's version although I did come across one live version that I thought was better than the other ones I'd heard. Of course, Haley is a superb singer, one of the very best performing today. That's a reason why so many of her "covers" (I hate that term. Does anyone use it when talking about Ella Fitzgerald or Frank Sinatra?) are better than the originals.
