Thank you to everyone for all of your feedback when I mentioned planning this series. I hope you enjoy this insight into a huge range of groundbaits where hopefully you'll learn about new mixes without having to part with your hard earned cash! If you'd like to see even more videos, participate in Q&A sessions and enjoy more coaching / tuition style videos then please check out my membership channel at www.patreon.com/CatchFishingChannel and consider becoming an official Catch Fishing Channel patron! * So this mix can be used as mixed in this video where it can be ideal for catching fish of all sizes but if you mix it the night before your session, it'll make the mix more inert so that it's a 'deader' mix making it ideal for larger, bottom feeding fish * Thanks again for watching and tight lines, Jamie :)
Brilliant groundbait...use it with the pro natural dark 👍....when targeting bream and skimmers....use this mix when I go to Ireland targeting those bid hybrids ☘️
mix used a lot on the river for roach and bream, as you say it needs a binder for deeper swims i achieved this with molehill soil, nice video matey and series
Hello jamie.Superb informative videos.Might I make a suggestion if that's ok with you,is it possible to mix the groundbaits the night before or an hour before or both for testing in the tank but still of course demonstrate the mixing then that would to me be conclusive of that particular groundbait. kind regards Robert.👍
Love bait-tech groundbait . The halibat/hemp one with a handful of some cheap betaine black groundbit i bought from my local tackle shop that come in a bucket to darken it up use to pull the river carp in within 30 minutes and keep them there too . It was unreal !!! Of course with everything that is too good to be true it was dicontinued . I saved a tiny handful of it to try and get a chemist to tell me what it was made up from when i found out it was no longer being made . And true to form the misses chucked it out one day . "It was empty . I chucked it out ." We are no longer together !!!
You can still get it in my neck of the woods in 2 kg bags and 3 kg buckets for 5 and 9 quid. International shipping from the continent will probably be pretty expensive. Let me know if you want the link. Cheers!
Another great vid keep up the good work Jamie watched your vids from day one look forward to the next one great to have your view on ground bait of all varieties thanks again hope one day to meet you .
@@CatchFishingChannel just added a bit of brown crumb to it, and then just the usual particles mixed in with it, hemp, casters, chopped worm, gave me a good stamp of bream
I fish mainly around the Newark area where I live places like Newark dyke ,east stoke etc on the none tidal stretches and large gravel pit called dollar at gunthorpe It’s a mix I have lot of confidence in but some times to give a boast I will ad some sensas aromix bream to the water while mixing the bait up
Have you thought about timing how long you leave the feeder before moving, if you move it for all mixes say after a set time it will give a true reflection on how a mix breaks down in the feeder like you time your casts
Brillo mate supprised me that with it being cerial. I thought that would break down much quicker. Just goes to show jow valuable these vids are. Mint job.
Another great video JamieI have tried the bait tech natural but found it to be really fine, if I can get it I always use VDE secret and beet 50/50 for bream ,
Could you try some Mainline Link groundbait? I know it's more of a spod/pva mix, but I am curious if it binds well enough to be used on the method feeder since I have friends UK side that keep landing carp up to 20 lb in close to freezing temperatures, as long as there is no ice on the surface, they keep on fishing and landing fishes. Thank you!
how did it make you feel jamie when the brazzim came through was it really nice ,im going get some off that stuff ,could you do a video off the life off a maggot please jamie it would be really interesting.
@@CatchFishingChannel my mrs keeps maggots for pets but keep dying after about 3 weeks so she has to buy some more ,what is the best thing to feed them on mate ?

@@CatchFishingChannel bream on the feeder, fishing the river blackwater

@@CatchFishingChannel just added a bit of brown crumb to it, and then just the usual particles mixed in with it, hemp, casters, chopped worm, gave me a good stamp of bream
Brilliant videos Jamie I love this ground bait I use it a lot on the Trent the mix I use is pro bream with sensas magic and brown crumb
Thanks Matthew mate. That's good to know, do you fish the tidal or non-tidal stretches mate?

Hey Jamie I’ve heard people use irn bru to put in groundbait instead of brasem, is it a gd idea to use
when you premix a groundbait anything up to 5 hours in advance would you use tap water bottled water or lakewater?

Hi Tito, yes I used this mix at the Iberian Masters in Spain in 2018 mate!
@@CatchFishingChannel ohhh ok, , i use it only for small fish

To be honest mate I didn't use it much when I was a kid as I rarely used groundbait and when I did it was usually just brown crumb mate
