Thank you for all of the great messages and to the 2-3 companies that have kindly sent me some bait samples to feature in this new series for you which will be rolled out from the 1st of December 2019! If you also like coaching and tuition style videos then you may like to check out my other channel at www.patreon.com/CatchFishingChannel thanks for watching and I hope you all have a great weekend! Tight lines, Jamie
Great idea for a new series, looking forward to the uploads. This for me is the most important part of angling, the fish dont know I'm using a £200 reel/rod! However the bait sells your hook for you not the rod and reel.
Superb informative video once again Jamie. I see a lot of video's on here that are informative to a certain degree but just don't go into the nitty gritty details as you do. Thanks for continuously sharing your knowledge and experiences to help improve my fishing.
Really looking forward to this series. So many ground baits out there now it gets confusing which one to use and a lot are aimed more at commercial fishing where as i tend to fish more natural venues.
Hi Jamie, great vid as always. I would like to see you experiment with adding leam to groundbait mixes, and what this product has to offer in feeder fishing.
Great video again Jamie, I fish silvers winter leagues and have always struggled to bring quality fish into my peg on the pole, I'm always chopping and changing between mixes as I've no confidence in them, what would you suggest? I know it's not an easy question but as one of my fishing idols I value your opinion. Thanks
@@CatchFishingChannel Thanks for the reply Jamie, I've been using a mix of dB F1 sweet and black milled expander, dB black milled expander and Sonu F1 green and a mix of those with bait tech bream and nothing seems to work to well for me or I just get carped out. Thanks
I'll be interested in watching the series and if you could go into what ingredients are in the mix as well as smell how well they bind and what there best uses are. I knew of a groundbait that I used in the 1980's was called katch which was made with hemp and herbs and I found it amazing for carp and tench. I wonder if its available by anyone as I believe masterclass took over the company who used to make that particular groundbait. If you could fine out that would be great but I think it's no longer available. Love the channel and I've been out of match fishing since 2003 but will be getting back into it early next year. Take care
Hi Richard, I remember that name mate but haven't seen it for years. Hopefully you'll enjoy the series and thanks again for watching mate and welcome back to match fishing :)
Hi Mike, in deep water I like to use a these solid plastic feeders www.fishmatrix.co.uk/home/product/open-end-feeders?c=feeders-leads but if your having to cast a long way or conditions are bad I use these with a cage coat on mate www.fishmatrix.co.uk/home/product/horizon-wire-cage-feeders?c=feeders-leads
I'd love to Shaun, visiting other venues is definitely something that's part of my plan so yes mate I'll add that one to the list thanks for watching mate :)
What is that horrible music. Like been in a dodgy club! Not sponsored but fishes for the ringers team and the ‘go to’ winter ground bait is ringers. Coincidence??
Haha I guess that might show my experience of too many dodgy clubs lol When your in two minds about a winter mix on certain venues and you know for a fact that Steve Ringer, Adam Wakelin and Phil Ringer are actually using the same mix on those venues I can't see the point in trying to reinvent the wheel mate, there aren't many people in this country who'd argue with the records of those 3 anglers are there? Besides, the first 3 years I fished for Ringerbaits in the world club qualifiers I was a fully sponsored angler with Bait-Tech. It's just confidence mate

Really looking forward to this series. So many ground baits out there now it gets confusing which one to use and a lot are aimed more at commercial fishing where as i tend to fish more natural venues.

Thanks mate and thanks for watching!
Hiya Jamie
Speaking of feeders, what feeder would you use in winter in very deep(20ft+)water ?
Great video
Hi Mike, in deep water I like to use a these solid plastic feeders www.fishmatrix.co.uk/home/product/open-end-feeders?c=feeders-leads but if your having to cast a long way or conditions are bad I use these with a cage coat on mate www.fishmatrix.co.uk/home/product/horizon-wire-cage-feeders?c=feeders-leads
Hope this helps mate?
Jaime love the videos .Could you use the ringers black for f1 fishing on the pole . cheers .
Thanks Tony and yes I know lots of anglers fishing on snake lakes etc that are using it now mate. et me know how you get on with it mate!
More great info, this page is going to get bigger n bigger, rightly so 👍
Thanks mate really appreciate the support, loads more to come :)
@@CatchFishingChannel its a 2 way street, liking and showing support helps you help us and as far as angling... i need loads of help lol, cheers 👍
It's a pleasure mate and if there are any video topics / methods / venues you'd like to see please let me know mate :)
@@CatchFishingChannel sure will just making my way through your previous uploads right now, thanks again 👍
Hi jamie enjoy watching your vids just wondered when doing the ground bait feature.weather you will meant ion about value for money.? Thanks Andy
Thanks for watching Lesley and yes I'll be mentioning the prices of the mixes and what quantity you get for your money :)
Super tips Jamie ;)
Thanks again Frank! :):)
Good luck with your new gig. It's going to be hard to find a better groundbait than Special G green.
Thanks Andrei mate and yes that's a great mix isn't it mate!
@@CatchFishingChannel to say it's great it's an understatement, it's more like a magic potion... LOL
Hi Jamie great vidio do you add any other ground bait to the f1 ringers to make it more sticky
Thanks Dave mate and no I've only used it on it's own mate
Have you heard of so simple baits they do some amazing groundbait
Would you do a video on the Gloucester canal ?
I'd love to Shaun, visiting other venues is definitely something that's part of my plan so yes mate I'll add that one to the list thanks for watching mate :)
at last, been looking forward to this mate, and as i said have a look on face book for tom thick baits it is very good
Yes I will do and thanks Martin mate :)
will you be doing a heavy mix vid for deeper waters say 12ft ish ??? thanks jamie@@CatchFishingChannel
You might find with most of the dynamite range smell the same just different colours should try essential baits b5 and black snail groundbaits spot on
Yeah possibly mate it'll be good to see and use the range :)
There's two much choice?. Best bet, over the winter.give us your best catches. and what ground bait you used. Will be watching.👍
Yes I definitely will be doing mate and thanks again for watching!
Jamie would you use ringers dark green in a mix when fishing a canal in the winter ? Or would it be to strong
I’m stuck between adding ringers dark green or special g green which is something I’d usually add to my mix
I am curios, what is fishmeal groundbait made of ?
Is it worth boshing in winter
Great vid but will you please speak a bit slower as it is easy to miss some of what you are saying
Thanks Peter and sorry mate I often get in the 'zone' haha
Burt Baits natural bream
Is that a mix you've been using Lewis mate?
CATCH Fishing Channel yes mate, been using that with crushed expander
👏👍👍
Thanks Anthony mate :)
Bias to ringers because you fish in their team
Not at all mate, I've fished in their team for the last 4 years even whilst I was with Bait-Tech mate
What is that horrible music. Like been in a dodgy club!
Not sponsored but fishes for the ringers team and the ‘go to’ winter ground bait is ringers. Coincidence??
