Nonsense! Check the RX-8. Production car. You can buy it, you all are millionairs after all. Okay it is not a racing car. Spend that saving money, or rotary will go down.
Yeah... not really. The 787B was many things, fast was not one of them. In the qualifying results during the 1991 Le Mans race, the 787B was more than 10 seconds slower per lap than the leading competitors in the Mercedes C11 and Jaguar XJR-14! Mazda was well aware that their car could never compete head on against the fastest cars on the grid. Their winning strategy came from understanding that in endurance, being fast alone isn't guarantee of anything if you can't cross the finish line. The 787B biggest strength was unironically its reliability against its competitors, who had to use 3.5L engines forced by the FIA that were a mechanical mess plus a ballast. Throughout the 24h race, many ended up breaking down while the 787B kept going strong.

I don’t know why but the clutch on the rotary engines won’t let you do a burn out from stand still if u build up the revs and drop the clutch I believe it will just start burning the clutch not rubber but I mighty be wrong I just might be a poor driver 😢
You can definitely clutch drop to do burnouts with a rotary engine, your clutch pressure plate may be getting weak or you might need to rev it higher before dropping the clutch because the rotary engine doesn't make very much low rpm torque, to compensate for that you have to use the high rpm ability. Rev it almost to redline, drop the clutch while immediately pressing the brake, then fluctuate your throttle pedal to keep the rpms in your desired rpm range.
Dude Endurance cars are geared to the moon and I don't think Mazda wants to burn through more than one clutch in a day. It absolutely can spin its tires though. It will spin all the way up through 3rd if your not careful.
