Trip to Pete Waterman’s Layout in Chester Cathedral - plus 300 subs SUBSCRIBERS giveaway quiz.

Hi Everyone….. In this video I go on a visit to the beautiful Chester Cathedral to see Pete Waterman’s excellent and huge OO layout.
This is my first trip out to see anything since covid started messing us about, and it was great to get out and about.
The layout is a huge flat sided oval in the region of 70 ft long, with an only slightly shorter 60+ ft scenic section and a similar length 6 track fiddle yard.
The fiddle yard is loaded with an excellent variety of locos and rolling stock. Enough to interest many tastes.
I’ve only included a fraction of my photos and video shots, so as not to spoil your own visit if you decide to go.
The layout is on show till September and is well worth a visit. You can also explore the Cathedral itself, which is fantastic in its own right.

Hi Colin … thanks for dropping in. They layout is worth a look, and if you get bored the Cathedral or Chester old town is good and wasn’t busy because the number of tourists is currently down.
