This was such a cool idea to see you revisit some of your previous projects. A mini project is never really done! lol! Love the addition of the tape to the toy store doors, what a great detail and bit of history.
Yeah I thought that was so fun to learn from my viewers and I have to admit that it added.to the project. It's funny about the projects never being done...even now after adding to them there is like at least 5 things I've thought about adding since then! lol
I am in awe of your work! I absolutely love dollhouses from a little child. The Wizard of Oz is the greatest story ever told so I love your dollar tree furniture makeover! Unfortunately I’m not very crafty but I’m going to give it a go. I could watch your videos all day. You are incredibly talented!
awe thank you! Those wizard of oz pieces are some of my most favorite things I have ever made. I'm happy you are going to give it a go. I'm am the most happy when I am in a state of being creative. :)
The new Poltergeist tree is perfect . It has energy and the branches really look like they are reaching in to grab Robbie from the bed , very menacing .
woot woot! It was so great returing to the projects and adding to them. It made me feel accomplished lol, I wish finishing laundry made me feel that way!
The Blackout curtains were so people could have lights on in a room without running the risk of the lights giving away densely populated positions to the German bombers flying overhead. People also painted the windows with black paint, coal dust and mud and you would be fined if one of the air raid wardens caught you with 'naked' windows.
Oh,this is great! The Manzanita branches!!! They improved not one,but TWO of your projects,I love that!!! Things like this, they always welcome changes and/or improvements, just like any space in any home. Well done,Whitney.
thakn you! Yes, it felt really great to add and change some things up. I figured it was time I do that before I had too many projects that things would really get away from me! Oh and Tiny Whitney will be making her way back to thte screen soon! Finally had time to pin her down for a few small scenes! lol
Nice little updates. Love the new spooky tree in the poltergeist project. I know what you mean about having to pack away things only to bring out for certain seasons. I have so much spooky decor I have to rotate things. Keeps things interesting! Looking forward to ET!
yes exactly, I do like to rotate stuff out, makes it feel new again. I love that! I'm happy you liked the tree, I do too, feels so much better to me now!
@@WhitneyLaBrie I do have one, made out of an old shed my aunt had when she lived where I live now. Has grapes growing over the top for the roof. No where NEAR as luxurious as your miniature one! HAHA! BTW- I have been very sick so never did get a package off in the mail for you, my apologies.
Oh my gosh! How cool was that, I would have loved to have seen him perform! WOW!!! It was a good feeling add and finish some of these projects, too many unfisnished things start to drive me crazy!
I really do love that shed, it has made me want to turn my reall shed into something more spectacular, but for now it just holds all my dollhouse projects and minis!
Oh I'm so happy I'm not the only one! It's constant am I right, I'm always like "I could.add this or I could change that." On a very rare occasion I will consider something absolutely complete!
I like all of these updates! I think for me, that the poltergeist tree is the big winner. Such a good look! I can’t wait until the shed gets its full measure of glory. You are always so talented and so creative, it’s a party for my eyes when you post a new video😂
I really appreciate that, that tree annoyed me every time I looked into that room and so I knew eventually it would have to come out. The shed was for sure a summer favorite and I can;t wait to add some cool outer elements, maybe even a little stream running under it, hmmmmmm....
All Such great projects! The Poltergeist room (one of my very favorites!) is now perfect. I didn't realize it wasn't perfect before but the new tree is incredibly scary with the lights off and the lightning 😱 The asylum definitely went to the next level spooky with the cross and tree. Thanks for this cool video Whitney😎🥰✨
This was a total lesson for me, sometimes for the sake of finishing a video on time, I will shortcut something, if I had just taken the time to do it right, I make have thought about the branches before, but I am so happy with the new results, it just gave the room the right feeling that I wanted originally! I guess that's the great things about the hobby, always learning and growing! xoxoxo
Yes I feel much better about the tree, I love that room box so everytime I looked at that tree I was like..gotta change that, feels good that it is finally done!
@WhitneyLaBrie lol it definitely looks better, I love the way it looks like it's 'crashing' through the window. it is brilliant. It can be so hard to try capture movement, especially in minature.
The tape they used during the blitz, was called wound plaster. It was made with cloth, and as the name implies, it was used to hold wound gauze in place.
Thank you, I loved working with them so much, way easier than making your own and really not badly priced. I'm going to use them soon again in another project! :)
This is great, and I love all the changes, but the asylum is still a little bare, I think. It would be very cool to add some manic drawings on the wall and some fallen to the floor. Could be demonic drawings or some fraise or word or symbol repeated or even math.
that asylum is one of those projects where you can just keep going and going, I bought a mattress for it too already, love your ideas. Someone else said I could add an old rotting bird house to one of the branches and an old IV pole with a dried blood bag also great ideas!
My moma was a huge Elvis fan... she would've absolutely loved it!!! My fav is the mental hospital the little clip board and cross was an awesome idea!! I love everything about Halloween except the 'c' word they should be banned!! ❤
so it was your great idea I believe about the clip board so of course I had to add it! Elvis was a must and I can't beleive I didnt inlcude him originaly! ...and as for the "c'" word well, I got you! lol
Nice re-dos/additions. I think there's something in all of our projects in which we're dissatisfied, so I appreciate the idea of updates. The door handles on the shed are adorable.😊❤🥄🥄
I can't remember now, but was it you that had the spoon handle idea!? You and several others often give me great ideas, it was fun to implement many of them in these projects. :)
@WhitneyLaBrie haha I can't remember. I know I suggested gardening tools as handles and the patient chart at the end of the bed in the abandoned asylum. 😍😊

Yes thank you! It has energy, I was searching how to explain that feeling! I feels so much more terrifying now and I love it!
The trees were a great addition. Also, packing them up means you don't have to dust them 😊
Thank you and also good point! lol...I have to dust a lot as you can imagine!
The addition worked out so well.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

My first husband remembers as a child at their summer cottage in Cape Cod having lights out rules enforced.

Great makeovers. The tree makeover was the best, it really does have creepy vibe.
I appreciate that so much. I love that room way more now and I don't have that feel of "I like everything in here except that dang turd tree!" lol

Great Idea to go over old projects!!! Thanks for adding Elvis to Nashville!! I saw him in concert when I was 9! He was still very cool...

Love the idea of revisiting older projects- I always seem to think of things I should have done once projects are complete!
Oh I know, Its really amazing how much you can add to a project, even if at first you feel its completely done!
Brilliant optimizations! I have to laugh every time I look at my projects I find something I could add, create,.tweak too...never really done😅.

All your changes and/or additions were great and truly made a difference. The Poltergeist tree was definitely the best!
Thank you, I agree, the tree change was the chefs kiss! i was very happy with the results.
I love them all!!! One last thing I would add to the asylum would be a broken bird house/feeder for the tree. 😊
ooooh thats a good idea, also I bought a mattress that Im thinking maybe I'll make it look like a rat made a nest in it or something like that!
Oh, that would be a great addition, too!!
Love the additions. The tree is my fav. Your projects are amazing!
