more great content - all about stretching my money as much as possible. Not there yet with the arrow work but now something to consider in the future- work in progress..
Dude thanks! I appreciate that. And yeah man arrows are fun to work with. Too me it's worth the bit of extra time it takes out of my nights to build them instead of getting the factory fletched stuff. Not that it's a huge difference but there is something about being invested in your gear. But take it one step at a time. There is no rush. Shooing and learning our bows always takes priority over any gear.
Of course man. Sorry it took so long! I appreciate you asking for it. Makes me feel better about making content that's talking about things I own rather then just how I use the stuff. Might sound odd but I never want to be a gear TH-cam guy. I want to build a place where people can talk about what they have but also how they use it to maximize whatever it is that they have. I hope that makes sense. But if not. Thanks for the request all the same. 😅
@@walderman55 no i absolutely get it it’s easy to get caught in this spiral of all the gear people use and how they use them we really need more people like you who just lay it out how it is and not advertise just for money gain i really appreciate your content keep up the great work always looking forward to another video
@@bubba2405 Man you get it. It's an easy trap because gear is fun and keeps things new. So I get it. But I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from.
@@walderman55 definitely TKO for hunting and Vap 4mm for 3-D comp. I start shooting the TKO around the beginning of September in 3-D for hunting season. The Vapes fly so nice out on the course. I ended up buying a house in Ocala this past Saturday. I saw wild hogs and turkeys on the way out of Ocala heading to Tampa Sunday morning. Spent the day at the beach in Clear Water than fly back to NY Sunday afternoon. Lol
Dude you been a busy man. Congrats on the house purchase. And man I didn’t think about going to a 4mm. That’s super small for trying to grab some lines. lol but if they fly nice that’s most important
Dude even for the wides! That's the whole reason I wanted to try them. I thing I'd get better blood then my 1" blades. Because these give me little to no blood at all I feel like. Well looks like I need a 3 blade options. What are you using this year?
its 2025, time for some nocks that glow in the dark that you can charge in the sun/daylight. They make solar LEDs, someone should look into the same tech for arrow nocks. no batteries, no muss no fuss.
Dude that sounds genius! Definitely think you got a money idea here! I need you to get to work on that idea, and let me try them out when you get them made up.

I got them 5mm Tko there so nice I just shot 3-D with the boys last weekend and it was so nice they slide out of the targets like butter 🏹
Dude for real though! That's such a low key benefit to the arrows but a huge benefit all the same!
@@walderman55 they are my choice of arrows love these things best arrow for hunting. I also shoot the Vap 4mm for three 3-D comp
@@josephhenderson7044 dude nice! I haven't tried the vaps yet. I felt like they were too heavy. Have you enjoy the vaps or rips more?

I’ve tried iron wills wide with bleeders, great penetration, horrible blood trails
