Voltage for this controller is12 or 24 so I think between 30 to 40 voltage is max. But better think about amps and with this I think you need to be carefull, maybe over 50 amps is blown up this device. 🙄
" MPPT SOLAR " seems to be a name of a brand, not the kind of product ! And under is written " Charge Controller ". So, it's a Charge Controller, named MPPT SOLAR. It's not a MPPT solar charge controller !
That mppt is the same one I have. I got it on eBay. I have been trying to get a refund from the seller because it doesn’t do mppt stuff, like the input voltage is always around 12v, even though I know the solar panel would be 18 to 20 v output. If it were marketed as pwm, and I bought it as such, then fair enough. But like I told the seller, it’s like he sold me a v8 car, but when I lift the hood it’s just a lawn mower engine and not the v8 he told me. The gauge of wire I was using didn’t fit, so I ended up using house quality cable. I have 4 x 160 watt panels, using this thing I can run a 12v fridge/freezer that draws about 6amps per hour. So using 144amps per daycare 12v = 1728 watts per day. Assuming 5 good solar hours, around 350 w per hour harvested from a system potential of 560 watts. So about 5/8 of potential. If panel volts is 20, then 5/8 is around 12.5v. PWM as far as my maths goes, even without pulling it apart
Sorry to hear. I'm not sure what you mean about the voltage, but if you want more voltage your system you need to make battery system 24V. Put 12V batteries to series and then it's double voltage, then you connect to you controller and you have 24V system. Another hand then you can't use direct your fridge. This controller is more effective than cheapest pwm put yes it's not MPPT. If something I have learned to build solar systems, you never had batteries enough, no matter what is your setup. And those batteries is most expensive part. :(
@@HerbHillFarm can u suggest me 1 real mppt , and are they adjustment current ? ( I have 1.2 kw panels and wanna build powerwall 18650, using pc ups as an inverters , but they work on 12 v so i have to go with 12 )

Half moon is when panel is not giving power, can be that it's broken. Our controller don't give anything at USB-connectors went broken, but otherwise it's works okay.
hello I'm Italian and seeing your tutorial I wondered if you could give me information on how to set the clock of the MPPt you installed being the same as mine the instructions are in Chinese and English I tried to translate but a comma is enough to change the meaning in Italian, if you can make me a little video on how to set the clock I would be grateful and thanking you in advance Jaems by by
I'm so sorry. We don't have anymore that device. But long press when you are in place what you want change, then up or down to change it. Hope this helps. 🙂
The connections are not big enough to run wire for 100amps. 10 gauge wire is the biggest you can get in the connections and that is only good for 30amps max.
This type of controller does not need to be restarted. There is also no reset function, if you want to go back to the factory settings you simply have to change the parameters manually to what is in the manual.

Nice video well explained
How many 205w panels can you connect on parallel with this type of controller?
Two but I don't recommend this type controllers pure mppt is much better
This is a PWM sold on Amazon as an MPPT. It's a scam.
Do you know what is maximum input voltage from solar panel?

@@HerbHillFarm Yes ! In anyway, it works very well, even if it's a PWM solar charger.

It means that your solar pa nel is not connected or there is no sun.

Hello ,off topic , but whats your opion now on motor star 150 . I see its half price of the honda , so maybe half as good ? Idk . Is it worth buying ?
We didn't have big issues with motorstar, but if the money is not matters of course honda is right choose.
How much is the input voltage from panels .. 24 or 36 v ? Cs i have my panels in 36 will they work with that fake mppt controller ?
We have 24V panel and that controller can handle only 12 or 24V panels. Better to use real MPPT controller even those are more expensive.

Depending on the load you will apply, it can be satisfatory even though its not a real mppt.
That is kind of beside the point.
It is a pwm charge Controller and no is a mppt charge Controller, no make convert over voltagem to corrent as mppt make
True, but it's do more than regular PWM
