Outstanding video. I've been unplugged for a while now but after years of dreaming of getting my PPL I'm really working hard on finally doing it (hopefully this winter). I have this A2A and think my choice for lessons will be the C172 Naples Air Center has (other choice is a piper warrior). Hard to get back into simming these days since I once had a killer setup and now will be using a small controller due to space. So much great news tonight with learning P3d is now 64bit and equally great news for me is finding your channel. I remember searching for ages with no good videos on this aircraft and now after a couple hours I'm grinning ear to ear. Thank you. Looking forward to watching everything you have on this bird, and more! Easy sub.
Glad to hear you're finally getting back into it. And yes, the simulator is a powerful tool, but not without proper guidance. I hope these videos help bring some realism into the sim for both real world students/pilots and those that just want a more realistic simming experience.
The videos are fantastic. I have to wake up for work in 5 hours and can't stop watching. Love the tips and using the real world checklist as well as you explaining things that I might not even hear from my future instructor, such as emphasis on leaning while going through the run up to avoid carbon buildup and even taking your time to adjust the mixture per magneto during the run up. Looking forward to learning a lot with these.
You are a fabulous instructor! Thank you.

Do the lesson/guidance apply for xplane 11 too?
Yea all of this stuff applies to any 172R/S/SP that you fly. And the basic principles apply to any airplane you fly.
