i actually googled Jason the toymaker and according to the information i read Jason was a mentally unstable guy who's first victim was a girl who Tricked him into making her another doll claiming that the doll he made was defective btw, there should be a part two.

Maybe he chooses his victims (heh heh “friends”) because he sees a bit of Amelia in them, the youth and gullibility, once they doubt, anger or he simply doesn’t want them anymore… it’s a sad fate. I’m glad he spared Amelia but she must’ve really been traumatised and hated her former friend, to be honest, he’s not someone I would wanna go near.
