Thank you very much! This is the best video that I've found that demonstrates how to use this threader accessory. So helpful to know what needle and machine types it will work with. My new machine's "automatic" needle threader has defeated me, but I now feel confident that I can be successful with this tool. Heading off, now, to purchase one! 😀
@@SharynsSewingSchool Thank you, Sharon. I'm a fairly inexperienced sewist and could not justify the cost of a Janome (yet!), so went with an entry-level mechanical machine. That allows a larger budget for fabrics and notions so that I can get more projects under my belt. I'll be looking at the Janome models once I am more experienced and am in a position to upgrade. When searching for machines this time around, I found a few that I liked at a more affordable price point, but they were not available for purchase in the US. I suppose it has something to do with whether a given model is configured for the standard electrical current in, say, the UK vs the US. But one day, I'll have a machine with more capabilities. I especially would like a machine with a lock stitch, automatic cutter, and maybe a built-in laser pointer. One day. 😄
@@Sally-ih6ls it is quite complicated to put a built in threader on a serger or cover stitch machine because the needles are close together. These separate threaders do a good job as long as you don't bend the wire.
Thank you so much!! I couldn’t get mine to work until I watched your video. Found that my wiire was not straight. I unbent it and it works like a charm no.
Thanks for the demonstration Sharyn. I have one of these but had no idea how to use it. A very useful gadget I met you recently in the Janome shop in Joondalup where you helped me buy my lovely new machine. Good luck with your channel. So nice to hear another Aussie voice on TH-cam. Maybe some advice on how to use the one step button hole foot next?
Thank you so much Jean, which machine did you get? I have filmed a couple of buttonhole demos on different machines. Now I need to know which one to edit!

@fiberjazz glad it helped. Is your new machine a Janome? I have experience with those threaders. Certainly, some have a trick to them.

I have been looking for this demo for a long time for my serger, THANK YOU,
Which serger/overlocker do you have, Sally?
@@SharynsSewingSchool Pfaff 3.0 cover lock
@@Sally-ih6ls Interesting to know that Pfaff include them with their machines too. I was aware of Janome and Babylock including them.
@@SharynsSewingSchool with the sergers only that I know of…most of their machines have the threaders attached to machine

You were lucky if you were able to unbend it. They are often unfixable!
Thank you for your calm and chill vibe

Thank you. Never knew what this tool was. What an easy/great explanation. Will be helpful for putting my needle in my embroidery machine.
You are very welcome!
Thanks 🙏

@@SharynsSewingSchool it was the demo 4300QDC and I am loving it. Have also recently got a janome air-threader so I am all kitted out now.
The buttonhole video you asked for will be up tonight, Perth time! Hope it helps.
I’ll be watching 😊
I love my sew easy needle threader. If it wasn't fir that I would never do any sewing. Just do easy to use snd saves so much time snd frustration.
It certainly makes sewing more pleasant if you can get the needle threaded quickly.
Thank you so much!!!!
Glad to be of assistance!
It would be nice if you talked louder
Thanks Kristy, this was one of the first times I filmed anything. Hopefully I am getting better now!
