    I hope I never have to go through this. My CH2 was intermittently cutting off audio in full up position. Sprayed DeOxit Fader lube and it's worked well for 3 hours so far. Maybe regular lube maintenance will work until the fader physically breaks.

      Definitely yours have the same issue, that’s what’s happening on my before, when you slide up it works, once you let go, no pressure for on the fader to push down, audio get cut off…
      You have the same issue by brother.
      Fix it and sell it ASAP. I sold mine i got tired fixing it.

    Well thanks for this video. This made my decision to go s11 over s7. Good thing you’re knowledgeable and able to fix your own mixer without much downtime. Thanks for taking the time to make the video 👏🏾

      Actually s7 is fine except for the channel faders. I still have it, I’d love to get the s11 but I don’t like the build in screen on. It just confuses me

    Coming back 2 years later because im starting to have upfader issues aswell... Do you remember the thickness of the adhesive you used? Also do you remember if there are visible traces on the PCB where the sticker attaches to? I'm a bit scared of using that technique and later if I need to fix it again the sticker might rip a layer of the PCB 😬

      I just repaired mine. You can drill and countersink a 1/8 hole through the plastic and run a flathead m3x8 screw in to threaded holes of the fader. I still need to put back to gether and test but I think this the best way to fix.

    Reloop Elite IS nice don't listen to haters because it is not Pioneer or RANE. Just make sure the firmware is downloaded to 1.06 (the latest)The ONLY issue is it does not have a lot of fx for using real vinyl.
    The Reloop ELITE looping section is the easiest to use by far. You can really use it live in real time with no bullshit
    Once you get used to the ELITE it is a joy to use, I sold my Pioneer S9 for a second one and never looked back

    • @Ninja_man_son
      @Ninja_man_son  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I might get a reloop, what do you recommend.😁

    • @Will-rh1wh
      @Will-rh1wh 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Ninja_man_son Yeah, I like it if you are a real hard core turntablist that is just into cutting juggling and shit and don't need frilly effects and just into skills then the ELITE is good. The built in Serato effects are fine by me no one complains
      The paddles that the Pioneer/ Rane mixers have are nice but who cares? Just keep on the fx and use the mini level/depth faders slide them up and down (same as on/ off paddles)
      Outside of the innofaders (yes all 3 are removable and exchangeable and upgradeable) believe it or not when set up right you do NOT need to upgrade them
      The looping section is the best on the market 1 button encoder just set your length for seamless loop and press once BANG seamless loop live no bullshit better than RANE and PIONEER

      The layout of the reloop is 👌👌,. the output on it is super loud, and the eqs are 👌.
      But sad to say, the build quality is poor, I've had mine for about 2 years
      And the load buttons and effects buttons are terrible. Took it back in to fix, only for it to become faulty again 😭.

      @@Will-rh1wh I have Reloop ELITE, S7 and REV7.I think Reloop ELITE has great maintainability compared to S7. So far, the faders have not broken easily.
      In terms of durability, I recommend the S7's crossfader, but the CH fader is as shown in the video, which is disappointing. Pioneer doesn't seem to have made it with the premise of replacing it from the beginning. As if to tell you not to take it apart.

    My channel fader cuts in volume as I fully open it. Is that the problem you had? I've reversed it which has enabled me to continue using it until I can send it in. After watching this, I think I'm going to just buy the S11, send in the S7 get it fixed and then sell it.. I need to know my mixer isn't going to flake out when I already baby it..

    Pioneer 'fill in the blank' is now crap. The trend to use cheap controller hard wear instead of real hard wear had me move to Rane. Even my 6 year old djm-s3 is easy to fix, pioneer has changed for the worse. And this was after returning an s11 after having it in hand next to the Rane 70, the screen is a gimmick I choose to live without.
