I installed a ColorDMD on a friend's Data East Guns N Roses pinball machine. This is the first Data East ColorDMD created by the company.

The machine is running a Pinsound replacement soundboard. www.pinsound.org
Better sound. Custom game sounds are possible with this soundboard and that's what you hear.

Hi there, I know this is an old post but just purchased a GnR machine and wondering how you get the extra end of game feature that is different to my current one? I have just purchased a colour dmd but wondering if I need a software upgrade for this feature. I was looking at a pin sound board but wondering if that just changes the song list etc?

Looks great! I'm wanting to do this to my Simpsons Pinball Party, but wondered if LCD or LED is best for this? Any opinion??

I recommend the LCD. Got one in mine and looks amazing

This is the LCD version of Color DMD I believe.. I did this video 6 years ago and this was a friend's Gun's N Roses so I dont fully remember. But looking at the video it looks like the LCD version. Not the LED version.

Gotcha, Yeah have no clue, was not my game, it was my friend's game. Probably got a bunch of LEDS from Cointaker or something and changed to LEDS?

In Spain color dmd is plug and play, this is horrible!!!
