How Many Starfield NPC Companions & Crew Mates Can You Have At One Time & How To Get More

- NPC Companions & Crew-mates are an integral part of the Starfield Gameplay experience, both in terms of driving the story, missions & quests, but also in terms of being powerful buffs to your ships, outposts & when you're in combat on foot.
In this beginners guide video I explain that you can only have a maximum of 1 (one) companion directly following you at any one time, but the number of crew-mates and outpost followers or companions is limited by the size of your ship, the number of outposts you have and the perks or skills that you (or your companions) have unlocked.
By unlocking and levelling up the "Ship Command" & "Outpost Management", or by adding more hab units to your ship, you can have more NPC team members in those locations.
Even if you don't have spare room on your ship or in an Outpost, a recruited NPC will hang around where you met them until you "Assign" them to a location.

Manage to end Starfield with Wilcox and Adoring Fan on my side. I almost managed to get Hank aboard as my third companion, but he got stuck at the end of the Crimson Fleet quest. I killed him, and strange things happened: Each time I got a new power, the body of Hank appeared in front of me in the temple.
im pretty sure someone will make a mod for this, hell they did it for fallout
Hey, why I have 3 Crew on my ship, I mean I have 2 men Companions inside and Sarah😅😂(ps: I'm only few Hours into the game, so I don't expanded my ship slots or anything like that)

How do u get multiple followers to follow u some guy did it but did it using mods I’m trying to do it without mods
So far I have Emma Wilcox the freestar ranger barret and a survivalist guy I found in a cave on erandii u can pick pocket his weapon and give him a magshear and 1 . 50 array bullet he only exits the ship on erandii tho and will only explore erandii with u if u leave erandii he stays on the ship by the exit hatch he wants me to take him to his ship he had a group but they were all killed by aliens that entered the cave and attacked him he was hiding behind a rock wouldn’t even have noticed him there if my flashlight and scanner wasn’t on cuz he didn’t make a sound
I’m currently looking for more ppl that I can find start a quest for but not complete it I do this in every Bethesda game I try to form my own band of adventurers and when I’ve finished all my quest I will complete theirs as a fair well before completing my main quest
I have 3 Emma ofc and barret but I’m telling u I’ve been looking cause I wanna make a video on it unless someone else has done it but can’t find anyone mention levent kilman. He’s a missing worker on on the planet ixyll 2 in the ixyll system at the elelos retreat that ur sent to find just don’t drop him back off at the retreat once u find him. U can even go back to the planet without returning him and he doesn’t die and follows u on every planet. Lmk if u find anyone else
Did the same thing ur doing on fallout 3, new Vegas, and Skyrim each game I got like 7 followers at once
@@elgrantoentertainment1735 what’s your reasoning for this my reason for acquiring multiple followers without giving a damn about completing their quest is because follower imo are a better reward than some sword or gun in fallout 4 I have Travis the radio dude sentinel AI power armor dude billy the ghoul and Ada as a nukatron assaultron
I hate traveling the wasteland alone is my sole reason makes no sense that one dude is storming buildings I am legend style but owns property can build property own small community’s but won’t ask for more than one person to follow him across said wasteland
@@Ed-ealmighty same u run into groups of raiders spacers whatever just makes sense to have ur own group and I usually can get plenty good weaponswithout compelling every mission another follower sounds better to me
