I feel like from an RP point of view, it makes sense to focus on the main story and then once finished focusing on exploring the different worlds and biomes and building up my ship and some outposts on some really nice planet
Fudgemuppet recommends not rushing it. It's hard not to get wrapped up in something else though. U will probably want to answer distress calls and start faction quest lines.
I’d say from a RP point of view, you can explore under the premise of scanning planets for artifacts. You can survey a planet and act as if you’re searching for gravitational anomalies. Bring a Constellation companion along to really get into it.
@@agentnukaz1715 this, not spoiling the story so far but there are multiple senses of urgency in areas of the games storylines so it gets really difficult trying to justify say planet scanning or harvesting things when someone's being attacked by Spacers or there's a big story device which wouldn't make sense not to do straight away

Hey fudge idk if you'll see this or have a real answer. Do you know if when you free land on a planet instead of the premade spots Bethesda has spread out through each planet. Are they RNG? Like when you land that's way does it make the Caves, landmarks, bases, ect procedurally generated like say Deep Rock Galactic where each missions environments is different? Very much the ships landing on surfaces are random but what else?
After watching several of your videos I had an epiphany imagine if they did borderlands DLC in the way of Starfield. In regards to the melee combat character you could have the pit fighter from the skyrim mod that is placed in the Starfield universe where your character would come and play to be The Champion of the universe. Or possibly they'll be implementing ground vehicles for planet excavation or scanning imagine turning that into a so-called rat race if you've seen the movie. It could be very well the modern community that creates these as well just some ideas to shoot towards you guys.
