Definitely a helpful guide. I was unable to access the last one, because it's in an area that becomes inaccessible after you destroy the Crimson Fleet. But I needed 100% of the others. I've found a few in the game other than these, but I'd not found anything you pointed out. Thanks for the help.

I’ve also found 2 more not mentioned in this video… One on “The Lock,” located under “The Keys” orbit mentioned near the end of the video- It was located inside a locker in the shower area. You may need to progress the Crimson Fleet faction missions to get here. The second is on Indum 2 in the Indum system, at Pilgrims Rest, behind the locked door. You may need to progress the main storyline to get here.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE, these respawn on NG+ and the stats youve gained are PERMA and they do stack! so you can have 500% improved stealth with 5000% stealth melee damage if you pick up 500 of those books you can get there 10 in total for every book set per run (i think maybe one is only up to 4)) in your game so try grabbing them before NG+ ((if you can find them all, i know a few are hidden in rng dungeons better to just grab the garneted drops that always have the books then struggle finding the whole set through rng, or doing companion quests cause there are a few tied to these skill books.) and this will make you a ghost when your hidden. or get a bunch of carry weight, improved cutter charge, more damage, these books do alot. edit: there could be stack limits, i haven't ran into any yet, and its hard to tell if you did get more stats, but my lb keeps going up when i pick up those +5 lb's books. ive picked up about 16 and have gotten 80 more carry weight.
I actually noticed something, the magazine locations are truly in fact locked, however, there benefits will change every playthrough 11:08 i see what you did there lol
For those of you who completed the questline involving the UC Vigilance and don't know where the ship is, either check the moon of Mars (Phobos) like in the video or by The Key in Kryx
@@DragonSin420 I was able to just walk in there through the normal entrance. I am not sure why it's closed off for you (possibly story-related). If you can't get in there, there are other magazines not in this video or you could grab the respawned magazines in new game+.

Each magazine must have random buffs, the Cyber Runner's Cipher 02 you picked up from the electronic store has a laser buff for you but I got adds a bankable auto-attempt for hacking.
They should list all these buffs you get somewhere in the game so you can check to see what you have since you can sell the magazines after you find them
@@jokersson0568 I think he means it would be nice to have a list of them on something like the stats menu so someone can keep track of all the bonuses they possess.
While doing the 2nd kill mission from my outpost listing, I found ANOTHER Constallation Guide 02 on Altair IV-a in another Abandoned Research Tower. Evidently, the magazines are spread by TYPE of building they're located in (at least for magazines not in standard places).
For the Mast location for magazines its faster to travel from the fasttravel point downwards the ramp (toward the transit system), then take a right and theres also an elevator
I have over 45 skill books. Should I have been writing them down? I remember one is in akila, in midtown. Its in the only burnt down plate in a crate. Its very hidden, I found 3 magazines in akila
At the Akila Consulate I got "Freestar Captain's Log 03". Adds a 1% to disarm using melee attacks. 🤷♂️ I'm pretty sure I had grabbed the one shown in the video shortly after going to Akila for the first time. I'm level 71 now so maybe that has something to do with it?
Do we know if the guides stack across new game+ Are they truly permanent. So if I collected all the weight ones on 10 new game plus I'd have like 250 extra weight?
You are missing a lot. I have 37 and I think there are a total of 61. If you have finished the Crimson Fleet mission and side with the Vincent is stationed at the Key AND the Core is locked up and you can not get in it. You can still get around to the bar to get the Grunt magazine, but not the gym for the Peek Performance magazine. Not happy about that. I hope I did not miss any others. I think you can blow up the Key too and if you side with the Crimson Fleet I am assuming they blow up the Vincent locking out that magazine.
@@theholyabigrail Fallout 4 did that with at least one... the one in the Institute. I learn to go grab that first as soon as I have full access to the Institute. I wish they would relocate them somehow if you missed them before finishing the mission because I hate the idea of not being able to complete the collection.

@@theholyabigrail There is an unofficial patch for Fallout 4 that is even in the mod store. The only bugs I found that stopped me from doing something is some of the venders you can get for your settlements are a bit glitched and either you can't get them or they sometimes just don't show up. I run a lot of mods but almost all of them are just visual improvements. Fallout 4 is my favorite game... I am not sure if Starfield has taken the crown yet or not. The one thing I am struggling a bit with is because it is such a huge map the missions are just scattered all over the place. It is hard to know if you have completed most of the missions in an area. The main quest mission and the follower missions are pretty straight forward and so are the military mission lines like taking on the Crimson fleet or joining the rangers. I do like though that you can have such different outcomes from the same missions and doing the legwork on the optional parts or going through all the dialog options can actually impact those choices... and effect you followers. They really fleshed this part out FAR better than any of their other games (and FAR better that New Vegas too). I think I am up to 41 magazines and some are saying there are at least 105. I actually had one sitting in my ship inventory I had missed. The big problem is these magazines are FAR harder to spot than in Fallout 4, partially do to the much larger variety of things laying around, like books and food packs that can look similar.
Just found one near bathroom and safe in helium 3 facilities on the moon (Luna) 5% weapon damage at night. Fair bit of loot and mission given at other facility near landing.
Anyone know if there is a way to see your total stat boosts from all the magazines & dose new game plus do anything to them, like dose it reset or finding the same mag dose nothing.
This might bw a stupid question but how exactly do these magazine work? Do yhe buffa automatically just apply when you pick them up? Do you need to keep them?
Please ask that Bethesda patch the game so you can see what skill book bonuses you have and don't have. Since you can be "reborn" there is no way to track by storing them what books you have etc. need to be able to see the bonuses. Thanks
I havent tried selling one yet but I'd imagine not, because these bonuses carry over to NG+ (but not the mags themselves). Also in Fallout 4 you could sell them but keep the bonuses.
They don’t have the same perk. The one I got in the consulate didn’t increase my carry capacity. It says. Permanently adds a 1% chance to disarm with unarmed or melee strikes.
This may seem like a dumb question but if i collect all the magazines in one playthrough do all the perks stats carry over to new game plus and also if they do on new game plus can you collect the magazines again to double the perk and stats Also just got to the part where you say ' instead of going into dwayne Johnson' absolutely fantastic i love that comment 😂😢
If you sell the journal, the buff will remain. You don't have to keep them in your inventory. So I think the buff will at least remain. As for whether you will get a new buff - I'm not sure. But why not?

After doing NG+ this magazine 1:55 was called Cyber Runner’s Cipher 02. This magazine Adds a bankable auto-attempt for hacking.

You don’t need to commit a crime to get onto the Vigilance, if you start the Vanguard quest, you’ll be sent there after your first mission

Grunt Issue 02 is located in the Syndicate HQ (Ebbside part of Neon)

Not sure, I wish there was a way to track your perks you’ve earned through magazines like you can in all fallout games
There are more than 25 magazines in the game. When I checked my character stats > General > Magazines Found was at 28.

As soon as you collect them, the perk applies to your character automatically.
