    Aside from interesting and informative content I must say the video quality is quite good, and I mean overall, not just image.

    hello sir, i would like to know whether it is mandatory for the nozzle to be in vertical position relative to workpiece instead of being inclined during spraying process? And if so, what is the reason behind it?

    Hello sir, is it necessary to maintain vacuum during electrostatic coating process?

    • @ultrimaxcoatingsltd
      @ultrimaxcoatingsltd  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      no vacuum needed just correct polarity on the machine and metal surface being sprayed

    Interesting. Can electrostatic liquid paint be sprayed over metal that has been power coated and is peeling?

    • @ultrimaxcoatingsltd
      @ultrimaxcoatingsltd  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes in theory it can but no matter what style of paint you would want to recommend preparing the surface well ready for a new layer of paint

    Hello Sir , I am planning to do a project on electrostatic spray coating, and I have no idea about the temperature required to heat the sprayed coating so that it gets bonded rigidly to the parent material, so can you kindly share the info on this matter?

    • @ultrimaxcoatingsltd
      @ultrimaxcoatingsltd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello that depends on what type of material you are painting ? We spray our materials when using electrostatic at standard temperature between 5-20 degrees (UK) . br Ultrimax Team

      @@ultrimaxcoatingsltd hello sir in my project the base metal is tungsten carbide and the powder to be coated is TiAlN (Titanium Aluminium Nitrate) , so in my case what would be the recommended temperature upto which it has to be heated?

    • @ultrimaxcoatingsltd

      How to make yourself? We wouldn't recommend it but its based on standard physics polar opposites of electromagnetic charge (positive & negative).

    How to grounded it?

    • @ultrimaxcoatingsltd
      @ultrimaxcoatingsltd  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Tatia, to ground it you basically have to clip a grounded cable to a steel structure (ie the steel the item you are painting) and then back to the sprayer unit via a cable that runs along the gun. This includes a control unit modulating the current attached to your sprayer. It's why electrostatic tends to be more expensive in setup but heavily cost saving in paint (the paint is attracted to the metal item and not the walls, floors or you in overspray) br Ultrimax Coatings Team
