I’ve never seen these in Japan, plenty in China. Lots of Toto bidet toilets with heated seats in Tokyo, and Kansei region.
They are much more common in the More rural areas, me seeing this is funny because I am going to Japan tomorrow
Interesting. I visited Japan almost 20 years ago and saw them in public restrooms often. Maybe things have changed since then!

When I went to south Korea went to the country. We end up going to a restaurant and only toilet was the squatting toilet. Told my mom I'm not pooping in that lmao
