- #Omkar lost his parents in 2018. During the pandemic, he lost his job too. With no educational qualification, his options were limited. That's when he decided to put his cooking skills to good use and started #bindhastavadapav. He is a one man army, he cooks and delivers #vadapav all over #Dombivli. This is his story of survival.

Tbh it's not media's work to share personal stories.Their work is to deliver news (which they don't unfortunately).
The man donated 200 - 300 Vada pavs when he doesn't know where his next meal comes from. That is true humility, empathy, kindness and signs of a big heart.
Such selfless people, a selfless son looking after parents and also society, self friends helping him....makes us to believe humanity is alive though rare in society. God bless him and his friends. Don't worry God will take care of you.
Self Employment is the best way to do well. The road side Dosa seller most likely earns more per day than an Engineer with less than 5 years experience. Give market & financial knowledge then the Dosa seller can do even better

This boy has the potential to make it big. The way he explained his issues by keeping a smile shows he is mentally brave. The fact that he is just 22 and still keeps his head up is an obvious tell that he will make it big.

I usually don't comment on TH-cam videos but I have to praise Quint for this documentary. Even as someone who his Omkar's age, I can't imagine what he has gone through. Thank you for showing the struggles of the ordinary man while our TV news channels fail miserably at their jobs.
After watching this I feel I have taken alot of things for granted in my life including my parents... What surprises me is that even I'm 98 born he's of my age and dayam I wouldn't be able to do it all of I was in his place

I liked when he said we need to break those stereotypes when he was talking about gender norms. It's come as a blessing for him the cooking skills he learnt from his mom. My respect to this young inspiring man.
So this is the only thing u got from the video ie gender stereotypes but in reality atleast in India most of the hotel wala dhaba wala redi wala pani pura wal chai wala are men's and in those hotels they do everything from cooking dishes to washing utensils to cleaning and serving...nd they do it for living

By my parents grace I've never seen shortage of food yet. But still I can feel how is it to endure hunger. If Omkar's journey sees a brighter end, who knows he might be sitting on the business /management school's executive board and so on. Experience is far more precious than institutions which have so many ifs and buts attached.
